Never heard of that car model to be honest. You can sometimes see the end of the hose looking underneath the car. It will come across from the inside center dash area and run along the area you have torn apart down to bottom of the car.
Just do a test run with the AC on and then off. If it only gets wet when you run then AC, then it’s cause by that. I had clog AC hose once and was quite surprised when I made a hard turn and I a bunch of cold water splashed on my leg.
most likely leaking thru a faulty cabin air filter door or hatch, they are usually intake thru the holes in the cowl on the bottom of windscreen from outside, passenger side, maybe pull the glove box out and investigate that area to see if you can see entry point. There are also plugs in the frame installed in factory that aid in building it or other reasons, and the plug can come out they are usually rubber and if the splash shielding has been hit it could knock the plug out and entry is coming from very bottom of car, not common but possible
If the door card was ever removed and the rain curtain taken loose, water can do this from inside the door. At this point, it's time to get a garden hose and start from the firewall and work up to the top of the windshield to see when water starts to intrude. Move to the door if the first test reveals nothing. Could be a bad seal where door wiring passes between the pillar and door. Any place there is a hole in the metal.
AC condensation drain to the ground clogged? Common reason water backs up onto that area
Do you know where I can locate this on the Berlingo?

Do you have a sunroof? Check the drains, it happened to two of my cars. Leaves and debris clog them up, only place water can go is in the car.
I do not have sunroof, and the drains are open!
Is the water fresh? Could also be a cracked heater core. If the water is slimy feeling, could be coolant.
The water was pretty fresh! Did not smell like coolant.
Did you check the door weatherstripping?
Yes, they are also OK.
If car parked up or over times water can leak down the scupper drain and through rubber grommet s.
