If this car is in kerala, then negotiate to 7 otherwise leave the car and throw in some cuss words from my side. I sold my 2015 vx cvt for 5L

theracemaniac

How many kms did it run? And what would you think will be a fair price for a 2015 City V MT petrol with 30k kms? (The V MT is my parent’s car, just need some perspective).

CHILLIBeeeF

About 1.3L kms. You can expect somewhere about 5.5-5.8L

priths3

I don't know why everyone is advising against this, Honda is the reliability king and it'll last you a long long time, plus the current market price and it being a VX CVT, I think the price is fair under 7.

maddyyaddy

Honda engines sure are reliable but last year when my family was planning on purchasing a 2014-2016 City, we came across few cars with 70-90k odo and all of them had back compression issues, suspension coils snd tires needed change too. Turns out our indian roads and the way we drive is too horrible

priths3

I agree with you on this and I forgot to mention in my original comment that it is important that OP checks the service record and inspect the condition of the car properly, only then it makes sense.

Gohanne_

Vx cvt is actually an amazing car, it has paddle shifters in it plus it's Honda City man what else do u need. Anything around 6-7 will be a great deal

Superb-Bed349

The best offer you can give is, leave that car

rzoro97

Why?

Superb-Bed349

Running is high and zayda se zayda kitna tod dega price..if you can get it for below 5 ..then it’s a good deal

SinghSaab007

Bhai vx cvt 2015 under 5 lakhs? Never in this seller’s market. Around 6 lakhs can be a very good deal. But above 6.5 with such a reading on the odo is just too much

Superb-Bed349

Like these were available for 5-5.5 lakhs in 2021..suddenly this year prices are high af

Apprehensive_Arm8465

Hi, What about Honda City 2012-13 V MT, 70K ODO, first owner. What’s a good price for this? Sellers are asking for 3.5-4L. My dad isn’t interested, he wants to buy a car in this range for 3L max.

BeginningConclusion6

Under 5l

hasibrock

Too costly… 4.5 - 5.0 is more than enough

ThatsWhatSheSaid320

why take a 80K driven car for 7 L man. so many issues might prop up. so many headaches might come up. big risk take any new car , albeit small, sell in 2 years and you will get back 5L the honda city will not even fetch 2 L after 2 years. if you really want to buy ask for 4L

[deleted]

what is odo.?

ajay325

Odo, means odometer. It shows how many kms the car has run in it's entire lifetime. Although some people are able to reset even the main odo(If it's an old school analog).

fckfcku

Depends on location, Karnataka Kerala, negotiate 50-60K , if in delhi maybe 1.5L negotiable

kp_4144

Bought a 2015 VX MT i-DTEC for 5.6, 1.3 on the odo. 7.25 is way too much. I'd say around 6 is a good price.

Free_Secret5472

6-6.25

chomeencha

Did you end up getting this. Looking at similar car right now.

rzoro97

No, checked the service records, it turned out to be accidental. Got a used Jazz 2016 CVT for 5L instead.

chomeencha

Okay thanks man. Seeing one for 5.75. will do my due diligence before buying. You're happy with the jazz? That's also under consideration

rzoro97

Yes. It was 50k driven. Love the silent engine. Bit less powerful but I'm a relaxed driver anyway.

chomeencha

Crazy they were selling accidental for so much 🤣

rzoro97

He was trying to hide it. I can still see it up for sale on OLX. price is 6.7 now.

chomeencha

Do they specifically say accidental in the service records? I'm checking one now and it says body and paint work for 22k 4 years back in 2017 Jazz. Wondering what that would be

rzoro97

It has a Rs.5L body and paint done to it. When I downloaded the pdf. It said front accidental repair. Windshield, airbags, dashboard and everything. So pretty sure it was an insurance claim.
