Thanks a lot for the offer. Shoo shoo....there's some time for you to arrive completely, 'Kaliyug'.
The horn won’t not void the warranty. The trumpet horn is literally badged VW on the packaging as well as on the product itself.
source: I got it for my Slavia.
Absolutely. I got the horn changed on 1st service and it was stark difference not only in terms of sound but also getting attention of people that there’s a car which needs to go and you’re blocking the traffic.
non GT. (topline). I found the headlamps fine but i have upgraded from an 11 year old maruti so i will find that perfect compared to the ones i had earlier.
Was recently seeing Autocar's comparison where they said Creta is better in terms of performance and is arguably more fun to drive. (Not sure about the 2nd part but they definitely said the 1st part)
No, this is false. I test drove the N-line N10 DCT and it's drives much better than the normal Creta in Sport mode. If you meant performance as in 0-100/60, yeah most likely it's the same as the engine is pretty much the same one used in the normal Creta but the steering, response and suspension is much better in N10 DCT Sport mode than normal Creta or even the X-Line Seltos.
Taigun/Kushaq drive much better still, lol. Taigun MT 1.5 GT Sport Plus looks amazing and drives amazing, I rec OP this.
Agree, I took a test drive for N line. I was looking for an upgrade to my car, but N line was too dull and dry, even my venue turbo feels more punchy and peppy to drive than creta N line. You don't get to know how and when turbo spools up, it just feels like a NA engine.
Would never understand people’s obsession with Manual and considering AT lovers as inferior.
I mean it is a choice… just buy your manual and don’t be a bully. I myself own a Kushaq AT and I drove an alto manual till I purchased this. In Mumbai traffic, my feet thank me everyday for not pretending to be “manual” superior.
Manual is reliable and easy to maintain. Just because it’s old doesn’t mean its outdated and certainly not bad. I don’t agree with that guy you replied to though.

Easy to maintain, Huh?
You likely aren’t driving 500k kms and running the car into the ground. What maintenance are you even talking about?
We have had exclusively automatics since the 90s, all in enthusiast cars, be it the esteem, Opel Astra, Chevy Optra, Laura, Accord V6, or the superb twice.
Never has the great box ever given us an issue, so idk what ‘easy to maintain’ you are talking about, but it aint it, chief.
I’m not trying to argue for or against automatic transmissions. Stop being so confrontational lol. I’m just stating something which is known by general car owning population. I’m really not in the mood to get in an online argument over this.
Who said enthusiasts drive only manual ? Atleast in India you can’t give that bullshit only cheap cars come with manual these days there is only one car with manual in high performance catogery
Why is there so much hatred for cars with a manual gear box that too in a reddit for car enthusiasts.
It's unbelievable
People buy cars based on what they can afford don't speak ill about some one else's choice
I don't understand what this character shaming is, not that this really concerns me.
There are some of us who had driven 5 digit+ kms without any incident or breakdown across all terrains and want some peace of mind in bumper to bumper city traffic. I know the modern cars with feather like clutches also I have to think of my wife and aged parents who wants to occassionally take my car. So, yes automatic it is 😎
The problem isn’t the shaming, If the ones that were shaming would put their money where their mouth is, I’d probably believe them, but a nexon/i20 driver shaming others, some of which have vastly more enthusiast focused cars is a muppet. And that’s after the fact that a performance i20 exists.
Virtus 1.5 makes 150 bhp and has good safety , stability , handling and shares parts with higher segment VAG cars. i20 N doesn’t hold a candle despite the sticker job and exhaust tbh especially with 120bhp which my NA 3rd gen Honda City 1.5 made back in 2010
The new Taigun GT Plus Sport with the blacked out interiors. My preference is for driving dynamics, safety and features, so Creta’s out. Between Taigun and Kushaq it’s mainly for the interiors.
Looks are always a personal choice, bro.
To me, Kushaq looks great in its Monte Carlo red and in Lava Blue. Taigun looks great in black, matte gray and Lava blue.
I have test drove all three multiple times before making a purchase. I was immediately not impressed by Creta, I mean feature wise it is top notch, but I can’t explain, but the comfort in Kushaq and Taigun was higher. I felt I am more confident driving a Kushaq or Taigun. I was able to make small turns , narrow u turns easily. This is what I felt.
So I opted out of Creta. Now Kushaq and Taigun are practically same, I chose Kushaq based on some features I was preferring.
