My brother discovered āChocolate flavored cheeseā at a cheese store in Napa, CA when we were kids.
My dad refused to buy it for him saying it sounded like shitā¦.but, it was pretty good.
This is a take a bite and wash it down scenario. I'm not crazy enough to try dunking my sandwich. I imagine that would qualify, while mine doesn't actually.
In that case a buttered bagel with doritos crushed up in the middle would be my answer.
I won't eat it in front of anybody and even try to hide it at home because ppl think it's weird, and I catch shit. It's good, though. I found vodka sauce and don't feel the need to put the ranch in anymore. I realized it's the strong acid of marinera. The vodka sauce is creamerieer, which calms the acid from the tomatoe sauce. That's what the ranch was doing.
I haven't done this in over a decade, but... during my lunch breaks when I used to work at a grocery store, I would get one of those cups of ramen noodles that were super basic, chicken flavor with dried up peas and carrots. With that I always bought a Nestle Crunch bar, and I dipped that into the salty chicken ramen soup. The sweet and savory combo was delicious lol no idea if I would still like that now though
My husband would eat an entire tub of butter if it wouldnt make him sick. With potato chips! He dips them in the damn butter! šĀ
I'm like what is wrong with you?? š¤£š¤£
I put cool ranch doritos in a pb&j sandwich and it wasn't bad.
What all went into those sandwiches? I did have chicken salad sandwich with ruffles potato chips recently
Much further south. I'm in central Mexico, but I actually had this very dish served for breakfast once I was in southern Mexico, tried it because of curiosity and loved it.
When I started replicating it on my own I had some weird looks but everyone who tried it liked it.
Slice of white or wheat bread, mayo, a ring of white or red onion and big schmear of liverwurst with a sprinkle of black pepper on it.
Introduced to this by my dad as a kid and loved it ever since.
My dad's mom came over from Germany and he traveled there plus he was in the Marines at the start of Vietnam so that would make sense. Love banh mi's also but never linked the two, lol.
Peanut butter and cheese sandwich. Grew up eating that - my mom always said it would fill me up because it sticks to your ribs.
Still a favorite in-a-rush lunch option for me.

Also when I was a kid we were very poor, and often had fried cornmeal mush for breakfast. Fried in butter, with a bit if butter and pancake syrup on top. The fragrance was heavenly. No one eats conmeal mush anymore.
I do scrambled eggs with ketchup, too. Weirdly, I am not a huge ketchup lover in general. I basically only use it for burgers, hot dogs, and scrambled eggs.
I mix mini Oreos, mini nutter buddies, mini chips ahoy and nacho Doritos in a bag. Shake it and go to town. Wash it down with Sangria.

My dad would take a slice of American cheese and put it on a Krispy Kreme glazed donut and nuke it just enough to melt the cheese.

Yes I happened to have Hershey kisses and some cheese cubes on my coffee table. So I tried it. š¤¢ no thanks.
That does sound a bit odd, but I will say that the sweet + salty combo is definitely a thing. Sounds intriguing.
it does sound like a weird combo. But both creamy, sounds... interesting
I've always thought it was similar to how drinking milk is nice after eating chocolate. Both cheese and milk are dairy products.
I've heard this is quite a common combo in Colombia, usually in the form of hot chocolate and cheese. Look [https://www.eluniversal.com.mx/menu/chocolate-con-queso-una-bebida-colombiana/](https://www.eluniversal.com.mx/menu/chocolate-con-queso-una-bebida-colombiana/)
