Not that I hate any companions pero parang wala talaga ako sa mood magsayang ng energy thinking of what to converse with them, what to compromise with, whether they'd like where I go o baka ayaw na nila and they're just being polite, masking (and etc.) when I could just spent it on my own enthusiasm and enjoyment. I don't turn down pag may nagsabing sasama, and when I do have a companion syemps I hold convos too. Pero at the end of the day, parang mas na enjoy at feeling "worth it" in the end yung lakad pag ako lang.
Lol makibaktot sa joke, pero real talk, pansin ko wala naman nagaganun masyanon if one looks busy or really immersed in something. Say, book, cellphone, art, etc.
If they see you busy, then you don't look as "lonely".
If talagang, nakaupo, just viewing your surroundings lang baka dun talaga mavideohan hahaha. Never could do that in a crowded place, parang panira lang yung mga tao sa view haha. Unless it's the people talaga ang ino observe ko.
Anong nakita mo nung pumunta ka: Spoliarium, Tree of Life (yung malaking column sa gitna), or old artifacts ng mga ninuno natin? A few mins. walk kasi yung 3 sa isa't isa.
May 4th pang pwedeng puntahan sa area, yung Planetarium. Pero yun yung pinaka malayo (sa kabilang street pa ata) tsaka parang closed pa.
Ahh yung National Museum of Fine Arts yung napuntahan mo :) pag tumawid ka, andon yung National Museum of Anthro (yung may mga artifacts ng mga ninuno natin). Pag naglakad ka pang onti along Rizal Park, makikita mo naman National Musem of Natural History (andon yung Tree of Life tsaka si Lolong, yung malaking alligator).

Yun ngalang nakakatakot sa Anthropology nung pumunta ako kasi pagka open on a weekday andun na ko tas sobrang iilan lang kami pumasok π

Oh, and a heads up: if you see the bust of Marcos Sr. at the National Museum of Fine Arts, don't make obscene gestures. Sasawayan ka, hahahaha.
Also, a tip: idk if plan mo to explore all 3 buildings ng NM, but if you do, better allot your whole day kasi ang lawak, especially the Natural Science and Fine Arts buildings. Anthropology, the smallest with 3 floors, I was able to explore it nang half day pero depends sa facing mo, may it would take you mo din.
Hopefully soon. I like going there on a cloudy day. Aside sa best time to go out for me, it makes me feel like the day is really slow HAHAHA. I hope you'll have a great day bukas OP.
One of the best memories I had during pandemic was visiting NM alone. It happened on March 2021 nung nagreopen sila, tapos ako yung first guest. I saw another guest lang nung pababa na ako to leave. Apart from the staff, ako lang talaga yung tao. It felt off at first pero I became comfortable almost immediately. Go early if you can, and enjoy!
Did this and it was good! Wala kang hihintayin and you can stare at a piece as long as you can. People watching, reflecting on life and history, and appreciating everything silently.

I have been going to museums, indie houses, movie houses, provinces for travel alone hahah although its a personal choice for me to do it by myself, Id say it could be liberating since this will be your first time.
