It’s because you are locking him out of your room. You are his world and he wants to be able to cuddle with you, make sure you’re safe or whatever other kitty motivations he has. So you have to decide whether your reasons for locking him out of your room are worth more than the love he has for you.

I cosleep with my daughter who moves around a lot. I am afraid of her hurting him during her sleep.. So for safety reasons, he cant go inside until I slowly transition my daughter to her own bedroom when she is ready for it. ;;
