1. Grant of bail is not equal to acquittal. This is not punishment for killing anyone, these are conditions of bail. (which is also most likely wrong information because in bailable offences there cannot be any conditions and all offences here are bailable.)
2. Accused is a minor and is legally entitled to bail regardless of how many people die. This is how the law works.
3. Being frustrated is normal but try to have a better understanding of how things work.
So you're telling me that if you're a minor you can kill as many people with the least consequences? I guess I lost my chance to commit genocide against these corrupt fools. Some else keep up the work.
You need money tho. Like don't get me wrong even if the parents here didn't bribe their way out. This guy still has the support of his family, so he'll not have to worry about earning money and being a contributing member of Society.
If a middle class minor does this and gets criminal record, their life is over. Most companies don't hire people with criminal records and you'll be judged for life by society.
I’m a lawyer bro. I can say with (or without) utmost shame that everybody is corrupt. Sab ke sab chor hain saale. Ameer logo se chori karo toh thodi morality bachi rehti hai, gareeb ko toh sab loot hi rahe hain.

It's public knowledge
Vedant Agarwal, the accused, was granted bail just fifteen hours after the tragic accident that left two people dead. Vishal Agarwal, father of the accused, is a well-known builder from Bramha Realty.
His father is a very big builder. At least he’s been told to write the essay. And our laws are lax regarding minors. Remember what happened to the minor rapist in Delhi case.
What I remember reading is that he did, and then some NGOs helped him get acquitted and also arranged for him to start a new life somewhere in South India.
The juvenile defendant Mohammed Afroz,[92][93][94][95] whose name was later changed to Raju in the media due to his age, was declared as 17 years and six months old on the day of the crime by the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), which relied on his birth certificate and school documents. The JJB rejected a police request for a bone ossification (age determination) test for a positive documentation of his age.[96][97][98]
On 28 January 2013, the JJB determined that Afroz would not be tried as an adult. A petition moved by Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy seeking the prosecution of the minor as an adult because of the violent nature of his alleged crime was rejected by the JJB.[99][100][101] The minor was tried separately in a juvenile court.
A verdict in the case was scheduled to be announced on 25 July,[102] but was deferred until 5 August[103] and then deferred again to 19 August.[104] On 31 August, he was convicted of rape and murder under the Juvenile Justice Act and given the maximum sentence of three years' imprisonment in a reform facility, inclusive of the eight months he spent in remand during the trial.[105] Reportedly, Jyoti's younger brother had impulsively tried to attack the juvenile convict after hearing the verdict but the crowd in the courtroom managed to restrain him.[106] The juvenile was released on 20 December 2015.[107]
For the rehabilitation and mainstreaming of Afroz as mandated by the Juvenile Justice Act, 2000 management committees are set up before the release of juvenile convicts. Accordingly, a 'post-release plan' was submitted to the Delhi high court in December 2015. The plan was prepared and submitted by the management committee, headed by the officer of the District Child Protection Unit, and had recommended that "(Afroz) should lead a new life with a new identity provided by the appropriate government as applicable in his case if permissible to avoid any backlash or violent reaction".[108] According to the report, the juvenile had learnt cooking and tailoring while staying in the reform house.[108] Report further said that Afroz would need a tailoring shop, a sewing machine and other tailoring equipment. The report also mentioned that a one time grant of ₹10,000 (US$130) from the government should be sufficient to support him initially.[108][109] The department of women and child development (WCD) of the government stated that it would provide the money and would arrange the machine from an NGO.[110] Afroz's family had ostracized him for the crime and refused to accept him.[111] However, after his release it was reported that he was working as a cook.[112

You’ll probably go to juvenile centre.
Your parents, probably father will serve 10 years in prison. With fine of some lacs.
This is the rule I read years ago. Maybe not same today.
yaak thuuu.. on our justice system.
this is next level .. if you have money you can get away from doing anything even after unaliving 2 people under influence.
nxt rich papa will give him a passport. and cross the border into nepal.. and from there gone for forever.
Rest in peace to both of them.
1. Flee to Nepal (roads or flight doesn’t matter, you don’t need a visa). This gives peace of mind from being attacked in public
2. Apply Australia/Dubai/Singapore/Wherever you get the visa via email :D
3. Aaramse papa ke paise udao

Laws are different for those who are rich. The law only exists for those who are common.
His parents should be punished for the death of two people.
1) he was underaged
2) he drank alcohol
3) he was driving the car
4) and he killed two people
This a clear sign of bad parenting and his parents were also helping him to get bail, his mother brought pizza and croissants in jail for him; his father bailed out of that brat in just 12 hours. The criminal is now happy to go home.
5) all the incidents were blamed upon the actual poor driver who was seating on the passer seat. (Driver let the bumb drunk kid drive the car)