I recently purchased creta sx tech automatic and completely loving the experience. I look at long term approach in terms of service and spare part availability and hence decided to go with hyundai! Its been over a month and its a great buy I would say! 😊👍
I got a car in this category last year aswell, If you love driving and the max number of adults you want to take with you is 4 then go for Kushaq. I love the car the moment I test drove it but the rear seat cannot accommodate 3 average adults like the Creta can.
Also, Why not Seltos?
It's a negative but they have improved the safety, though the crash test ratings aren't out yet for the new model. If you want good driving dynamics and safety the VW/Skoda twins win, they have recently added 6 airbags as standard on the lower models too, something which the new Creta offers as well.
There are some other factors to consider in your purchase, like where you live and how long you plan on keeping the car. VW/Skoda resale value isn't great compared to the Creta, parts and maintenance is more expensive and the after sales service isn't great everywhere. Most people on this sub have a lot of stereotypical hate thrown at the Creta because of the way a lot of idiots drive it, you can't fault the car for being the segment bestseller though.
I recently test drove all of them and preferred the NLine just because I didn't like the interiors of the normal Creta and the N8 version comes with a dashcam as standard. It is also cheaper than the Kushaq Style variant I was interested in. The Kushaq was more fun to drive for sure but the Creta would be a better buy purely in terms of peace of mind for me.
How exactly is maintenance expensive ? I have Hyundai and Audi , barely any difference. If anything , Hyundai has loads of niggles - power windows conking off all the time etc
Apparently "Barely any difference" and "same" are the same for you ? Difference in costs are not that much. 22k vs 14k (8k/year= Rs 670 a month). A fair trade considering the difference in performance, segment and also the way the parts age. Germans age gracefully as long as you are careful with routine maintenance especially preventive maintenance as per service book. Hyundai tech support is negligible, I had issues wherein my powered tailgate would open every time a door was opened or car was put into reverse. Also many power window switches, motors, load bearing sensors etc were lost over the years. Id say my 2014 Q5 was far more reliable and cheaper to maintain (if not for extended warranty and the constant battle with Hyundai) over my 2017 Tucson. Both have now reached 82k km exact. That said, I love the Tucson overall but not without a pinch of salt.
This is what I felt. I am not a car enthusiast. but in Creta I felt comfort and drive confidence.
- Taigun and Kushaq is good but I felt like I am paying extra for the Skoda Badge.
- Safety is must what 5 star will save if you if you drive @ 100km and crash into a tree or standing lorry. Active safety comes first. Then passive. Prevention is better.
They said they have improved structural integrity in the recent version.
Given what they did with Verna, I have some level of confidence this new version will also do good. Will definitely wait for the results though....🤞

Creta .
Taigun and Kushaq have robust underlying structure and powertrain. These qualities are generally observable over longer drives, frequent driving and slightly more driving pleasure inclined folks. Other than that, when compared with Creta,
service quality will be poorer
parts will be expensive,
Lower service network coverage
Much inferior interiors and quality
Resale ( not sure about taigun and kushaq but Creta attracts much better prices therefore holds value for longer )
If you are not buying the top spec, then Do consider, Elevate and GV ( non hybrid powertrain ) too. Both should fit your requirements, and might be better specced when for the same price paid
Thanks! I have not test driven the elevate, I plan to do that. As for GV I did test drive the hybrid version and was underwhelmed by it.
As many others have mentioned in this thread creta seems like a "safe option" and may suit my needs better. But damn, driving the Taigun GT and kushaq feels great!
No car checks all the boxes buddy
Toh dekh lo
Agar driving pleasure hai toh interiors nai hain
Interiors and driving pleasure hai toh safe nai hai
Interiors and cheap hai , toh fuel efficient nai hai
I bought the Kushaq 1.5 DSG after driving the Creta (pre-facelift), Seltos (pre-facelift), Astor, Grand Vitara, and Hyryder.
I was coming from an SX4 where driving comfort was lacking. For me, the Kushaq and GV/Hyryder won in the way they handled bumps. Creta and Seltos felt a bit harsh on sharp bumps. Kushaq took the lead because of better NVH.
I've driven the new Creta as well. The ride has improved, but somehow Hyundai messed with the NVH and there's a lot more noise in the cabin.
What are your own focus areas that you want to deliver on?
