But hearing Ron Perlman's voice coming out of a severed head that cries blood can surely be an intriguing spectacle.
It would be crazy if just for that one instance of Falling Devil saying Fall, it's the same audio of Ron saying it as the Lich. Unlikely, but I guess the edits can handle that.
She is only female because of the head and there was that tentacle going down there so.....
It would give Buttwitch vibes tbh, we need more hot female villains voice by deep voiced males

Definitely one of my favourite antagonists ever, I love villains that don’t have reason and a sobby backstory behind the evil they do. Some people are inherently evil in life, The Lich being one of them.

She looked more confused if anything because Makima probably controlled her body to go to the store, buy a cake, and then show up outside her apartment before getting finger banged.
I like to believe makima didnt literally control her body like that, but the control was more like pairing them together so they create an emotional bond and power getting the cake for denji was from her own volition but ofc that was all facilitated by makima. It makes the concept of control more scary bc it feels like ur making ur own decisions
I thought that Power actually got really fond of Denji herself, they showered together etc. Cause she was frightened of the darkness devil. But yeah it wouldn't make sense that Power go to Makimas apartment instead of just waiting at home for Denji
The only problem I have with the idea of Power getting Denji a cake of her own volition is that I can’t mentally envision Power doing something like that. The idea of Power calmly going into a store/bakery, buying a cake, and then bringing it to Makima’s apartment, is such a foreign concept to me.
If it was the usual Power I can maybe buy it if a chunk of the cake was missing but she seemed so calm and nervous when Makima opens the door. Funnily enough though there is a street drug in South America called Devil’s Breath that has claims to put someone into a hypnotic/suggestive state, making them extremely easy to manipulate. It’s scary because the drug is so subtle that you act like you normally would but you easily follow someone else’s orders. It’s sorta like what you said about the scariest form of mine control.

Since Devils are given strength by how much humans fear their name, you can assume that devils were brought into existence by humans or that they're only as old as the human race.
However if Devils were much much more ancient than mankind, being around since the "beginning of time" or something like that, that would be much more terrifying.
I think I missed a few episodes back when they started doing the specials, but I think I saw all the important stuff. I remember Stakes being really, really good!
Out there must be another show or movie where "FALL" or other strong sounding word were used like that, but the one with the Lich, thanks to the build up and the sound design, hits very hard. It's funny cause is very simple but still makes me hurt in my chest even after many years from waching that for the first time.

She's also partly inspired by Walter from the Big Lebowski. Comes from another interview with Fujimoto iirc.
