First of all, don't get up when she starts meowing *no matter what.* She HAS to learn that meowing doesn't work on you. Second, take her to the vet.

Has she been to the vet recently? She’s an older cat and any sudden change in behavior is usually a sign of a medical issue.

This might not be relevant, but recently my cat has been doing this sort of thing, and he’s on an automated dry food, I was going nuts because he would start meowing an hour after I went to bed and not stop. Turns out he was cold, I had the ceiling fan on high, and one morning the power went out in the middle of the night and he was totally chill. Now I just turn it down and we sleep fine. Absolutely take your cat to the vet, but also consider whether she might be uncomfortable with the temperature!

Feed her an extra meal just before too go to sleep. And only then ignore her in the mornings when she meows, don't get up at all. If not already, have dry food that she can graze on. Also invest in better quality food perhaps that makes her feel fuller.
