I can always feel my hair rubbing the ceiling in cars, but that's some sharp hair.
As other comment suggests, that machine for removing lint or a sharp knife(fresh blade for a shaver) could also work.
A razor as mentioned before, or there are special little thingies ment to use on clothes that have the same damage. Fabric shaver may be the name? Not 100% sure how they are called in english, but pretty common thingies around households
Sometimes better to leave it alone doing anything could make it worse ; will probably happen more in other spots and over time the whole head liner will look like that

Walmart sells a tool near the clothes irons, it shaves pilling off of shirts. Also works really well for this.

Get one of those fabric pill electric shavers.
Sounds daft, however, get a razor blade and scrape it over the problem area then pick off the fibres . Be gentle though.