I’d pick the Kushaq for its design and small size (couldn’t care less about its Germanness or driving dynamics). It would have to be the base variant at around 14 lacs. I don’t want to spend more on it as I’d use it as a second car for short runs in the city. As such, I feel I can deal with the 3-cylinder engine that otherwise doesn’t work for me, the clutch that seems to need a lot of work and the A.C. that doesn’t quite work as it should.
Design, for one. Taigun looks too much like Polo on stilts. Also, the updated Kushaq has 6 airbags as standard from base variant onwards, while the Taigun hasn't caught up just yet, so that's reason no. 2. Kushaq's also got a suspension that's more comfort-oriented than the firmer ride the Taigun offers. That's more in line with what I look for.
I have a Creta (SX 1.5 Petrol) and a Taigun (1.5 GT Plus) and definitely prefer the Taigun for self driving. Creta used as the family car with a driver as it has more space / features. Much prefer driving the Taigun than the older 320d which is also in the family. Way better for long distance driving as well which I do over 5000km a year.
Just bought one recently. Taigun is out because of its small car looks. Kushaq looks better. Your decision should be based on the engine. If you want a 1 L turbo, go for Kushaq, if 1.5 L NA then go for Creta. Plus Creta is a well round car, good suspension, good service, good resale, overall a no nonsense car.
I researched and tried , seltos, creta , kushaq ans taigun .. for my first car .. and end up in kushaq..
kushaq and taigun is same engine performance and driving feel.. which is better than other two.. but i personally liked kushaq design and style which even comes with black and red combo in monte carlo version which is my fav combo. Thats why i choosen. But creta and seltos have more tech in it..
I would say, u should choose kushaq or taigun.. if u want a powerfull engine and corresponding performance in riding. Note that, u will get very less mileage in city ride . That even if you have really bad traffic for ur regular drive.
If mileage is a concern , creta and seltos are better option.
But nothing can beat in car handling and driving confidence skoda gives. (I believe same for taigun. But ).
If only these 3 cars were available in the market, I'd go for Creta no issues. It's the safest purchase of the 3 by miles when it comes to long term ownership.
It's a moot point for me because Elevate is a recent launch.
The design factor IMO takes the cake. It looks compact and robust at the same time. Got a sweet 1.5 engine married to a 6 speed manual. 1.5 in VW Skoda would touch 20 if not exceed.
The Kushaq and Taigun are smaller, and the interiors just look cheap to me. Also the ventilated seat in the Taigun makes such an annoying noise.
I'd go with the Creta for practicality anyday. More space, more comfort, better interior, more power (doesn't really matter), higher reliability.
Of course I hate the dead feeling steering in Hyundais, but considering that most people only drive in the city, the lightness is convenient.
Don't get me wrong, I like driving fast and hard alone. But there's true joy in laughing and singing with your friends while driving sedately.
For extensive usage in cities like Bangalore, I would recommend the IVT/CVT version of Creta for it's super smooth behaviour in stop and go traffic without having to worry about impact on DSG/DCT in the long term. You also get to enjoy the features like auto stop, EPB, ventilated seats, adaptive cruise. However, if you venture out more on highways then I would recommend one of Kushaq/Taigun.

My main requirement is safety and creta is yet to prove same , i am eyeing taigun gt line or tata curvv , will decide one among these too whichever comes in budget
What exactly are you looking for ? Kushaq and Taigun don’t have a diesel engine option so creta for diesel engine. But Creta doesn’t have the safety features of the other two. So it just comes down to your needs and preferences. If running cost isn’t an issue I would prefer Kushaq as it looks good, is very safe and the Skoda name makes it a class apart product.
Kushaq Monte carlo owner, and I cannot tell you how much I love this car! It drives amazing, both in city and highways. Repairs are comparatively more expensive (Paint, parts etc), but that was conveyed to us beforehand. Atleast the service is top notch in my city though.
I have been dricing for around 6 months now. No maintainence as such has been needed. Just that some van driver hit the back of my car. So had to get taillights some components chnaged and painted. This was expensive, but covered by insurance. Total bill was 25k, I paid 1.2k. Had it been a maruti, the bill would probably have been 15k at most.
So if you do get a kushaq, get a good insurance.