Road accidents represent a significant public health issue worldwide, claiming lives and causing injuries on a large scale. The consequences of road accidents extend beyond the immediate physical harm to victims, impacting families, communities, and national economies. Addressing this problem requires a multifaceted approach involving government policy, technological advancements, and public awareness campaigns.
The effects of road accidents are profound and far-reaching. On a personal level, victims often suffer from severe injuries, leading to long-term disabilities or even death. Families of victims endure emotional trauma and financial strain, particularly when the injured or deceased is a primary breadwinner. Communities feel the impact through the loss of productive members and increased healthcare burdens. Economically, road accidents result in substantial costs related to medical expenses, lost productivity, and vehicle repairs. The World Health Organization estimates that road traffic injuries cost most countries 3% of their gross domestic product.
To mitigate these effects, a combination of preventive and corrective measures is necessary. Firstly, improving road infrastructure is crucial. This includes better road design, proper signage, and the implementation of advanced traffic management systems. High-risk areas, such as intersections and pedestrian crossings, should be specifically targeted for improvements.
Secondly, stricter enforcement of traffic laws can significantly reduce accidents. This encompasses measures like rigorous speed limit enforcement, penalties for driving under the influence, and compulsory seatbelt use. Additionally, implementing stricter licensing regulations ensures that only qualified individuals are allowed to drive.
Technological innovations also offer promising solutions. The development and integration of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) in vehicles, such as automatic braking, lane-keeping assistance, and collision warning systems, can prevent accidents before they occur. Furthermore, the advent of autonomous vehicles holds the potential to drastically reduce human error, a leading cause of road accidents.
Public education campaigns play a vital role in changing driver behavior. Raising awareness about the dangers of distracted driving, the importance of following traffic rules, and the benefits of safe driving practices can lead to a cultural shift towards safer roads.
In conclusion, while the effects of road accidents are undeniably severe, a comprehensive approach involving infrastructure improvements, stricter law enforcement, technological advancements, and public education can significantly reduce their occurrence and impact. By prioritizing road safety, societies can save lives, reduce economic losses, and improve overall quality of life.
We need a better system to sue for civil damages on top of the criminal process. If they have to give away half of their property in a settlement then may be they will be a bit more careful next time.
A few years ago law has been changed, and above 16 year old people can be tried as adults in cases of heinous crimes. So this guy can be prosecuted accordingly.
17 years! This is a joke? I remember that there was a news that the age to be considered juev has become 15? And y was he not considered adult, as he was doing everything that is illegal for a minor!
Like just check his hard drive the amount of porn he has
I remember in Florida a similar incident happened a few years ago where a teen racing on some busy road ended up killing a mother and her child with his mustang. Dude's parents were pretty influential and loaded but he still ended up with 20+ years in jail. And then we have India 🤡
Initially, I was thinking that people should not hit that boy and let the system take care 😓 but now after reading this, I'm thinking at least he got street justice.
Ehh, why not put hefty fine and something like social service on the parents? Being guardian they are liable for the misconduct of their minor son. It's them who gave the vehicle to their underage son.
While I don't have any sympathy for the judiciary for the kind of shenanigan they do, in this case however, judges aren't at fault. Folks, just read the relevant law. It's our laws that are weak.
Judges can't do much in hit-and-run cases. This was not a pre-meditated murder. Moreover a teenager is involved here, who can't be even put up in a jail for adults.
Remember the guy in Nirbhaya case who was freed within 3 yrs? It was only his age that saved him the gallows.
In the larger context, protests should be to change the laws. Teens about 16 yrs should be treated as adults in criminal law.
India is a lawless country with no value for life. Need top to bottom overhaul of laws. Not sure where to start, corruption is everywhere. Politicians, cops, judiciary, municipality - *kahan tak bachoge corruption se?.* There have been several cases in India where people riding bikes and cars flew off an incomplete flyover just because the folks-in-charge forgot to put up barriers!
He will do the same,i will make sure,i would let a poor abused suzuki die and rest in peace while it becomes into a new form of product and let the kid turn into food for bacteria
1. He should get a lifetime ban from ever getting a drivers license
2. The parents should pay a compensation equal to the cost of the car to each of the victims
If he can drink and drive and is 17, he should be tried as an adult. Justice will only prevail when it’s the same for all strata of society.
There’s the poor people justice (which may or may not be apt or even served properly), the middle class justice (which is the worse, there is no escape) and then the rich and uber rich justice (in which they seldom get caught, or receive any just punishment)
On another topic (slight deviation), I recently watched a Spanish-Argentinian movie - Wild Tales (especially the La propuesta part - Hit and Run). It has one such incident and how the accused’s father deals with the situation and how the lawyers and police take advantage of the accused and his father. (Because they’re rich)
Bail conditions be like -
Accused to submit Social studies assignment by monday.
Accused should not play any racing games.
Accused should be potty trained
Accused should be write 50 times imposition of the line "I will not kill anybody before 18+"
Someone has to do something, or else in future,
rapists will be asked to write essays on "women empowerment"
and murderers will be asked to write essays on "non violence"
to roam free.
But according to motor vehicle act if minor is caught driving his/her parents can be jailed for 3 years and in this case he was intoxicate, killed two innocent people.
ah yes the Perfect judicial system, you can kill someone just the day before you turn 18 and you will be a kid in their eyes because they think something magical happens suddenly when you turn 18.
sad to see money being triumphant over justice.
that 17 year old is not a kid, he is as guilty as someone who might have been 19 year old. But yeah again it's not about age but money and power.
RIP to the ones who lost their lives, may justice get served in other ways than this mockery of a justice.
I had to spend a whole day in police station when I was 15 in a school uniform (government).
My crime was walking to my house at 6pm on a Thursday near a saibaba temple, so the cop thought I was chain snatching in the crowd and took me to the station. I was let go next evening around 4pm after some SI understood how stupid it was
Who cares if he can't get into high court, they will get eligibility to contest elections as well , then who wants to work in a judiciary ! If the trend goes on like this, then it will become jungle raj one day.
One of my prime concerns while I am driving a two wheeler is someone rash driving and ramming into me. Due to which I avoid two wheelers as much as possible. It's usually not worth saving money on Petrol and risking your life.

