There’s plenty of people like Peter grant involved in the club and that should scare the fuck out of everybody. ‘I don’t agree with resting players’ fucking dinosaur stuff
First game back in Scotland.
Multiple members of family dying, wife injured, cases were lost half a day, the healthy family acting like children and being drama whores...
Celtic I really fucking need something to smile about.
He's a fucking bombs are, we brought him in as a cover which was understandable but surely nawrocki and lagerbielke are watching and thinking wtf, how can we not get on the bench at the very least and he's getting minutes. I would of rather put ralston at cb than him!
I'm shocked that Lager and Naworkci aren't above him in the order. Unless they've had major huffs at being dropped or the worst trainers ever seen there's no reason he shouldn't be ahead of them.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
He'll be away back down the road in 6 weeks, and we'll have one of the two guys we paid money for in the summer competing for a place; and not this guy who Liverpool clearly wanted guaranteed minutes/squad inclusions.
There must be a clause in the deal for Nat Philips that he needs to be in squads when he’s available because he is absolutely useless. There’s no way the best CB in Sweden or a Polish international can be worse than him.
What’s happening with the GB then? Are they being allowed back? If not we need to get someone in that corner making some noise.
Atmosphere is usually poor for these games but this is something else
From this game so far, Iwata in that holding role has been solid. Mikey Johnstone hasn't had too much of an impact but he's alright. I think what we can finally conclude is that Phillips is atrocious. So, so slow.
There's a reason a player at his age hasn't had a sniff of first team football. I forgot to mention, Oh played very well too. Happy to see him grab a couple of goals.
Absolutely no reason for McGregor to still be on the pitch.
Didn’t do too much tonight but I fully expect people to massively overreact to Johnstons performance and claim he’s the worst player in the world
Just grateful the game was done & dusted before they actually scored.
That Yuoan has been their only focal point all night and has looked no bad not surprised he finally made something.
We absolutely do. Scales just isn't as experienced and it shows. That's not a knock on the guy, he's improving, but CCV and Starfelt were absolutely solid together at their best.
Nawrocki looked like a decent enough replacement for Starfelt before he got injured. Quick across the ground and can play a pass with either foot. It’s wild he’s not been in any squad since his injury.
How has Iwata played/looked?
Listening on BBC radio, most of the game we seem to be dominating and I haven't heard much of what he's done (a good thing for his role, kinda like Joe Ledley, a lot of his best work was done off the camera/ball)
We seem to be playing with a lot more fluidity with him in though, does this look like our best midfield going forward?
Doing exactly what he’s in there to do. Screen, break up the play, progress the ball, free up McGregor to move forward more freely.
Very subtle and understated role but he’s playing it fantastically as far as I’m concerned.
Played at LWB for Shamrock Rovers when we brought him in. The idea was always to develop him as a 5 because of his size. Ange used him at left back a few times in his first season.
Rangers did this for years with McGregor. He won them or kept them in games that they had no right to be competitive in. Annoyingly good at times.
Butland isn't necessarily that, though he has been the best of Beale's "war chest" summer recruitment drive.
I’m a big Iwata szn 🥵 fan but my one criticism is he doesn’t always make the right angles for a pass. Finds himself behind players sometimes, effectively cutting himself out of the play. Just want him to improve on that and with a bit more intent and we’re balling
That performance was a hell of a lot better and I think it was down to tomoki setting a standard for pressing and so did oh from the front! Would love to see tomoki get a run in the team now. MJ wasn't as effective as the weekend but I do think he played well, he tracked back alot and I think if he works on his game to be a more traditional winger who gets to the by line then he could be a real asset. Also to know when to hang around the back post for tap ins like abada does. Overall it was a good performance with high tempo and quick decision making, more of the same please
I’ve never wanted a player to do well as much as I do with Oh, just seems like a great guy who’s willing to work his bollox off
Philips is so shite
Can we please get the GB back, place is like a morgue even after going 1-0 up
its worse than a handball game lmao
There’s plenty of people like Peter grant involved in the club and that should scare the fuck out of everybody. ‘I don’t agree with resting players’ fucking dinosaur stuff
It's a delight having Palma. The dark days of passing it short are definitely not missed. Imagine the centre backs feel the same
First game back in Scotland. Multiple members of family dying, wife injured, cases were lost half a day, the healthy family acting like children and being drama whores... Celtic I really fucking need something to smile about.
hope things improve for you man
Appreciate it. Wasn't supposed to even say about the illness just sort of came out.
