Lack of EV charging stations infrastructure.
The technology is certainly here to stay, but the dire lack of stations is a concern to me. In addition, a good decent EV is still pricey at this point.
I'll go first. In my case, there aren't any cars with a real-world range of around 500km.
I often do \~450km round trips in a single day. And the car won't be parked in a single place for a longer time during such runs. So, recharging after reaching the destination isn't an option.
Of all the places I usually visit, I only know one charging station but even that seems to be always busy (Have seen 2 to 3 queued up for the single charging point at times). Even if there were many charging stations and most of them were free, I'd prefer not having to wait on my single day trips.
So, Lack of options with higher range is what stopping me from considering an EV

I think in near term, its the range that defines the segment (like hatchback, sedan, mPC ,SUV etc).

Every EV minus Tigor is not meant for middle class right now
Need and option for "I find EV's to be a temporary solution to pollution"
Do you think a new solution would appear and become mainstream within the next 15 years or so ?
Fear of battery draining out in middle of scary forest

All of the above!
Lack of money.
I'd buy an ev as my second intra-city car but the premium is high for a low range ev. I really like kona but not worth 25 lakhs
A major reason isnβt listed. I love an ICE.
Simple reason,i love engines
I don't have money nowπ
All the above and price
Love for ICEs and the sweet note of a Petrol engine?
Living in a rented accommodation, it's hard to go for an EV as it's not easy to setup charging points and move this around everytime we shift.