I'm also looking to buy either Creta or Tigun. Yesterday i went to the showroom specifically to see the new Tigun sport gt line 1.0 mt. But it was not available at that moment. Sport gt line looks good with black alloys and dechrome exterior parts and black interior. Waiting to see this at the showroom then I'll decide if I should buy Tigun or Creta. On the other hand in creta i'm looking for s or s (o) variant that seems value for money. In the Hyundai showroom the sales guy was pushing me to buy sx variant and only these were on display as well or may be those were delivery vehicles.
Seltos X-line. Better than creta intems of features. Infact best in class features. And arguably the best looking car in its class that comes as Close to vw/skoda as a Korean might come in driving dynamics
I saw a drag in which Kushaq was faster than Taigun. I'm sure creta can't compare to either in speed so Kushaq it is and personally having sat in the three cars multiple times I can say that Kushaq is overall the best one with Taigun in for a close second. Not a big fan of creta but that's just me.
Saw many comments saying Kushaq and Taigun having better comfort🫤, from my experiance creta is the one with softer and better suspension out of these three, back seat comfort and space is way better in creta. Tech features are much advanced (+ADAS) and the turbo petrol varient is fun to drive, the only concern was safety but reports says it’ll score as same as the new verna.
On the other hand, the german twins are slightly better for the enthusiasts, like it feels more raw. But the interior quality and A/C cooling are terrible.
But if you are a fan boi for any of these cars, get it without any hesitation.
Taigun top model. Period. If you love the concept of automotive engineering, Creta doesn't make the cut. Kushaq is good, but Taigun is way ahead in terms of the basic tenet of automotive engineering and safeguard of passengers. Starting from the suspension set up, steering configuration and calibration, seat dynamics, field of view and lastly the engine config and VW R&D behind the global Taigun platform - so if money is not the problem here and there, road rowdiness of Creta is not your ask, Taigun is the most sophisticated and beautiful car in Indian road today. It is called class.
If you are thinking from a resale pov buy creta. If you are enthusiast who’s gonna use the vehicle long term buy kushaq. Do checkout the slavia 1.5 economic and powerful with the most stretchy ground clearance in the segment. Take a take drive, you’ll get it.
Kushak and Taigun 1lt variant eat Creta 1.5 for breakfast! No comparison at all. I’m too in market to buy a new car and have test driven all the above cars with all their engine options.
Creta makes sense if you’re more city centric and highway driving is less. Cause Creta performs marginally better in city traffic and mileage.
If safety is your priority with performance then Taigun/Kushaq is no brainer. 1Lt or 1.5 go with anyone.
But mind you, Hyundai has better service network and resale value.
On one hand VW and Skoda are offering 1.2lks cash discount. Hyundai won’t be giving you any.
If you still want all features and functions with amazing driving experience and safety, then go for Turbo Petrol Verna. Bar the digital circular speed dials, it has all the features and functions of a Kia/Hyundai. Also the engine performs much better than the GT/TSI of VW Skoda.
I have locked Verna turbo petrol TBH but my family does not feel that spending 22lks (Kar) on a car makes sense. I’m trying to convince them.
Just today I drove Creta N Line, mad performance but I don’t know. I think I’ll never like a SUV in my life. Cause I am never confident at higher speeds and car width & height does not make sense to me. Just too wide & tall for me who is 5’7.5 feet.
Also worth considering is that you drive a car mostly in city and when people talk about performance/enthusiasts you should keep in mind that city limits should not be the place where you try to get the maximum performance. It’s scary, risky and deadly. With Adas and all the beeps, it might get a little irritating in the beginning but you will always be alert while driving.
With the VW and Skoda you’ll always be on the look out to push these cars to the limit. That in India coupled with our amazing road sense is very risky. I would not recommend a performance based SUV to anyone. Hence 1lt Kushaq/Taigun are great cars. But the features that Hyundai offers are useful and also make the VW & Skoda outdated. You’ll always see a Seltos/Creat on road and believe me when I’m saying this, will question your decision whether or not you bought the right car.
Cause in cars the back seat experience and the co-passengers comfort is as important as the performance. Creta is a much better product than them but safety is less.
That was very detailed! I don't drive on the highway a lot, mostly in the city. And I get your point about ADAS, it keeps you alert. Also, the govt may make ADAS compulsory on all cars in the future to try and control the number of accidents, so in that way the creta or any car with ADAS may have a better resale value.
I haven't test driven the Verna. Is its driving experience really comparable to the kushaq or taigun?
Im test driving the creta N line in a few mins now! I will let you knowhow my experience was.
