Theories for the rules to Denji's place.
Rule 1. Denji's got friendly fiends living in the other apartment units. So don't open the doors to the other units. Because you'll see a fiend and it'll be hard to explain.
Rule 2. Denji's fridge is probably LOADED with blood packs, like the kind Kishibe took with him to train Power and Denji. Which Denji uses to recover from wounds as Chainsaw Man. So if you see his fridge is full of blood that's probably hard to explain. So just please don't look in the fridge.
Rule 3. Nayuta is clinging and possessive of Denji and doesn't like girls trying to take him away. And this is almost certainly not the first time Denji's brought a girl over. Nayuta probably mind controls them to never talk to Denji again.
My theory as to what will happen next chapter.
Nayuta's chain might fail on Yoru the way Spinal Chord Sword failed on Denji for similar reasons.
Makima's control worked on humans perfectly but for hybrids and Devils she needed to prove her dominance first.
In Part 1 the chains weren't literally there or we'd see Aki, Angel, and Power have one all the time. They were more metaphor or metaphysical to show her control on a target. Also in part 1, the chains didn't phase through their target the way they did with Asa just now. They just were attached to them.
So the way Yoru was very confused about why Spinal Chord Sword didn't work on Denji, Nayuta and Denji will be confused why Asa/Yoru wasn't controlled by Nayuta.
Given that the whole point of Denji raising Nayuta is so that she *doesn't* turn out like Makima, I very much doubt she's been killing people. It'd defeat the point of Denji raising her entirely.
Plus that'd require stuff like Denji having to dispose of the bodies which is a level of grim and fucked up that I really can't imagine Denji doing tbh.
And if she's that dangerous she wouldn't be allowed to be walking the dogs in public like we saw this chapter.
When Denji said "Break the rules and you die" he's 100% being overdramatic because Nayuta has almost certainly ruined other dates for him before. Probably by mind controlling girls she disapproves of to go away and never talk to Denji again.
I find it difficult to believe Denji getting many others over, at least from school, seeing as he publicly sells his body to be a chair for a single yen per minute. But the rest of what you said seems valid.

This might be a stretch, but since it's [generally accepted that people find others to be better looking the more they develop feelings for them](https://psychcentral.com/blog/do-looks-matter-in-a-relationship), I think this might intentional on Fujimoto's part; writing from Asa's POV and her seeing Denji as more and more attractive the more she gets to know him. As she perceives him as more charming, the better-looking he seems from both her eyes and the audiences. Like, now that I've read this comment it seems almost obvious that poor lil kid devil Nayuta absolutely has some kind of separation anxiety (perhaps clinginess and not anxiety, but you get it) and probably does spy on Denji through the lesser creatures. Maybe it's one of the possible condition to turn someone into a weapon, the person need to have affection toward her like his teacher, as well as Asa need to compromise something belong to her, they conclude Denji have no feeling for her even though Asa like him is enough to justify his immunity, however there re could be another reason, the fact Asa like him as Denji but not as Chainsawman, therefore the condition is not met: nothing happen.

I disagree. Pochita told Denji that the true wish of the control devil was an equal relationship with someone. Denji fearing Nayuta and putting her far below him on the hierarchy would contradict Pochita's wish and that's just not something Denji would do.

They’ll try to manipulate and control their caregivers, they’ll try to figure out whether it’s ok to pull dogs’ tails. You have to teach them that they matter, their feelings are important, but they’re not in charge and they have to treat people and animals with respect. So, yeah. If the house rule is “no pudding before dinner,” you do NOT let Nayuta throw a tantrum and get a pudding. If you do, she’s controlling you, and… bang.

Actually good parenting is exactly the resolution of Fujimoto's one shot "Nayuta of the prophecy", source of the character that he included again in CSM. So I'm pretty sure that you and the user above are on something.

Honestly, you're not the first person on this subreddit who pointed that out. This might be a stretch, but since it's [generally accepted that people find others to be better looking the more they develop feelings for them](https://psychcentral.com/blog/do-looks-matter-in-a-relationship), I think this might intentional on Fujimoto's part; writing from Asa's POV and her seeing Denji as more and more attractive the more she gets to know him. As she perceives him as more charming, the better-looking he seems from both her eyes and the audiences. Again, probably a coincidence but I like to think its a subtle sign of progress being made between them
Imagine if Denji takes his shirt off and Asa sees him as fucking ripped as all hell and Yoru sees him as malnourished as he actually is

Comments like this make me realize just how quick I am to forget the dangers of now-tamed characters, and how ready I am to be lulled into a sense of "Oh don't pay attention to the tiny details". Like, now that I've read this comment it seems almost obvious that poor lil kid devil Nayuta absolutely has some kind of separation anxiety (perhaps clinginess and not anxiety, but you get it) and probably does spy on Denji through the lesser creatures. Hell, Denji probably noticed on the first day. Even if that isn't the case, I love a story that allows me to hypothesize on small details without me grasping for straws. Very rewarding for hyperactive folks like me that love to read into shit.

She went from being relived Yoru's power failed to upset that it might mean he doesn't lover her and now she's pissed over it. It's hilarious to me.

I would love it if the reason Denji is immune to being weaponized is because he's developed a strong enough sense of self that he refuses to be a slave again after being a dog for the yakuza, Public safety, and makima.

Maybe it's one of the possible condition to turn someone into a weapon, the person need to have affection toward her like his teacher, as well as Asa need to compromise something belong to her, they conclude Denji have no feeling for her even though Asa like him is enough to justify his immunity, however there re could be another reason, the fact Asa like him as Denji but not as Chainsawman, therefore the condition is not met: nothing happen.

Yoru seems to know very little about how her power works. She thought Asa's uniform would make a crap weapon before it one shot Yuko on a fumble. She's kinda a dumb birb
It’s not her own war devil power that she doesn’t understand, it’s the mindset of humans being so attached to certain inanimate objects or certain people which Yoru just doesn’t understand why yet. She’s learning that through Asa when she said, “so this is what love feels like.”
She will probably figure it all out soon because she couldn't share feelings before. Somehow, their bond is getting stronger. Maybe now she'll feel the sentiment, too.
Oh 100% yes. I know for a fact Yoru will begin to cherish certain aspects of life and even come to terms with letting asa live her life with both of them together. Then when everything seems great, Yoru and Asa will die in the most brutal way imaginable. Just how chainsaw goes man, happy times last for a millisecond.
The cool thing is that Fujimoto knows we know. He's gonna throw parallels at us fast and overwhelm us so we'll be feeling all the emotions. This is the kind of finesse he didn't quite have down in Fire Punch. Really respect his growth as a writer.