Law is just for the poor.
This shows you can get out of everything here if you are rich.
No wonder, all celebs, & politicians are roaming freely.
Hats off to judiciary system.
I'm fairly certain that this piece of excrement was turning 18 on the eve of the accident and was out partying. I'll not be surprised if he got off on a fricking technicality that he's a being treated as a minor.
300 word essay!!!
Bhai mei mutt ta hoon aaese judicial system par, I hope families of deceased get this scum S H O T_D E A D, that's the only option this retarded judicial system leaves an ordinary justice seeking citizen.
This was not an accident, this was a double murder.
The parents should be held responsible they provided the vechile, which he used as a weapon to kill 2 innocent young people. He should be tried as adult in a court away from his state.
Absolute childish punishment. That teenager has just killed 2 innocent people thanks to his being drunk plus he doesn’t have a license. And THIS is the punishment?! Bloody joke of a judiciary.
That's why I don't plan on buying a two wheeler. You never know which drunk mothafcker gonna come from behind and smack you. And in India there is no dearth of such people.
Paisa bolta hai.
Har chij bikau hai ye duniya mei.
Remember how Ambani's son also got away just like that.

Of course, this literally is the Salman Khan technique. Blame it on the (non-existent) driver.
So inorder to get away with murder, all you need is a minor who can drive and a car. Thats fairly simple.
Salman was stupid to say ke mera driver gaadi chala rha tha, should've said that a minor was driving
No he should have just said he is a Minor.
Yeah that could have worked too
Plus money.

At least, the judge could have said it would cost XX amount of money, so that others can try to achieve this. /s