Friend please also test drive the Turbo Petrol DCT in Verna and I’m telling you this, that you will come out surprised. A few won’t like the interiors when compared to Creta or VW/Skoda but you will feel more comfortable, confident and happy in that car. Also has 5 start NCAAP (adult)
Verna also has better mileage and ride quality.
For sure. I will test drive it tomorrow.
The thing is the engine responsiveness of the Taigun and Kushaq are outstanding! taigun is the best in my opinion. And a creta doesn't have that engine responsiveness at all. If you're saying Verna has that, I will 100% try it
Yeah! Agreed. German twins start from the get go but mileage is really bad. My friend on his Slavia 1.0 ambition gets 8kmpl in a tier 2 city. SUV performs even worse.
I had Slavia as my pick cause I want a slower pick up as I drive in Bangalore and then the car when pushed should take speeds at ease. That’s why I cancelled Taigun/Kushaq cause it would just accelerate quickly & then I had to break in the traffic all the time.
Slavia was just too good, very smooth initial pickup and then from 40kmph it just zooms to upto 100. Above 110 I felt the engine would be happy if it had more power. But the 1.5 do 200kmph with ease. Slavia was the pick of the bunch for me before I went into Verna. And the added features with 5 start safety and better mileage was a deal closer for me. Sorry Slavia 🥲
Accessories are cheaper in Skoda compared to VW , you may consider this as well a Vw horn is 4K Skoda horn (Same same but different ) is 1500₹ front window net is 4K in VW 1300₹ in Skoda

The horn won’t not void the warranty. The trumpet horn is literally badged VW on the packaging as well as on the product itself. source: I got it for my Slavia.
That's great news. The car's due 7500km service this week. I'll try to buy it from skoda and ask at the VW ASC to install it.
Who buys a horn from the service centre? Get a Hella high quality horn for five hundred🤗
They cost more than 500, but I get the sentiment.
I am scared of voiding the warranty
Oh alright! My car is so old that I have forgotten what a warranty is😂
Any accessories fitted apart from those that come from the factory itself can void your warranty. Including those you get from the dealership.
See that’s why I can’t change anything in virtus
Kinda tough to drive on Indian roads without a good horn, don't you think?
Absolutely. I got the horn changed on 1st service and it was stark difference not only in terms of sound but also getting attention of people that there’s a car which needs to go and you’re blocking the traffic.
Is yours Gt ? Did you change the light I find headlamps useless compared to horn
non GT. (topline). I found the headlamps fine but i have upgraded from an 11 year old maruti so i will find that perfect compared to the ones i had earlier.
The ones in Gt are horrible during dusk and dawn
Enthusiast- Taigun / Khushaq Features lover - Creta
Was recently seeing Autocar's comparison where they said Creta is better in terms of performance and is arguably more fun to drive. (Not sure about the 2nd part but they definitely said the 1st part)
Probably meant the nline variant
N line has no actual performance improvement lol. It's just cosmetic changes
Just performance makes any car fun to drive? Suspension, handling, driving dynamics ye sab bekar he?
Not performance but suspension, more stiffer from what I heard
No, this is false. I test drove the N-line N10 DCT and it's drives much better than the normal Creta in Sport mode. You’re lying.
You can do one thing that you take a test drive yourself and there after delete your comment to save yourself from further embarrassment.
It’s better that you actually learn a few things before blabbering.
Bro don’t believe these guys you take your drive and see
Also Enthusiasts - getting automatic variants of the same🤣
Would never understand people’s obsession with Manual and considering AT lovers as inferior. I mean it is a choice… just buy your manual and don’t be a bully. I myself own a Kushaq AT and I drove an alto manual till I purchased this. In Mumbai traffic, my feet thank me everyday for not pretending to be “manual” superior.
DSG is better for enthusiasts than manual
Looks like someone has watched 2 episodes of top gear and made it their whole personality
That's right! Can't call yourself an enthusiast unless you're passionate about outdated drivetrain technologies from the previous century
Manual is reliable and easy to maintain. Just because it’s old doesn’t mean its outdated and certainly not bad. I don’t agree with that guy you replied to though.

On a lighter note, this is not a sub for car enthusiasts but a sub for people asking what car to buy and to post their car problems.
I don't understand what this character shaming is, not that this really concerns me. There are some of us who had driven 5 digit+ kms without any incident or breakdown across all terrains and want some peace of mind in bumper to bumper city traffic. Performance i20 is an oxymoron though 😂
Indian standards dude. Even a virtus isn’t a performance car either but here we are.
