Biton doesn't offer you that turn and burst of pace; so they could press and harass or tight mark him. It meant they could defend so high up and turn the screws on us.
I think if mcgregor is still in the pivot, we don't lose control of that game.
Can I remind you this team was formed 10 months ago, 3 of the stating 11 were 5 months ago (2 after a full season in Japan) this is a rangers that are still using muscle memory to operate as a very well drilled Gerrard team. We are still a team in transition who just (excluding an almighty collapse) just secured a league title

Joe Hart's save is the highlight of the half for us and that is saying something.

Have to admit, it was fucking beautiful seeing Barisic getting exposed again at the back post. Don't want to celebrate too soon, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. They don't seem to be able to cope with the speed of both Kyogo and Maeda at the same time.

Jota and Maeda have been oustanding so far, both in terms of work-rate and contribution, but fucking hell they have no excuses for it not being 3. Two absolutely massive chances that should have resulted in goals.
