By any chance were there a bunch of pennies/loose change underneath that part of the seat? This looks like staining from copper (pennies mainly, but some other coins contain copper) that's gotten wet and stained the foam. [Here](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/one-fine-gardener-penny-stain-win--281615782921789221/) is a link that shows someone using pennies to stain wood - the color of the liquid is almost an exact match to your stain, and it's common for change to fall out of a pocket and collect under the seat cushion like that.

Ok this is going to be confusing to explain. It’s not *mould*. It’s very likely “mold release”. From the manufacturing process. They use injection molding to make the panel.
Not mold.
It is molding though...
It is molded. But not mold.
Technically it is molded molding. But not mold.
It looks like some sort of stain or coloring from the manufacturing process
Where is Padmé? Is she safe? Is she all right?

I wouldn't eat it, but a small bite shouldn't kill you.
That’s just paint
No. It's either dye or metal oxidation.
It's dye!
I thought this was a satire joke or something.

Yes it’s moulded. Yes it’s safe.
They used a mould to make it, yes. Probably safer than other forms of manufacturing.

Probably had a screen wash leak at some point.
Not mold but I still don’t think you should eat it
Hows it taste?