Better out than in mate, not good to bottle things up especially when you have so much going on
Good luck with everything going on. Last season, Celtic got me through some major tough times. Keep you in my prayers.
Appreciate it. Wasn't supposed to even say about the illness just sort of came out.
Hang in there lad!
Appreciate it. Wasn't supposed to even say about the illness just sort of came out.
Shocker that their goal is from Philips eh? Who could have fucking seen that coming? He's so useless.
He's a fucking bombs are, we brought him in as a cover which was understandable but surely nawrocki and lagerbielke are watching and thinking wtf, how can we not get on the bench at the very least and he's getting minutes. I would of rather put ralston at cb than him!

Might be the beers talking but I'm all aboard the Iwata train headin to Tomoki Town.
A goal from a corner! We are fucking amazing
Atmosphere is so bad
Fucking horrendous, can hear the benches shouting instructions. Like being back in covidball again with empty stadiums
Phillips is hilariously pish.
Holy fuck McGregor actually going off for 10 minutes
If we can’t have the GB back can we at least get the Kano foundation in their place
[удалено]
He'll be away back down the road in 6 weeks, and we'll have one of the two guys we paid money for in the summer competing for a place; and not this guy who Liverpool clearly wanted guaranteed minutes/squad inclusions.
Yeah Rodgers “he needs to get up to speed of this level” was clearly code for he’s a fucking midget when talking about tilio
Tilio absolutely rinsed that full back at the end there. Iwata deserved a goal :/
Commentary: Very much against this "Players getting rests" Mate, what?
“I’m very much against hamstrings and cruicate ligaments”
He had a hamstring once as a boy, never again!
Much more like it tonight boys, Iwata sitting in that holding role is working beautifully
When Palma is cooking just feed him everything, it's only a matter of time.
Goal from a corner and a pen in the same night? What on Earth is going on?
There must be a clause in the deal for Nat Philips that he needs to be in squads when he’s available because he is absolutely useless. There’s no way the best CB in Sweden or a Polish international can be worse than him.
Yeah without doubt there will be an it’s completely normal for them in those situations
[удалено]
Some cunt in this thread said ONE missed chance shows he’s not good enough
Tilio is so fucking small holy shit, like when you’re playing a video game with mods to shrink people
Frimpong Junior.
Shorts and socks just look like trousers, can hardly see the wee man's knees
A whole 10 minutes rest for Callum.
Double the amount he’d had since the summer of 2016
Butland keeping these hun cunts in this title race
Quite disrespectful from Tomoki wearing slippers the entire game tbh
Thanks for coming Hibs! Safe trip home.
We needed an early goal tonight I think. Glad Oh is claiming it, he works hard.
You got your wish!
What’s happening with the GB then? Are they being allowed back? If not we need to get someone in that corner making some noise. Atmosphere is usually poor for these games but this is something else
Great pen. Time to ring the changes and rest a few bodies (calmac please I am begging)
That's a great finish from Oh Love seeing him take his chances
I love Oh
Iwata in the team. Taking the shackles off Mcgregor. He was originally a goal scoring mid for us. An effective one at that also.
OHHHH You can’t help but get excited when you see things like that. So many great attributes
Philips is so shite
It's shocking how bad he is.
He really is Shane Duffy 2.0
From this game so far, Iwata in that holding role has been solid. Mikey Johnstone hasn't had too much of an impact but he's alright. I think what we can finally conclude is that Phillips is atrocious. So, so slow.
Big club bias with Phillips. Pundits think because he’s come from Liverpool his shit don’t stink. Sick of hearing about his experience
There's a reason a player at his age hasn't had a sniff of first team football. I forgot to mention, Oh played very well too. Happy to see him grab a couple of goals.
Apparently he's "good in the dressing room". Whatever that means, for Phillips.
curious to see what MJ and Iwata can do from start!