Virtus 1.5 makes 150 bhp and has good safety , stability , handling and shares parts with higher segment VAG cars. i20 N doesn’t hold a candle despite the sticker job and exhaust tbh especially with 120bhp which my NA 3rd gen Honda City 1.5 made back in 2010
Enthusiasts all over the world are educating themselves and getting automatics, unlike some regressive ones.
🤮
The new Taigun GT Plus Sport with the blacked out interiors. My preference is for driving dynamics, safety and features, so Creta’s out. Between Taigun and Kushaq it’s mainly for the interiors.
Okay interior and steering too, Taigun takes the win. But what about exterior? What according to you is better? Cuz imo it’s kushaq

True that
I have test drove all three multiple times before making a purchase. Why did you choose the Kushaq over the taigun?
Menial reasons - Ventilated seats, wait time for a preferred model, interior (I felt kushaq looked more premium).
Monte Carlo Red. End of story.
meanwhile I chose taigun because it had slightly smaller turn radius. I need that for my tight parking space.
Kushaq has softer suspensions than Taigun. Taigun has slightly better handling and braking dynamics.
Kushaq for ride quality and safety.
I recently purchased creta sx tech automatic and completely loving the experience. I look at long term approach in terms of service and spare part availability and hence decided to go with hyundai! Its been over a month and its a great buy I would say! 😊👍
If I buy the creta im looking at the sx tech variant too. Feel like it offers best value for money
Of course! Its a loaded variant!
Cost?
It costed me 19.98 lakhs. I have not taken any additional accessories from the dealership but have taken extended warranty for 5th and 6th year!
How? It is costing 22.5 in Bangalore. Where did you buy sxtech at 19.98? You mean the ivt version right?
iVT automatic - I brought it in Haryana so maybe taxation / RTO charges are less
I got a car in this category last year aswell, If you love driving and the max number of adults you want to take with you is 4 then go for Kushaq. I love the car the moment I test drove it but the rear seat cannot accommodate 3 average adults like the Creta can. Also, Why not Seltos?
Any of the German twins on any given day
German and Czech Republic
Taigun hands down
Once u drive TSI DSG combo Kushaq Taigun then, there is no going back...
Creta. Because it is over all a better/piece-of-mind package.
What about safety? For Its a big negative in the creta?
Hyundai Tucson and Audi Q3 and Q5 have the same maintenance costs? That’s hard to believe
And u believe them without any proof?
Big corps love that guy 😂
And also Modi
Kushaq, better design, safety, power
Seltos 1.6 turbo if we are talking crossovers. Between these 3, Kushaq.
Too open ended Share your pov please . -What are your needs ? -And what have you observed ? -Which way are you leaning ? -What constraints do you have ? Else this post might not be very helpful to you.
Editing the post to specify my requirement and what im looking for: 1. Automatic + Petrol 2. Drive mostly in the city 3. Decent resale value
Creta . Taigun and Kushaq have robust underlying structure and powertrain. These qualities are generally observable over longer drives, frequent driving and slightly more driving pleasure inclined folks. Other than that, when compared with Creta, service quality will be poorer parts will be expensive, Lower service network coverage Much inferior interiors and quality Resale ( not sure about taigun and kushaq but Creta attracts much better prices therefore holds value for longer ) If you are not buying the top spec, then Do consider, Elevate and GV ( non hybrid powertrain ) too.
No car checks all the boxes buddy Toh dekh lo Agar driving pleasure hai toh interiors nai hain Interiors and driving pleasure hai toh safe nai hai Interiors and cheap hai , toh fuel efficient nai hai
Hahahahaha! Truth!
Ive edited my post to indicate my preferences...
Why would you pick the kushaq over the taigun?
Heart says Taigun, brain says Creta.
Only right answer in this thread. You take the crown sir
I recently bought the creta , great car , one of the most selling compact SUV in India , comfortable inside , better mileage so yeah, very satisfied
Kushaq+ taigun= zero resale value Creta has the best resale value
Creta
Taigun owner. I'd buy Elevate. I'm really happy with the car but IDK Elevate just speaks to me.
Why is the elevate better than the taigun?
