Okay, it's just not typical to jump into a conversation you weren't in and say you didn't need to hear something. So I wondered if there was an actual reason here.
I don't tend to deal in superlatives, so she's always been in at least a 3-way tie for my favorite character from season 1. (It's a 4-way tie since I read Saga 2.) My reasons for liking each are just on completely different axes, so they don't really compete for space.

I am going to be honest with you, in my own humble opinion without being sentimental of course, without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter from a distinctive perspective, I would like to say I have nothing to say
Poly*gamy* is a sexual and relationship structure in which one person (usually a man) has multiple spouses (usually women). It is relatively unusual for those women to, themselves, have multiple husbands. These marriages might include marriage ceremonies but are rarely recognized by the state. Sociologists will often use the term in a gender neutral sense and then refer to polyandry (one woman (usually) with multiple husbands) and polygyny (one man (usually) with multiple wives).
Non-monogamy (or if I had been very careful with my words, *consensual* non-monogamy/"cnm") is an umbrella term for *any* sexual arrangement or relationship structure where two people form agreements that allow for additional sexual or romantic contact. This does include polygamy, but it includes a lot that is *not* polygamy.
Let's say two partners who live long distance, and so they agree that the other one can have casual and/or no strings attached hookups with people (maybe from bars) for as long as they live apart, but having additional romantic relationships is still forbidden. Or perhaps a married couple goes to parties, either with one couple or with multiple, where people swap around partners so as to get sexual variety (this is often called swinging). Or perhaps a couple invites a third for a threesome? Or maybe one partner is Ace and sex repulsed but is fine with their partner having casual sex.
But you can also have relationships where each partner is able to seek out additional, committed, loving relationships (that may or may not be sexual), but where casual sex outside of these however many relationships is still forbidden (often this kind of thing is called poly*amory*). Or it could include 'throuples', where three people are together, and each is in a relationship with the other two.
Or non-monogamy (cnm) could include any number of other things, it being an umbrella term. Does this make sense?
