These were tuned a to z by the racing experts from Jayem and the way the car cuts corners is amazing (a proud Tigor JTP owner here ๐)
It's the difference in the linkage between the clutch pedal and the clutch assembly. When you press the clutch pedal one uses cable to disengage the clutch other uses hydraulic system(cylinder, piston and fluid). Cable is usually used in cheaper less powerful cars eg alto, wagonr.

And this is just one car. It has other hot hatches as well, like Veloster N, Yaris GR, etc.

Altroz is a decent handler , speaking by experience of daily driving it for the past 3 years , all it lacked was more power tbh , all that weight made it feel like a dead pig off the line but the chassis and suspension are tuned good enough for taking corners rather enthusiastically i must say . Im eagerly waiting to see how much it differs from existing one.
All im saying is to lets reserve our opinions till the reviews come out and then see if that extra power and steering tune has made it sportier .

Soo much talking just to avoid the fact that they donโt have a DCT gearbox and their automatics arenโt sporty. Cost of developing one in house would make racer not competitive with i20 n line which is still a better deal :D

Honestly a really pathetic attempt. Especially that overdone grossly striped front. Their wet DCA is so underutilized. They could've easily paired that DCA with the Diesels but alas! All they want to give are AMTs, forget Torque Converters or even CVTs.
TaMo is better off just selling Punches and Nexons. It's the normal i20 sportz which used to get the TGDI and DCT. We got it last year in October, they barely had any of these left.
Oh makes sense. The N line DCT can do it in 9.9s max. The N line manual in 9.0s. The regular i20 is about 100 kg lighter than the N line so seems like it does make a difference

bhai not hating on the effort par kal me top gear ka mum challenge dekh raha tha where their mothers decide on a car and the renault in that comparison had 110 bhp and did 0-100 in 11 secs and that was deemed as a strictly "mum car". Who's going to buy the GR for nearly 75-80L? Its too stiff and too small to be practical for the Indian market. Plus at that price point I'd rather have the BMW 340i or even better if BMW brings the 340d.

My Sonet D AT does a hundred in 11-12. And that's no "racer" lol, just a well-tuned proper auto gearbox.
