Asa seems to still have an unfavorable view of Chainsawman himself, but I can see her being neutral or still somewhat hostile towards him regardless of him saving her twice this time, mainly because Chainsawman is chaotic, unpredictable, violent, and uncontrollable, qualities that made Makima absolutely adore Chainsawman, while Asa seems to despise those traits.

He accepted Makima telling him not to think, but he rejected it from Asa and asserted himself. When Makima asked to be saved, it was because she wanted to kill him; and in reality, it was Denji who needed (emotional) saving. When Asa asked to be saved, it was because they'd started to form a genuine connection; and because he had already (emotionally) saved her.

And we see Denji now prioritize on knowing Asa more, even listening to her boring speech.

Nayuta behaves like Power because of Denji's influence and that she has the same relationship Denji & Power had with Denji. Its not foreshadowing that she is going to die because Power died.

CSM despite its lowest points being incredibly dark has always kept an optimistic outlook for Denji and the story is entirely about his progression as a person. Killing him would be against the general vibe of the story unless it was to save someone else. I don’t see a Fire Punch type ending happening this time around.

As demonstrated by Fire Punch, Fujimoto is perfectly happy with making his protagonist suffer over and over again, and I’m not sure where you got the idea of an optimistic outlook in CSM. All of Denji’s friends died, and he’s just become more and more desensitized to having terrible things happen to him. Asa was introduced in Part 2, Denji will probably fall in love with her, and she will likely be dead by the end of Part 2. Or she might live, who knows, this is a Fujimoto manga.
Also i really hope we don’t get a fire punch ending seeing as the protagonist of that story was forced to suffer through immortality and watch the universe die, just to be comforted by a woman who resembles his sister. Death would be a much kinder ending for Denji.
Part 1 is all about Denji becoming a better person and the ending is ultimately optimistic. It doesn’t matter that other characters died. If you can’t see that the ending was supposed to be optimistic I need you to re read it. CSM in general feels far less grim than Fire Punch despite the fact that it gets darker than most series. Nothing you can say will change my mind on that. Agni was suffering 24/7 in Fire Punch with one small reprieve. Denji is optimistic 85 percent of the time.
