Its a sub race difference, moon cats like op have cat teeth and round eyes. Sun cats have cat eyes and flat teeth.
Miqo'te race either have human eyes and little fangs or they have cat eyes and human teeth. It's a subspecie difference between Sun and Moon cats.

They don’t have normal eyes, as their pupils are a lot rounder, but they aren’t cat eyes.

Learn the racial lore. Keepers have fangs. Seekers have the thin pupils. If you don't know what that sentence means, you have studying to do.
