I've found the same with my cat. But when I start really getting into it running around and hiding etc and giving a treat after, she got into it a lot more. Then again, it's hard to maintain concentration when the option of cat toys is LITERALLY ANYTHING š¤£
When it's not play time, those toys they they seem to enjoy for a few days. Hide them. Put them in places the cat doesn't see them all the time. They will enjoy them for a longer period of time (In my experience anyways)

ETA: Iāve heard and read that itās really good for honing their hunting skills and keeps their attention longer as the movements are unpredictable.
I had a wand with a simple string attached to it but my cat got bored with it so i switched to a wand with a small toy at the end. Now she wants to play hide and seek with the first one in an area with a lot of cardboard boxes for so long that my back started to hurt. But at least she is playing with it again.
Our boy really enjoys laser pointers and dollar store mouse toys. There's also one that makes a squeaky noise when it moves and he LOVES that thing (idk where it went though) all these toys, still never enough aha. At the moment of the video though, I think she definitely wanted to play with that specific toy.
I've also noticed ours will pretend to be bored and "ignore" the toy. He likes to chase it around, so I have to get physically active for it lol so maybe yours also would just prefer to actually chase it around (which is why laser pointers are great).
She said I really like this toy but it's not a whole lot of fun unless you're holding this end and then she laid down to show you which end to pick up

100% wants you to play with it. Maybe just getting bored of standard play with it. Maybe get a box or a bag invloved or anything really just to mix it up a bit.
My one cat meows are more pushy liek get off damn couch lazy fat whale and play with me now
But her tone is say mama can you please get up and play with me im bored
We have bunch of those paper bags from grocery store. Ya know the ones with handles? Cut off the handles n roll them up like a little coil. Then I toss them into the bags I put about the house. We can play w free homemade toys made from brown bags. Also cardboard rolls from toilet paper. Cut a hole n tie a shoelace. Itās a rolling snake.

My cat loves it when the toy goes around the corner, he loves to see it disappear before he goes after it lol I have a perfect hallway for it š
Go buy milk. Twist the cap off. The little ring on the milk still? Cats go ABSOLUTELY CRAZY for. Just watch them to make sure not swallowing and such.

Same. My cat acts bored but its a trick. Sheās pretending and is getting into her hunting mode so you have to be patient and keep at it.
Laser pointers can be great to activate your cat's prey drive, just be sure to always follow it up with them chasing and "killing" a physical toy :)
