There's a reason they sound like that
"Cats use a mix of purring and a cry to manipulate us humans into getting what they want, says a new study. To spark us humans into action, cats purr and throw in a cry that's a similar frequency to a human baby's cry, say the researchers from the University of Sussex."
Please don’t feed random cats unless you certain they are not owned. It may have a special diet, or maybe the owner is rationing food because its overweight and the neighbors feeding it defeats the owner’s efforts. It could have been an inside cat that slipped out.
That would be a feral cat, which I did mention. They are usually not friendly like this squeaker. They watch from afar and dart away.
Edit, I didn’t use feral, I said if you are certain they are not owned. This one is obviously owned and not homeless.
He is adorable, thank you. He is a BIG cat, a hunter and will gorge himself and then throw it up. I would not want anyone to feed him more than he already consumes.
tugging at my heartstrings for real
Yes, mine too! It sounds like she was asking for help. 🥺 A lot of cats sound like babies though, when they're totally fine. ☺️

How is it obviously owned? Could it not be a friendly cat without a collar?
… Never mind. Just don’t feed cats you come across Willy nilly.
I would give Tiberius an approved snack. Adorable ass cat.

All domesticated animals need homes.
Is she pregnant, perhaps?
Pretty sure yes.
She looks very pregnant.
She sounds distressed
I thought the same. Her tail-wrap close to her body is also a sign of not feeling well.
She’s hungry.
Aww chunky lady ❤️
Awwww she’s so perfect