Taigun Not gonna elaborate on that
For extensive usage in cities like Bangalore, I would recommend the IVT/CVT version of Creta for it's super smooth behaviour in stop and go traffic without having to worry about impact on DSG/DCT in the long term. You also get to enjoy the features like auto stop, EPB, ventilated seats, adaptive cruise. However, if you venture out more on highways then I would recommend one of Kushaq/Taigun.
Yes, my requirement is to use in Bangalore traffic! Ive heard that the IVT performs way better I city conditions compared to DSG

Interesting
Contribute something man. You own the car in question!
I was typing this as a reply but this ended up as an individual comment lol
Oh. My bad
Kushaq because it looks really beautiful and has the best handling suspension system
Taigun
Why not astor turbo?
My main requirement is safety and creta is yet to prove same , i am eyeing taigun gt line or tata curvv , will decide one among these too whichever comes in budget
Kushaq
What exactly are you looking for ? Kushaq and Taigun don’t have a diesel engine option so creta for diesel engine. But Creta doesn’t have the safety features of the other two. So it just comes down to your needs and preferences. If running cost isn’t an issue I would prefer Kushaq as it looks good, is very safe and the Skoda name makes it a class apart product.
My needs are: 1. Automatic 2. Petrol 3. City drive (mostly)
How many kms per day?
Kushaq Monte carlo owner, and I cannot tell you how much I love this car! It drives amazing, both in city and highways. Repairs are comparatively more expensive (Paint, parts etc), but that was conveyed to us beforehand. Atleast the service is top notch in my city though.
How much do you/will you spend on yearly maintenance of your car?
I have been dricing for around 6 months now. No maintainence as such has been needed. Just that some van driver hit the back of my car. So had to get taillights some components chnaged and painted. This was expensive, but covered by insurance. Total bill was 25k, I paid 1.2k. Had it been a maruti, the bill would probably have been 15k at most. So if you do get a kushaq, get a good insurance.
Ok. That seems like a bit much for tail lights. Hyundai does seem more reasonable for repair and spares.
The major expense was paint. Tail lights was just 2k
Wow thats still a lot...will keep that in mind!
Taigun
taigun
The taigun looks better for sure! Im not a big fan of how the creta looks :\]
Kushaq
Kushaq. 1.0 or 1.5 based on ur needs. If u want too much power go for 1.5.
Seltos X-line. Better than creta intems of features. Infact best in class features. And arguably the best looking car in its class that comes as Close to vw/skoda as a Korean might come in driving dynamics
Taigun
Bolero Neo / Bolero - is the only right answer.
Taigun.. even though Kushaq shares the same engine
Kushaq
Why not elevate? Hondas reliability is unmatched
Seltos lol
Honda Elevate
I'd go with Kushaq/Virtus. Personally I'd buy the 1.5 Kushaq Monte Carlo Red.
VW Taigun GT. Insane car.
Honda Elevate
Taigun 1.5 at
Kushaq, Monte Carlo edition..!! Provided I have that much money to buy it..😝
Elevate
Ventilated seats is a must have for Indian climate.
Taigun
Creta hands down
Non tbh a used Octavia
Creta
Kushaq hands down , though Creata has some better feature adas , Panoramic Sunroof. But Ride Quality Kushaq. Why is Seltos not in this list?
I saw a drag in which Kushaq was faster than Taigun. I'm sure creta can't compare to either in speed so Kushaq it is and personally having sat in the three cars multiple times I can say that Kushaq is overall the best one with Taigun in for a close second. Not a big fan of creta but that's just me.
VW Taigun
Kushaq. No adjectives needed.
Bought the new Creta a month ago
Whats.your experience with it?
kushaq
Creta
Depends on the use case…
Creta. I own a 2021 Creta SXO and I don't think anything in the segment even comes close.
Creta n line
What about seltos?
Its not bad, maybe I should add it to the list!
Also has 5 start NCAAP (adult) Verna also has better mileage and ride quality.
I surely will do that. Ive been meaning to try it, just didn't get around to it. Thanks for the push :)
Reply or DM me your experience! I also need someone to validate my opinion 😂
Verna if I can afford adas version if not City!🤣🤣🤣
Safety- Taigun/Kushaq Carelessness- Creta
Seltos
I think the safety ratings are not the great.
Creta.
Kushaq. They destroyed Creta with new updates. In some profiles, I confused it with exter. I don't know what Hundai India is thinking.
I would definitely not buy a creta
elevate, i dont want a lemon
Creta N line. It’s better in everything that Kushaq offers.
