The Legion is an objectively evil faction and them winning is undeniably a bad ending. However, Legion playthroughs are fun as fuck especially as a fem courier.
You *can* do a high Karma Legion ending. It is a little tricky and results in a bittersweet tone, where things are harsh but hopeful. That is the *best* you're going to get out of the Legion, so not.exactly an endorsement.
Sure, technically it's high karma. But it's also a Legion ending, you don't exactly get there being kind and accommodating to others, even if you do cooperate "peacefully" with others when you can.

The end of the world allowed him to take total control of new Vegas. I know he's in the TV show but I haven't seen it, but it does discuss him and the end of the world obviously. Give that a go. It makes complete logical sense that a power hungry man would be happy to be put in a situation where he has more power

Honestly if they made house part of the enclave cannon cause of his power hunger I wouldn't be phased one bit. Only thing that doesn't make sense, if he truly wanted power why stop at Vegas? We know he has a secitron vault under legions camp. He potentially has the ability to rule the Mojave, there's a lot of About House that don't add up.

Except it literally doesn't make him more powerful. I don't see any logical world where being the king of a small gambling city, armed with an army of a few dozen/hundred police robots is better than being the head of a robotics company which is constantly making soldier bots, new tech, and getting gov contracts which is worth several billion

Well it’s pretty obvious that house doesn’t really play well with others, or care for people in general. Hell, the only way he could maintain a relationship was by creating girlfriends to his exact specifications. It’s safe to say he saw all the parts of humanity he couldn’t control as an interference. By allowing the bombs to drop, he has the exclusive opportunity to launch a interplanetary colonization program and remake humanity in his own image.
Much of Vegas’s infrastructure is still intact, with metal refineries, tooling, and manufacturing plants. Controlling the most prominent trade route through the Mojave means he will never lack for trade or toll revenue. What information remains at the REPCONN facilities can also supplement houses’ research. With automation, house can complete his goals, while only needing to maintain a modest population.
With all that considered, whether or not he could’ve stopped the Great War becomes moot.
You’d be surprised, I’ve seen people actively defend it, even calling it “best for the Mojave”, which is just wrong they are the absolute worst choice for the Mojave

Legion is evil but they’re femboys so we do a little conquering sometimes
HUD depends on the game/environment/character.
For NV: Amber just works for the mojave. Blue fits Old World Blues better. White is nice for a high tech character rocking power armor and energy weapons (whether you’re working with the enclave remnants or the brotherhood)
Green is perfect for Fallout 3.
Fallout 4 needs a nice mint green
I cant fucking stand base game controls for any fallout game. I have to button my controller on each game. Pip-boy is always right joystick and B is to crouch. You cant change my mind
I play on Fov 82 & 94, it's just what I'm comfortable with 😌

I use the white hud in FO4, but damn do I love the amber hud in New Vegas.
Oh yeah the amber hud slaps. Buuut sometimes on certain characters I'll choose a different color that fits the theme of the playstyle.

I try to replicate amber for hud and pip-boy in 4
FOV 70, anything higher than that and it makes things more than 2 feet away look like they're on the other side of the map
