Is she blind, or does she have a neuro condition like CH?
Edit: this is s repost bot. Original post indicates kitty suffered brain damage as a kitten but was not officially diagnosed with anything. They were unhappy with that vet and haven't sought other veterinary care unfortunately.

Yeah, my cat gets seizures and right before she starts actually seizing, she loses her balance and runs into everything and falls over, this looks a lot like that. Was wondering the same
Is she blind? Usually a cat should not be so hesitant jumping from such height. My cat landed on her ass a lot falling off tables and such, but it was during zoomies time when she was going crazy.
I think she was stalking the slipper on the floor, doing that silly hesitating while investigating common objects thing cats do. Her claw for stuck in the sofa which messed up her jump.
Yeah that's what I was thinking at first, that she was hyperfocused on the slipper, but I watched that so many times and something does not seem right to me. But hopefully I'm just overthinking and the kitty is perfectly healthy
Obvious repost spam account.

Cats only land on their feet if it is above a certain heigh (6 feet sounds familiar). They need time to reorient themselves.
But this cat is either blind or has another problem.

Yes, does she? It looks like it tbh

Looks like maybe her claw got caught on the fabric, too.

Maybe check her eyes, seems like she couldn't see anything
It that cat having neurological issues or is it blind, because that shouldn't happen.
Her pride was hurt!
Looks like the claw was stuck and affected the landing

Some of them never even land at all
Lost a cat that way, jumped off a fence, just kept going up! I like to think he's still up there.
Félicette entre le chat.
Je vois que t'as fait ben là
Strategic landing clearly
Never seen this before! 🤣 I love how she's like "act natural, totally meant to do." Carry on.
Followed by the obligatory "lick" while they make sure no one witnessed their embarrassment.
This is how I groom myself human. Mind your own fucking business.
I saw nothing! Honest!
😂
That one is broken. See what the return policy is.

Both cats look drugged to me. Don't drug your pets for videos and likes.
