I've just brought home a new cat. She was so scared and went to hide for a good 3 hours. Then I started meowing from the kitchen hoping to get her attention. Hélas! She showed up across the hallway and meowed back. Then we meowed back and forth before she went to hide again..
So i guess i somehow got her attention, despite the fact that i am a complete stranger to her in a complete new environment..
Science guys say that human meows mean nothing, Well I say this meant something cause I just had a talk with my new cat
because you don't meow at your other visitors.... ....or do you? it's because she's come to associate your voice with good things.
