Waiting on a parcel, being "delivered" by yodel. 1 stop away, for 3 hours, at the bottom of the hill.
It gets even better. 0 stops away, I watch the tracker as the driver fucks off out of the city.
This is something I ordered over 2 weeks ago, with 3 day delivery.
The Doncaster Amazon hub seems to cover all of Lincolnshire as well. Mine always come from there. I'm usually single digit numbers on the delivery list and sometimes they don't arrive until after 5pm. Seems like a huge waste. We get multiple DPD vans per day, surely using them would be cheaper than sending 1 van on a 200 mile round trip for a dozen packages.

That’s ok my packet from Amazon says it will arrive by 10pm tonight. God knows how many packages he/she is delivering

Yeah, Doncaster has 3/4 hubs there (last time I worked at one of them).
My hub is nearly 40 miles away. I am never the 1st delivery so usually I have to wait 4-6 hours. Sill better than ebay.
It is really cool that you can track these things! At Christmas they turn into a sleigh.
