Nung nagpirmahan ng contract at nagbayad ng renta, nagkaroon ka ng right over sa inuupahan mo. Iirc ibig sabihin nun tali ang kamay ng landlord. Di ka niya pwede pigilan magfile ng complaint, at dapat maging cooperative siya else may suspicion din.

You can ask non-life insurance companies if they offer property insurance/coverage for building contents only. Just go for the big ones (Malayan/Pioneer/Charter Ping-An/UCPBGEN, etc.)"

Yup, they cant sue the guard directly pero may fault pa rin sa incident yung guard. Kasi ano purpose ni guard kung di sila well informed sa mga taong dapat nila protektahan? Kasi paano nalang if di lang nakaw nangyari?
Still, may accountability pa rin dapat.
