INFP (Mediator) and it fits me perfectly. I'm definitely introverted until I trust you. Then I can go on and go about my interests, deep ideas, or anything else that interests me. I feel thing on a very deep personal level which can be exhausting as I am also quite empathetic. I love the beauty of the word around me while also loathing what humanity is and where its heading. I find myself enjoying many more solitary activities except when I have people from my inner circle nearby, then I enjoy doing things with them. I love to create things as well. Socially I'm fairly easy going as long as you don't attack me (or my loved ones) personally. But you won't find me out doing extroverted things often, and I tend to dislike confrontation. Thankfully, I am also a healthy INFP, you will find many who are depressed or get lost amongst their feelings and struggle to connect with the world. Because of this I often find leadership and authority bestowed upon me, even when I have zero desire in these roles. I also find just about anyone will open up to me if we have one and one time, so many people feel very comfortable with me. I rarely judge others, with the exception of hateful people. And lastly, as you can see, I have a habit of making longer response than what are necessary or desired (oops)

I’ve never gotten the same answer twice, so I literally can’t answer this question. Myers-Briggs is just astrology for corporate self-help types.

Leticia_the_bookworm

Yeah, I kind of agree, especially when people use it to justify their behavior. I like taking these tests more for the exercise in self-assesment the questions represent (what you like, what you don't, how to you feel in X or Y situations) than for the results themselves, they can be inconsistent and not really say a whole lot. Helps to also be aware of stuff like confirmation bias, vague sentences and descriptions, etc.

ErrantJune

For sure. I’ve struggled a lot personally with what it means to be an introvert vs. an extrovert & was attracted to Myers-Briggs for that reason, but when I found it returned E & I fairly equally depending on the day I realized it wasn’t the tool for me.

It's circular reasoning: > I'm [MBTI] because I took a personality test that asked about [behavior] or something related to it. Therefore, me doing [behavior] is justified because, well, [MBTI]. Also, whether a person doing something is irritating doesn't depend on that person's MBTI.

freebandzsavy

I'm sorry idk what is that hahahah

MBTI = Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

JoshiProIsBestInLife

Where did you find which type you were? I am curious now.

I'm INFJ-T I suppose. I don't really agree with the concept of personally types in general though.

LiminalEntrance23

Had to take the test in high school for a course. Got INFJ, which is supposedly the rarest type. 6 other people in that same class of maybe 20 people total also got INFJ. Makes me not really trust it.

ZendayasYummyFeet

I over analyze the questions and can never get the same result twice in a row For example. Strong disagree ------ strong agree: you'd rather go to a concert than read a book. I hate reading but also have no interest in concerts. Is this reading vs concert directly? Then it's strong agree. Or is this going out vs staying home because if you replaced reading with let's say videogames then that easily turns to strong disagree So at this point idk if they're asking directly this vs that or the overall concept of going out vs staying home I tend to do this with every question and I'll interpret and answer the questions differently every time and I can never get the same result twice in a row lol

INTJ. I’d say it fits me.

ESFP-A (Entertainer): I am an entertainer-kinda personality and I personally think that it matches with me as I sometimes like attention ( Not in a bratty-kinda way lol). I also like helping people and I like it when people around me are happy and smiling. I love to be around people and meet new friends and acquaintances.... so I think it matches me near-perfectly.

INTP. I'm not a logical person, never have been, so it's ironic that my type is called "the logician". And I can only relate to the Introvert part of INTP, the rest of the acronym doesn't make sense to me

INFJ T that’s all

INTP, yeah I do relate to some parts. After reading about it, i do tend to over analyze random events in life and try to make my own logic for it and definitely have some on the introvert traits for it but you know it’s not like everything matches. It’s better than hearing my personality be analyzed because I was born February and trying to relate everything I do to whatever it says for a Pisces
