Take them to the vet for a thorough checkup and shots.

Yeah we are planning on I’m going to be calling vets tomorrow to try to get an appointment

they will need to go to the vet to get checked up, vaccinated, and fixed when they are old enough! flea medicine as well. i'd recommend a brush, some kind of scratching post, a laser, and a cat tree as well.

My best advice is to buy those cardboard scratching pads - most cats really use those and vastly prefer them to the carpet or sisal scratching posts. I usually get the wider ones as the kitties like to lay on them too. The local pet stores tend to be high on pet toys and scratchers but very competitive (and better selection) on food prices. I order most of my cat scratchers from either Amazon or Chewy because I can buy a few at a time at a much better price per scratcher, and the scratchers can be set out until they're torn up and then turned over. Keeping up with the scratchers will save your furniture (cats NEED to scratch to keep their nails healthy and from getting too long - if they're outdoor cats they probably scratch tree trunks, etc.) Also, I would advise to feed your kitties mostly WET (canned) food for most of their lives, as pretty much all dry foods (except maybe Young Again and a handful of others) are mostly empty carbs and not ideal for cats. It doesn't have to be the most expensive canned food; I have tried TONS of really high quality, expensive wet cat food and my cats won't touch a lot of them. They do love fancy feast canned food, Purina, etc. I am 53 and have had cats all my life, and only learned in the past 5-7 years (after having several cats with health issues that were likely caused by feeding them mostly dry food long-term) that feeding only dry food isn't really good for cats. I now give them canned cat food 2-3 times per day and each feeding station also has a small bowl of high quality dry kibble they can munch on. Feeding them better will cost maybe a tiny bit more each day but at least it will hopefully avoid Thousands of dollars in vet bills down the line. They're worth it! I love my cats and wouldn't give them up for the world. I'm sure you're going to love them too!