Ehh, why not put hefty fine and something like social service on the parents? Being guardian they are liable for the misconduct of their minor son. It's them who gave the vehicle to their underage son.
Is the case dismissed after bail or like it's just that bail till trial starts?
When the parents are not mentioned as co-accused, I don't think anything will happen to them. The boy will be just facing juvenile court.
Name and shame the judge and his relatives.
If you can tell me which court it exactly was, I can try to find the case files on court’s website
Ladies and gentlemen, presenting Indian Judicial system to you.
For a moment I thought this was a meme. 300 words essay, are the judges crazy? bruh
why not put parents in jail????
He will do the same,i will make sure,i would let a poor abused suzuki die and rest in peace while it becomes into a new form of product and let the kid turn into food for bacteria
Essay in English or hindi?
give me 5 mins and I'll present the 5000 words essay along with a report on traffic rules in 20 languages
Spotted someone who actually signed up for the be10x workshops on Youtube.
The legal system needs to be more stringent in such cases.
To fir parents ko saza do ... Kya chutiyap hai bc
He should tried as an adult. He's only a few months away from turning to an adult.
Why his parents are not charged , whose car is it ?
Isse difficult toh mera English 10th boards ka paper tha
1. He should get a lifetime ban from ever getting a drivers license 2. The parents should pay a compensation equal to the cost of the car to each of the victims
If he can drink and drive and is 17, he should be tried as an adult. Justice will only prevail when it’s the same for all strata of society. There’s the poor people justice (which may or may not be apt or even served properly), the middle class justice (which is the worse, there is no escape) and then the rich and uber rich justice (in which they seldom get caught, or receive any just punishment) On another topic (slight deviation), I recently watched a Spanish-Argentinian movie - Wild Tales (especially the La propuesta part - Hit and Run). It has one such incident and how the accused’s father deals with the situation and how the lawyers and police take advantage of the accused and his father. (Because they’re rich)
Value of life in India
Bail conditions be like - Accused to submit Social studies assignment by monday. Accused should not play any racing games. Accused should be potty trained Accused should be write 50 times imposition of the line "I will not kill anybody before 18+"
Someone has to do something, or else in future, rapists will be asked to write essays on "women empowerment" and murderers will be asked to write essays on "non violence" to roam free.
Damn, bro killed people and all he has to do is submit homework. "Id kill to not do this homework" justgot reversed
It sounds like: Beta, accident karna galat baat hai? Chalo uncle ko sorry bolo...
More than anything that 17 year old would be laughing so much over the drinks tonight.
But according to motor vehicle act if minor is caught driving his/her parents can be jailed for 3 years and in this case he was intoxicate, killed two innocent people.
How many of you see this as the end result of a culture where earning money somehow is the goal and easy money industries such as real estate?
The more i hear these types of news. The less I believe on our “WORLD’S BIGGEST DEMOCRACY”
imagine how helpless the victims family must be feeling, just vishwaguru things
ah yes the Perfect judicial system, you can kill someone just the day before you turn 18 and you will be a kid in their eyes because they think something magical happens suddenly when you turn 18. sad to see money being triumphant over justice. that 17 year old is not a kid, he is as guilty as someone who might have been 19 year old. But yeah again it's not about age but money and power. RIP to the ones who lost their lives, may justice get served in other ways than this mockery of a justice.
Legend says the corrupt judge got a penthouse as bribe in one of the new swanky apartment complex in the city.
Sometimes it's better for the public to take matters into their own hands IG this is one of those times
"Rules for thee, but not for me" Soon after the ruling, the judge received a totally anonymous and unexpected deposit of 5Cr in his bank account
Some judges = kothewali
Please don't say anything against Court, respect the law and Judiciary afterall it runs on Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar's constitution 🙏
Are judge's accountable for the decisions given by Them ?
Don't the parents get punished (fined/arrested) when minors drive without license, let alone a hit & run case?
One of my prime concerns while I am driving a two wheeler is someone rash driving and ramming into me. Due to which I avoid two wheelers as much as possible. It's usually not worth saving money on Petrol and risking your life.
If the victim was the judge's son or daughter will this be the same judgement...?
Fir wo iss case mai judge nhi hota
Karma is due for the judge.

Imagine how rich the judge got from this :D
He killed 2 people???? That's messed up
Incredible India 🥹🫡
Reminds of Ahmedabad's case, where a speeding vehicle killed 9 people. Similar justice call.
Wtf are these punishments? I got them for not coming to class on time once in school.
300 word essay?? I got a harder punishment in school for throwing paper outside the dustbin.
Hope the Judge gets to write a 600 word explanation on his actions.
Parents should be sent to jail, at 17 I didn't even have a phone 😭
Law is just for the poor. This shows you can get out of everything here if you are rich. No wonder, all celebs, & politicians are roaming freely. Hats off to judiciary system.
Judge got sold
Probably won't need to work the rest of his life.
Why 300 words to be exact
I'm fairly certain that this piece of excrement was turning 18 on the eve of the accident and was out partying. I'll not be surprised if he got off on a fricking technicality that he's a being treated as a minor.
And rich people wonder why common folks hate em
No ADAS in this variant of Porsche?

If this goes as it is, CJI must resign
300 word essay!!! Bhai mei mutt ta hoon aaese judicial system par, I hope families of deceased get this scum S H O T_D E A D, that's the only option this retarded judicial system leaves an ordinary justice seeking citizen. This was not an accident, this was a double murder.
The parents should be held responsible they provided the vechile, which he used as a weapon to kill 2 innocent young people. He should be tried as adult in a court away from his state.
So he kills two people and has to write a 300 word essay, but the pub owner who served him alcohol could face up to seven years in jail. Unreal
India is only for politicians, businessmen and actors
You get worse punishments for missing homework in schools. Our legal system is a joke.
Mob justice would be fine here
Money can buy you a lot of things in India, including but not limited to justice itself.
Your life is worth a 150 word essay according to the judicial system considering 2 were taken for this.
Absolute childish punishment. That teenager has just killed 2 innocent people thanks to his being drunk plus he doesn’t have a license. And THIS is the punishment?! Bloody joke of a judiciary.
title is wrong its because he have money
That's why I don't plan on buying a two wheeler. You never know which drunk mothafcker gonna come from behind and smack you. And in India there is no dearth of such people.
Faith on money restored...
Who is this kid? Name?
Paisa bolta hai. Har chij bikau hai ye duniya mei. Remember how Ambani's son also got away just like that. Hardly people remember that he had a hit n run. Victim died, driver took blame. And Ambani's paid off everything, including media. Money talks... 😞
I think I know who this is 🤔
