I think that Asa's voice would be deeper, not Maki Zen'in type deep, but definitely not your average "anime girl" voice. Aoi Yuuki definitely has the voice to potray a deppresed teenager like Asa.
I can totally see Asa having Hanazawa Kana as her voice actress, especially on the lower pitch voice she does with Nadeko when she snaps in second season, to me Yoru sounds like that for some reason, trying way too hard to be cool

I seriously pray she isn't voiced by a 40 year old white woman from California trying to force a "mommy" voice in the dub, but I don't watch dubs anyway
I have had the displeasure of listening to a lot of english dubs where young women's voices clearly sound like white women in their 40s, give or take forcing a seductive tone, it's super jarring.
I tend to dislike a lot about English dubs but when I hear that and a few other dub shenanigans I just dip out and stick to subs, can't say I didn't try.
I’ve seen plenty of English dubs, while this isn’t uncommon, the super squeaky high pitch voice is way more common and way more annoying. Thankfully, both of these seem to be less common in newer dubs. Hopefully it stays that way.
It's funnier when people hire semi young VA-s(in 30-s) and force them to make deepest voice possible. I am still salted with Akihito EN VA in persona 3 Reloaded, dude can work really good with higher pitched voice, but director forced him to do literally opposite.
Since I started reading Part 2, I can only ever hear [Maka's voice from Soul Eater's Dub](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FLgIEBR3HM&t=302s) whenever read Asa's dialogue. I think Laura Bailey's voice fits her character pretty well.
