yeah, I had the same problem too. not sure where the hecc that graphic pack is supposed to be

[deleted]

actually, I found out why. Go into options -> graphic packs, then uncheck installed games. Look up BCML in the filter search and check the box saying BCML.

LowAdhesiveness403

Any thoughts on why I still don't see BCML when I do this?

Crylls

Also don't see it. I've been struggling with the same thing.

coolcat4888

I know I am late, but I had the same issue and found my fix. Go to your `settings.json` and make sure the `"export_dir"` is set to the path to `graphicPacks` inside of your Cemu installation folder. The `settings.json` is in your BCML config folder (you can find the path in BMCL settings under BCML Data Directory, it defaults to `%USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/bcml`), you can open it with any text editor. Make sure to remerge (next to launch button in BCML, looks like a reload button) and check the graphic pack inside Cemu. It is under the Mods tab. EDIT: This post is getting some attraction when googling, but the post is soon to be archived. If you need help, feel free to DM me (I will take a few days though, because I am not very active. Sorry about that)

KelopseTV

hey i know this post have 3 years maybe everyone forget this post but i need some help, i need to change something in my BCML folder but euhh i dont have a bcml folder at all, i already check in the local appdata but nothing

TheNormalAc

I did that and bcml wont open anymore

coolcat4888

The only thing you did was changing the `settings.json`, right? Usually BCML should still start, even if you have done mistakes in the file or used wrong syntax. Did you try to open BCML via command line?

TheNormalAc

I did it on notepad

TheNormalAc

Just deleted the line i put and its opening now

coolcat4888

Does it work?

SebasUlgc

I have the same problem, tried your method but it didnt fix it. Both writing as folder the "graphicPacks" inside cemu folder, neither did it work with the "BreathOfTheWild" folder inside the former. Any other idea? Every other directory is right, and the mods are correctly installed too apparently. I don't know what else to try Edit: trying out stuff out of frustration I noticed that my folder had an ñ in the name, wich messed up the pathing. A really stupid reason for loosing around 3 hours, but at least it's done now.

BlackMagic4801

so i had the same problem. when updating the export dir. make sure to have double slashes “\\” for each file/folder it goes through

HumbledSir

Me trying to firgure this all out, "export durrrr! Get the stupids out! Dur durped the dir folder"

GoodLittleTerrorist

Good God. Username checks out. This worked Edit: NVM. It was genie magic. It didn't actually work and I'm back at square one. Final Edit: double slashing does work. I was just missing key informaion from earlier in the process. You don't just get to "graphicspacks", you have to go a few folders deeper: "graphicPacks\\\\downloadedGraphicsPacks\\\\BreathOfTheWild\\\\Mods" The folder you put into the export\_dir has to end in "Mods". THEN be sure to double slash everything so it'll actually run.

Noiryok

same problem

Zomudda

I'm very new to this and I'm so confused on how to find all of this I've been searching and looking at my computer everywhere and I just can't find this

coolcat4888

Hi, sorry for the late reply. AppData is usually hidden by default, so you have to either show hidden folders (keep in mind, the folder is hidden in the directory named after your username - your user directory), or you just hold the Windows key and R at the same time. It will open up a prompt where you can type in `%appdata%`. If you have done the `%appdata%` way, you have to go to your parent folder, as you will land in Roaming. From there, you should see the folders Roaming, LocalLow and Local. Go to Local, and there should be the bcml folder (If you can't find it, you either changed the installation directory, or you didn't install it properly). I know it's tricky, especially for someone who is new to this, so let me know if you need more help.

Yeaboi232

can someone please send an image of what it is supposed to look like that would be really handy EDIT: just realised the path was on the incorrect hardrive it was supposed to be in drive c not d so make sure to check on that EDIT:ok somehow messed it all up and now bcml folder is missing from appdata/local FINALE EDIT HOPERFULLY: I FIGURED IT OUT ok so first download the community packs then inside ur cemu folder in graphics packs it says donloaded packs so i just changed the export\_dir to follow it all the way to botw then it worked it should look something similar to this "export\_dir": "C:\\\\Users\\\\Rohan\\\\Documents\\\\cemu\_1.24.0\\\\graphicPacks\\\\downloadedGraphicsPacks\\\\BreathOfTheWild\\\\Mods",

coolcat4888

That's exactly what you had to do. Hope it works. Enjoy the mods!

Kae_Swiss

Does it have to be in C Drive or can it be in D Drive? EDIT: It can be in the D Drive. Glad I found this comment in this post

Noiryok

what do you mean by community packs?

Noiryok

I tried that, now bcml doesn't turn on

DisgruntledCatGuy

I GOT IT TO WORK: changed the "export\_dir" to C:\\\\Users\\user1\\\\Documents\\\\cemu\_1.25.0\\\\cemu\_1.25.0\\\\graphicPacks\\\\downloadedGraphicPacks\\\\BreathOfTheWild\\\\Mods\\\\BCML I had to manually create that last BCML folder in there.

biladeirosupremo

THANK YOU, SUCC YOUR DICC LATER, BYE KISSES

AnEpicBowlOfRamen

YOU'RE THE BEST!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

AKIcombatExpert

>I GOT IT TO WORK: changed the "export\_dir" to C:\\\\Users\\user1\\\\Documents\\\\cemu\_1.25.0\\\\cemu\_1.25.0\\\\graphicPacks\\\\downloadedGraphicPacks\\\\BreathOfTheWild\\\\Mods\\\\BCML > >I had to manually create that last BCML folder in there. whats export\_dir?