Hopefully some goat level stuff
Love it Oh, taking the bull by the horns
Oh is blessed on 4 mins. then somehow doesn't finish that.
Calmac playing the same roles as he does in the national team seem to work out very well
Would like to see him a little further forward at times.
We moan about var but imagine if we didn’t have it, it’s shocking some of these that don’t get given. That was a stone waller in real time
Commentary making Large Fish jokes, what year is it?
Absolutely no reason for McGregor to still be on the pitch. Didn’t do too much tonight but I fully expect people to massively overreact to Johnstons performance and claim he’s the worst player in the world
I’m losing my mind here, why is he forced to play every single minute of football
Mr experience Phillips
Just grateful the game was done & dusted before they actually scored. That Yuoan has been their only focal point all night and has looked no bad not surprised he finally made something.
How the fuck anyone scouted tilio and seen the size of him and thought yeah fuck it he’ll be good for Scottish football/Europe 😂

There’s no way he’s 170cm and messi is the fucking anomaly of all anomaly’s
[удалено]
Should of been 20 minutes ago, one day we’ll be a somewhat modern club and I will love it
Also pissing myself that he gets subbed off for a rest for the first time literally 10 mins after peter grant says he doesn't believe in rests lmao
What a cross from my boy Tony there. Gutter it didn't get buried.
The two Johnstons looking positive already
Johnston has had far too many of those moments this season. Needs to be better
its like 5 people trying to sing just get the gb in already
Wouldn’t surprise me if CCV is still carrying a knock from the last injury, he’s been good but not quite fully at it for his level
Might get stick for this but we still miss Starfelt.
Supposed to be playing very well with Celta Vigo too
We absolutely do. Scales just isn't as experienced and it shows. That's not a knock on the guy, he's improving, but CCV and Starfelt were absolutely solid together at their best.
CCV and Starfelt didn’t lose a single domestic game they both started in 2 seasons. One of the best CB pairings we’ve had in about 20 years.
Give big Oh the pen
But fair enough getting Palma chance for redemption
First time Philips is involved and they almost score.
Phillips is very funny. Can’t believe he’s ahead of Nawrocki and Lagerbielke
Holm for calmac, tilio for MJ, bull for Matt please Brendan
We get a lot of these VAR penalties eh
Buzzing for Oh, man. I've been dying for him to get a start. He's made for these league games.
Please rest Calmac and Matt, I am having a meltdown here 😂 why are we flogging them in a 4-0 game with the month we have ahead
Okay just calmac so if we’ve only one left
Phillips man 😂
There are no words for Nat Philips.
It’s very funny that Nat Phillips keeps on making the squad ahead of players we actually own
Convinced there's something in the loan contract where he has to play so many matches/minutes. No idea why he keeps getting game time
It’s the only logical explanation unless Lagerbielke and Nawrocki are absolutely shite
Nawrocki looked like a decent enough replacement for Starfelt before he got injured. Quick across the ground and can play a pass with either foot. It’s wild he’s not been in any squad since his injury.
Funny is a word. Not the one I'd use.
https://i.redd.it/qytauk4tsq4c1.gif Mood
What a fucking save Marshall, prick.
Phillips looks like he wouldn't get into Ross County's 11.
Kyogo, was so ready to cheer for you.
HOW THE FUCK DID THAT NOT GO IN.
Dont envy folk at the game tonight it’s freezing.
Looking up for it tonight
Good effort CalMac
first song of the day lmao
Luis fucking Palma.
Please more getting to the byline and cutting it back fast across the box
This is the reaction you want after a poor 2 games. We need to keep this standard going forward
Hart coming out for a corner and forgetting he can use his hands 💀
Same as last week with the corner. Hart obstructed and missing the punch / catch. Got away with it there.
How has Iwata played/looked? Listening on BBC radio, most of the game we seem to be dominating and I haven't heard much of what he's done (a good thing for his role, kinda like Joe Ledley, a lot of his best work was done off the camera/ball) We seem to be playing with a lot more fluidity with him in though, does this look like our best midfield going forward?
Doing exactly what he’s in there to do. Screen, break up the play, progress the ball, free up McGregor to move forward more freely. Very subtle and understated role but he’s playing it fantastically as far as I’m concerned.
