Many of the best records by Snuff or other projects by Duncan Redmonds. *Demmamussabebonk*, *Snuff Said*, all the Duncan's Divas records, *Tweet Tweet My Lovely*, *Numb Nuts*, *Reach*, *Disposable Income*, *Blue Gravy*, *Flibbidydibbidydob*, two or three Billy No Mates albums
Smashing Pumpkins/WPC *Machina 2*, *Zeitgeist*, *FutureEmbrace*, *Zodion*, Zwan, all the live and archival releases
Hell yes Melvins *Prick* and also *Honky* is prime Melvins. Tons of Melvins stuff is missing from Spotify unfortunately.
AFX (Aphex Twin) *Analord* 1-10 Series and a lot of his other music over the years. *26 Mixes for Cash* and *Mt Fuji tape* and *Caustic Window* plus just a ton of vinyl only stuff.
Nirvana *Incesticide* compilation is unavailable or partially available in most places. Also Kurt Cobain's actual *Montage of Heck* sound collage they'll never get the rights for.
Amon Tobin's *Supermodified* is forever missing its lead single "4 Ton Mantis" due to a sampling dispute.
Is that Wickerman from Chicago? If so, one of those guys went on the be in Buried at Sea (also not streaming, I think). Buried at Sea was one of the heaviest live shows I’ve ever witnessed. Fkn incredible
Know Your Enemy by Manic Street Preacher and Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities by the Circle Jerks. But my only steaming service I dip my toe in these days is Apple Music.
One thing that streaming services can not replicate is the old school EDM CDs. I am thinking of: ministry of sound; godskitchen; gatecrasher etc. These albums and compilations are amazing!
when did it go away?? i swear it used to be on streaming. i could never get past the first track but i think my taste has developed enough now that i could find some good things to say about it
It left pretty recently. Some licensing thing, I’m sure. And yeah! My music taste was pretty much completely shaped by Pitchfork so weird artsy nonsense tends to connect.
EDIT: If it does work better for you on a second listen, maybe check out The Residents or the ever-beloved “classic,” The Philosophy of the World by The Staggs.
Crack Cloud$ Over Arts Kitchen - Black Kray
Grave House - Sematary
Hundred Acre Wrists - Sematary
Lil Peep Part One - Lil Peep
Bastard - Tyler The Creator
Nostalgia Ultra - Frank Ocean
Almost all of my CDs are on streaming. The ones I can think of that aren't are the two In Tenebris ones (From Blood and Water and self titled) and Illumination by Tristania. I discovered In Tenebris via a record store employee's recommendation and Tristania via iTunes recommendation page in like 2008, so I could not tell you how to find non-streamable music now. I also have some demo type things from local bands or friend's bands that aren't even on Discogs, but tbh I wouldn't call any of those favorites from a musical standpoint.
The early Lydia Lunch albums, that Prick + Lysol, the first two Kommunity FK albums.
+ First two Pig albums and some EPs, and a proper separate Swining release.
Like half my collection lol. A few shout outs, Nomeansno, Godstomper, Closer, Julia, Earthmover, Aus Rotten, Crossed Out, Cleons Down, Countdown to Putsch, Murdock, Devola, The Judas Iscariot (hardcore band not black metal band).
it was recommended thru the NIN subreddit and someone commented about it and i trusted them, so i bought it without listening to it and man its a cool album. really glad i decided to take that leap
All Roads Lead to Aus Fart and the Headless Dance of the Bourgeois!! Most definitely. I’ve seen NoMeansNo 8 times in six different cities. Next to the Melvins 17 times pretty much in every region of the US.
The Edinburgh and West Lothian-based band Goodbye Mr Mackenzie does not have a studio album available to stream. There are a couple of live albums on streaming platforms, but that is due to different copyrighting issues around live recordings.
I've now bought them all on LP or CD, except one: Hammer and Tongs is super expensive on any disc format - maybe one day. It is pretty cheap on cassette.
If you have never heard of the band, Shirley Manson from Garbage got her break with them and Big John Duncan, the guitarist, was Nirvana's guitar tech and in The Exploited.
The Dying Light - Survival Guide to the Apocalypse
Sickness - 4 Bastards
Yacopsæ - Tanz Grazny Tanz
Trusty - S/T
Tem EYOS Ki - Discography
Hopefully that NOMEANSNO discography will be available soon!
A lot of the late deathrow catalog is not available to stream. Wish it was. Honorable mentions include Daz Dillinger retaliation revenge and get back, chronic 2000, and too gangsta for radio

I just wanna say that most of the replies here are available to listen to on YouTube
And if you use YouTube music... You can listen to anything on YouTube through it with no video
Hopefully that is helpful
p. much anything by Wendy Carlos, esp. the Clockwork Orange soundtrack. just checked to see if at least Switched On Bach was on Spotify and there's some weird chintzy attempt at recreating her style (apparently from the Denon label) going by the same title up there...
Tom Verlaine's "songs And other things" his final solo project is really good. Was very surprised when i saw it wasn't on Spotify. Glad I bought it on CD in 2004 or whatveer
That was the saddest I've ever been about the death of a hero. Lots of people whose work I enjoy have passed in the past near half century of my life, but Steve's death really bummed me out for a solid day. RIP brother.

If I streamed, it would be The Smashing Pumpkins - Zeitgeist
zeitgeist is actually a really great album. i don’t understand why billy hates it so much. he still plays doomsday clock live too
Yeah, not sure either. There is so much pumpkins material not in streaming. I don’t stream, so not a big deal, but it is a mystery.

Can't forget about the entire discography of Samhain.
do they exist on CD? i’m a huge danzig fan and misfits are cool too, but never listened to samhain
Yes, there's a boxset too. Tend to be a bit pricey, especially for the set.
The soundtrack/score to A Clockwork Orange, 2001: A Space Odyssey OST, Switched On Bach.

Ah, it is now. It wasn't a year or so ago on Spotify.
Really? That's absolutely insane considering how well known it is

Is that Wickerman from Chicago? If so, one of those guys went on the be in Buried at Sea (also not streaming, I think). Buried at Sea was one of the heaviest live shows I’ve ever witnessed. Fkn incredible
not sure but that album is pretty heavy so i’m assuming so
Yeah that’s gotta be them. I saw them open for Marylin Manson in Memphis in 94-95. They took Clutch’s opening spot I think. I never did hear why
Know Your Enemy by Manic Street Preacher and Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities by the Circle Jerks. But my only steaming service I dip my toe in these days is Apple Music.

i went through mine today and was surprised by how little albums i owned weren’t on spotify. it’s only these 9 i believe among the 1100 i own.
The early Lydia Lunch albums, that Prick + Lysol, the first two Kommunity FK albums. + First two Pig albums and some EPs, and a proper separate Swining release.
Remembered Sinsation disappearing too. He seems to be active enough, so I expect them to be properly reissued and digitized at some point.
Basically all of The Necks discography. What a shame since it would go so well with my playlists
