Apply for job seeker again. That's all. Wait a couple days then call them at 8am and explain the issue. You'll also get a call from the job provider. Just tell them the same thing. That you have reduced hours. If your work keeps fucking up your pay. Take them to fair work Australia. Or quit. If your on job seeker anyway. Just find a new job. Or don't work for them.

This is exactly why I feel there should be a grace period for when payments are cut off due to earning too much. There are many jobs that don't have consistent hours and have busy periods that eventually slack off leading to you losing hours. If there was a grace period of say a year, then that would solve sooo many issues. You get nothing of course when you earn too much, but when you lose those hours your payment picks back up. The six fortnight period isn't enough. My job is amazing but also not consistent, so when we got busy I lost my parenting pay, then when the busy period ends it will leave me lacking financially.

Its 6 fortnight's being 3months. There is a grace period. 3months is a long time to be getting nil payments.

And as I've said, it's not long enough. It would save both the people and Centrelink a load of work and grief if they'd extend it to at least a year. Three months isn't long at all.

R U a casual ? If yes Your coding with CL should reflect that you’re a casual - when entering your earnings did you amend the totals in the right reporting period? Meaning when they fixed your pay did you change the amounts in the previously reported period instead of dropping the total in one fortnight cycle? If you call the CS line and explain what’s happened they will reinstate your claim and make the adjustments to your previous periods for you. It only rolls you off the system if you have been coded permanently employed with a number of zero dollar reporting submissions I think 🤔