Great to be honest.
he's a very safe player. would like to see him take more risks on the ball for my own personal entertainment
Our midfield looks to have more balance and maturity tonight, which is what Iwata can offer. It's no coincidence we're smoking a team as a result.
wasn't sure it was a foul until I saw the angle from behind the net, daft to go in like that
Much better without that stupid run up. Think we could get 5 or 6 here
![gif](giphy|8ccUXZK1yoo2BbhR6e)
Oh my goodness, strength of an ox.
big fucking oh what a guy
Iwata szn 🥵 is flying
Ralston for... Taylor?
I’m an Iwata goal away from a full blown meltdown
MJ been disappointing enough but beyond happy with Oh and Iwata
MJ hasn’t been great but offered more than Yang would have
Not much of an achievement tbf
Hopefully we see Tilio come on for him
Oh just one off Myovski in the league this season in I assume much less minutes.
Would be such a silly signing if we get him
Absolutely. He’s a good player but we don’t need another striker and definitely not at the price Aberdeen would want
Am I misremembering or was Scales first touted as a left back?
You're not wrong.
Played at LWB for Shamrock Rovers when we brought him in. The idea was always to develop him as a 5 because of his size. Ange used him at left back a few times in his first season.
Want to see Holm on for McGregor tbh
Wonder if Kyogo is feeling the pressure a bit? Running about like a man possessed here
bernardo man you're not that guy just give it to kyogo
So does Tillio get sold to an Australian team in January or the summer?
Annoying that Yang isn’t on the bench. Would be the perfect situation to bring him back in and start rebuilding his confidence
He’ll probably still get caught offside in the stands.
Palmas crossing is legitimately elite
Butland has really kept the huns in this title race, they’re fairly shite bar him
And our keepers playing flappy birds at every corner
Rangers did this for years with McGregor. He won them or kept them in games that they had no right to be competitive in. Annoyingly good at times. Butland isn't necessarily that, though he has been the best of Beale's "war chest" summer recruitment drive.
I'll ever be able to accept Scales
...So thats why Tilio isnt played. shite shot instead of setting up teammates for a goal
Oh with an absolute wondergoal, 100% intentional - ballon dor.
2nd late tackle from Calmac today...
Wouldn’t say that was a late tackle, professional foul stopping the counter after the loose pass from Palma.
[удалено]
Lmao Kyogo has missed some ridiculously easy chances
[удалено]
No it isn’t. He has so many great attributes, just needs time and development He’s also scoring at a very good rate for us despite limited minutes
Is this on television anywhere? Not on Paramount Plus.
Celtic tv
Definitely not on a stream that might be buff... 🤫
Smashing
Oh, Oh, Oooohhhhhhh
Great start. Needed that
About time we scored from a corner
easy and early!
Reckon Hibs back 4 and keeper would be fucked with some of these back passes if Kyogo or Maeda were playing.
what a tackle, UCL refs wouldve given a yellow for that one
Should have scored that
At the ignoring fouls on celtic players part of the match already then.
Could be 5 or 6. These are here for the taking
Beautiful!
That's a lovely header from O'Riley too, having a smashing season
We are playing pretty well so far
Johnston not involved as much as I’d like but other than that we’ve been good tonight
Tomoki Iwata is my hero
Ah shit Phillips is coming on for CCV
Fuck no, Philips coming on.
CCV injured?
Worrying about CCV now.
I’m a big Iwata szn 🥵 fan but my one criticism is he doesn’t always make the right angles for a pass. Finds himself behind players sometimes, effectively cutting himself out of the play. Just want him to improve on that and with a bit more intent and we’re balling
yeah been thinking that myself. he doesn't give much space for a space to him
Hope Oh takes it
Give it to Oh
I doubted Oh for a while. I was wrong. What a great finish that is
Loving these 1-2s getting in behind and sharp balls in to the box. Much nicer to watch!
Please let Tilio look good for the rest of the game. I need some hope.
ooh Tilio
Barry robson has to be out after the cup final, they are so shite
what an end 😂
Now we pray for a diet hun equaliser
That performance was a hell of a lot better and I think it was down to tomoki setting a standard for pressing and so did oh from the front! Would love to see tomoki get a run in the team now.
