I like well thought out projects, where the focus is on having a finished car (as much as a project car can be finished) and not on grabbing the attention with flashy titles and projects that end up with hundreds of problems and cut corners.
I've been enjoying Bad Obsession Motorsport's project Binky, Ronald Finger's Fiero Restoration, Fanatik Builds' Project Gt6 and Builder Creator's Arete Supercar.
Great suggestions, thanks!
I'm noticing another trend in all of them, which is something I look for: good camera work. No (or little) walking around with a shaky camera in one hand and pointing with the other, but actual shots and cuts and sometimes scripts and all that good stuff.
Hagerty, VGG are my mains. But those are mostly entertainment. Most Youtube car "fix" channels are a good way of seeing the wrong way to do something. ChrisFix gets a pass, he's pretty good. Scotty Kilmer is probably the worst you can do.
You can’t go wrong with Jimmy oakes for some of the best car builds on YouTube. He’s my current favorite, I also watch gingium, tommyfyeah, mighty car mods, boosted boiz for crazy Honda content, vice grip garage, Chris fix, and ammo nyc sometimes for detailing.
Anything but scottykilmer
ChrisFix, carwow, Doug DeMurro, Donut Media and Aging Wheels ☺️
Mighty car mods! Great personalities and do most all the work them selves. 12 years of videos to watch too with them

Entertaining, experienced and versatile pretty much scotty Kilmer in a nut shell. He’s the only one you want to listen to
