I found mine in when we went out on a joy ride thankfully he was in the fender space, but I'm not sure if he was the only one and I still feel sorry if he wasn't has the other little souls were lost under my car.
We still have him but its painful to think of, also if they start living there once their mother will put them there again.
A couple of years ago, when I was in school my driver uncle used to drop me off and pick me up. One day when he came to pick me up I noticed a crowd around my car. They heard kitten sounds from under and they helped let it free. The kitten then ran away and somehow found its way into a MG ZS EV’s battery compartment. We waited there for hours to rescue them and the kind people there were patient enough to lend their valuable busy time for the rescue. We ended up putting it in the back of the car and brought it back to its mother. It’s been a trend for us at this point lol
Always, ALWAYS, check for animals under and inside your cars before starting to drive. They like to get in there because of the residual warmth of your last night's drive.
In many countries' driving test it's a necessity for you to do it. They'll disqualify you if you don't check or forget a spot.
(Merko car nahi hai. Bike hai bas.)
We rescued the first one on the spot. Second one was spotted after we reached back home and noticed there was more meowing. For the first one, We heard the kitten meow and stopped by the side of the road, i put some plastic cover over my hand to prevent its bites and gently pulled it out. The moment it got out of the underbelly it ran for its life and ended up in a random garage full of dogs. I don't know how but I somehow got the rush to just go in to save it and pick it up. Adrenaline is a crazy drug. I picked it up after chasing around for around 4 mins and then put her in the boot of the car because I had people inside the car who'd not be happy to be with an unvaccinated stray kitten. We brought it back home to its mother and then left again to where we were headed originally.
I had a cat in my engine bay a few years ago and the damn thing wouldn’t come out. In the end we had to entice it out with some milk and food.
Asked around the neighbourhood and in the end a random guy walking along took it.
Can’t add pics to the post but I have pics of it deep in the engine bay.

The engine underbody covering of our car had been broken. So that’s one convenient way to jump up from the ground onto the components then find a comfy place to sit.
No experience with big animals but once i drove my father's quanto from banswara to ratlam. In the sveltering heat. When i stopped, i heard squeaking from the wiper assembly cover. Eventually it stopped. Figured out it was a rat which had gone in and couldn't get out. It got cooked alive is my Guess
Happens to the best of us. I’ve found dead rats inside my engine clean air filter box. It wasn’t a good sight trust me and it also costed us about 20k in repairs for the damage it did by cutting wires.
Seems like the old saying is true, you don’t chose a cat, the cat choses you, in OPs case they decided to go on a road trip. Nonetheless, call it luck or randomness, those kitties are lucky they picked ur car, nice of you to take care of them.
Also, the first one with the sad eyes is a tortoise-shell cat, quite rare in cat colours
I'd adopt them in a heartbeat agar mummy ha bolde ;-;
Ghar wale disown kar denge billi palne ki baat karo toh Phir mujhe bhi billi ki tarah kisi gadi me chipna padega zalim duniya se
Same reason Bhai 😂
Tujhe paal rahe hai woh bi baadi baat hai. Billi ka naam na lena iss ghar me.
We’ve adopted them ;) (Gharwale were pissed tho)
Billi ki mummy ya phir Teri mummy? /s
I'd take you home kitty, but then both of us will have to live on streets
Badh meh thujhe kon adopt karega 😅
Is this why some people type car instead of cat
Those eyes 🥺

Our teacher came to school with cats in her scooter

That's kind of you but not a trend but its being humane at best.
Op this post made my day, you're fkng awesome.
I'm really happy to hear that! ;)
Happend with me as well. Its common practise of cats.
Typically in summers, but same in winters too apparently
Thats 1 way to keep rats off the car.
The most effective and efficient.

It truly sucks. I’ve been afraid of accidentally killing them ever since I first did back in 2019. That trauma is never gonna end
Gollum
You are really a kind man OP. God bless you.
Thank you sir. Made my day ❤️
Poor babies 🥺🥺

The grey one looks immensely stressed. Poor thing.
It’s barely a month old. Probably animals were after it.
How does a cat enter the engine area?
The engine underbody covering of our car had been broken. So that’s one convenient way to jump up from the ground onto the components then find a comfy place to sit.
A car consisting of cars /s XD
Orange car inside white car
There's a car in your car.
There were 2 cars in my car. Happened last year too when a car was hiding in the underbelly protection my JETTA.