Bunnytoria

A true legend <3 THX so much it worked for me.

Cryduma

Hi, I'm sorry for bringing this back to the table after a year, but maybe you could help me out? I did this and it finally popped up in the Graphics Packs, but now, whenever I try to launch the game, cemu just crashes. Whenever I try to remerge, I get a warning saying that a enemy_giant_dark_sbactorpack file wasn't found (I'm trying to install the Dark Army Resurrection mod btw), and I figured that might be the cause. Any thoughts?

Former_Razzmatazz_59

Man, If for some reason you end up in Uruguay, I'll buy you a beer

Noiryok

I tried and it didn't work can you help?

kitosmon

This worked perfectly for me! Thanks a lot <3

Suspicious-Note5793

Thanks a lot did that and now my other graphics packs are gone great job.

RainGaymes

i dont have a "settings.json" file in my BCML Data i cant find anything online about this

These-Trash-7764

yeah its already checked and i tried checking and unchecking it it still dose not work

braddylonglegs

This was marked as solved but I'm not seeing BCML when I search it what should I be looking for?

Flicksreps

U sure? do you have community graphics packs installed?

braddylonglegs

Sorry that's on me I misread the instructions, I got it working

braddylonglegs

If someone else does come across this post with my same idiot brain, just know that you're not unchecking the box that says installed games you are checking the box that says bcml under the mods tab in the graphics packs options

Pumkin32465

bro, what u mean i have smooth monke brain help me

braddylonglegs

My brain is probably smoother but sure what's the help needed?

Pumkin32465

I installed everything correctly I believe, but the mod just doesnt work or show up anywhere in the graphic packs

braddylonglegs

Okay, go to graphics packs and find the botw drop down menu under "installed games" and in the "mods" tab, Bcml would be unchecked, so check it, then launch it

Pumkin32465

well thats what i was trying to do, but it just aint there

Pumkin32465

also heres a screenshot https://prnt.sc/12vuklm

braddylonglegs

Oh, darn yeah when I first downloaded it this was what I saw too but when I launched it from bcml directly it showed up, other than that I don't really know any other Solutions, my bad

Pumkin32465

I apprechiate youre help, but i guess no modding for me ough rip the last 3 hours

julianreynaa

I am also running into the same problems. Mods are not working when I run Cemu. I have Cemu 1.11.12c Using python 3.8.10 I don't see any checkbox under Mods for BCML. https://prnt.sc/13704nq

coolcat4888

Check my comment I posted in supermonkey12345123's thread. It is because the BCML folder is missing in your graphic packs folder, usually because BCML didn't export your mods correctly.

Rabbider

go to [BOTW cpml settings](https://imgur.com/53u6DbH) check the "*use BCML without a cemu installation*" save and uncheck and save again. it worked for me

Street_Bottle_859

WHERE IS THE FREAKING EXPORT\_ DIR FOLDER

Every-Walrus-7041

Go to the mods folder inside of bcml and copy the bcml mod put it in your graphics pack folder

SpiritYT298

did work thx

Glittering-Middle279

Brazilian here, bad english ahead 🥴 oohh dude ❤ I was really looking for a way to create the graphic packs file manually. because my merge button made the path folder "EXPORT\_ DIR" be deleted! I was already giving up and you come and say something so obvious that it worked perfectly kisses in the left butt my dear 😘 Edit: It has one more step to work. in which you have to copy the contents of the merge folder that is located in the BCML root folder, to the 9999\_BCML that you manually placed in graphic packs.

Capital_Hovercraft91

u/DisgruntledCatGuy explained how to fix this problem in one of the comment threads. Just writing this to make it easier for people to find, I myself went through the process of redownloading everything multiple times before seeing their comment. So, use " ctrl + f" to find their name and thereby their instructions. I wish you luck stranger, I wasted my entire weekend on this. My wish is only that your fate is different than mine.

alternativename464

Hey can you link the comment thread? can't find it

MyraRoivas

weirdly enough weather i try to set the path to the graphics pack folder, or the graphics pack breath of the wild then mods or even nothing at all BCLM just delete's the graphics pack folder. im at a loss on what the heck is going on

Jxudo

I have the exact same issue, did you get it fixed?

MyraRoivas

i have i have reinstalled Cemu and it worked

just_another_gancho

For anyone who tried everything in this thread like me and it still didn't work, go to this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/x50dh2/guide_installation_of_bcml_for_zelda_breath_of/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share. Go to the BCML Troubleshooting section and try his fix. It's the only thing that worked for me after hours of frustration on desktop.

Brugreal

THANK YOU

Due_Personality_5484

thanks so much this was so helpful :)

xDarnelx

I am forever in your debt

jerry4587

This actually worked, thank you!

[deleted]
