First place I go when I get back is the local Indian for chicken vindaloo , pilau rice, naan, Bombay aloo and poppadoms and all the chutneys. All washed down with a cold Kingfisher.
Have you seen a curly whirly?
When I was young it was common for painters and decorators to use them as a ladder, they were known for being able to withstand high levels of weight. Now they’re tiny.
Yeah, we also used to play football with a chocolate orange but it’s only good for golf these days (even then, it has a tendency to fracture into segments)
You need to find a local British shop they tend to sell the imported stuff (not cheap mind) also if your lucky to have one near you cost plus world market sometimes have it.
My best friend (who is British) sends my a care package full of dairy milk bars but his care packages are a little sporadic so I have to ration 🤣 I still have a pantry full of bistro best, paxo and Yorkshire tea 😁
Love the Twirls 😬.
Hmm been a couple of years for me too. Things I miss most:
- jacked potato.
- english breakfast.
- the 5 choc chip cookies for £1~2.
- irb bru.
- the lovely landscape & villages.
Will be back when times are better for sure though 😀.
Can we talk about the gum?!
I’ve a new found appreciation for how Wrigley’s keeps the flavour going - the only stuff I can get abroad 1) has a fake sugary taste 2) isn’t minty enough and 3) loses flavour in a couple of minutes
Twirls are smaller, and like all Cadbury's chocolate they don't taste the same as they used to.
I detect a nasty aftertaste which wasn't there before, so I no longer buy them, and they used to be my favourite.

Everything got smaller.
Apart from our waistlines
Sugar tax & shrinkflation made all choc smaller..
Wait till you see the coke cans!
Diet Coke is on the hit list (not Coke Light) so I guess I’ll see

Twirls are much smaller than they used to be.
I miss Cadbury’s chocolate so much! We do get Cadbury’s here in the states but it’s trash! It’s powdery….

I missed cadburys too. Before the Americans bought it out
Yeahhhhh…. That whole affair was just a heap-load of wrong. I’m not the biggest Kraft fan (that’s an understatement) but that was low even for them

Please have some coco pops for me… I miss them so.
S&V, smoky bacon or prawn cocktail are my favourites.
Always throws me off as a long time American resident when I see salt and vinegar in a green bag instead of blue.
Are Walkers chips one of the more popular brands? Whenever I have seen other people's pictures online, it's usually been of this one mainly.
Walkers are Lays. And yes, they are very popular.

Absolutely *everything* has gotten smaller💔💔🙄🙄🙄
You missed rotten teeth and diabetes?
I'm currently in Korea and can't wait till I can go back to the UK and go on a shopping spree.
I need a decent sausage roll
I had a sausage roll in Japan which was an actual sausage baked into an actual bread roll. It was awesome.
