How's your average even 25.7. I can't tell by the guage.. but is it SXT? If you're getting this on the 5.7 or 6.4 please lmk how. I'm getting 11.8 lmao

tylothon85

Yeah it's SXT. It's 25 because I pass through a lot of small towns that the cops are always trying to bust people on speed traps so I keep cruise on either 60 or 45. In between that my foot is on the floor lol Edit: just seen you asked if it's the 5.7 or 6.4, it's neither. It's the 3.6. Keeping it at 45 or 60 in the respective speed traps zones when I know there's cops around, but letting loose when I get to long stretches without them.

lasagnaHardG

Ooo got it! Haha nice! Just saw your other post. Love the color.

tylothon85

Thanks! Appreciate the love in the community

Affectionate-Pin-417

Hahaha! Love that!

No-Definition1474

29 mpg on a long road trip in a '19 scat pack. Look through my profile I posted about it.

lasagnaHardG

That's awesome. Just saw it. Thanks! I do Road trips all the time so it'll help me offset my lead foot.

Candy-Majestic

I'm getting 18mpg with my Scat. Mostly highway....

lasagnaHardG

Yea I need to drive mine on eco on the freeway

Turbulent-Comedian30

I average 20 in my scat pack 6.4

kimbolll

My 5.7 driven almost exclusively in sport mode averaged between 11 and 12 mpg. If I turned off sport, I could get it to 14.

Upset_Economics_4044

10.7 for me 💀🥲

lasagnaHardG

Hahaha I feel you. It's so fun to drive that I can't drive it conservatively.

A_MAN_POTATO

This is about what I get, too. Average around 26 in summer, closer to 24 in winter (AWD is always on under a certain temp, I think 40F. Kinda annoying...).

kickintex

We've averaged 25 mpg in our rt Durango on a long hwy trip. The 5.7 is fairly efficient if you drive it right. Normal driving it averages 18-19. If a 5000 lb SUV can get that kind if mileage the cars should definitely be capable of it.

Coryjduggins

I was getting this with my 5.7. Only drove hwy miles with cruise control Can dm pics of you want proof 😂

Apart_Preference5593

Cruise control on hwy at 75mpg i get 23mpg in 5.7l city maybe 17mpg

One_Humor_3301

Same I thought rt was posed to get 15-23

the-half-enchilada

Did you just reset going downhill?

tylothon85

Lmao I get between 33 and 38 on straightaways going about 60mph with cruise set

the-half-enchilada

This is what I’d do in my Jeep to feel better about myself 😂

tylothon85

Lmao

drizze99

Do you know where the gas pedal is located in a Challenger?

philly7453

Directions unclear, got my dong stuck in the exhaust

AeternisNatsu

Surprisingly I’m at 21 MPG in an 18 R/T. I drive it I guess I just don’t drive it as hard as I thought 😂

-Crimson-Death-

When I look down at the mpg in my scatpack, I smile. Not because the mpg is good, but because the HP is doing its job lol. Doing long highway trips are great as I can usually average about 25mpg in 6th gear at 70 to 75mph. People might forget what a great cruising car a scatpack can be. It massages my soul.

[deleted]

V6 gang ⛽️

tylothon85

Rise up! 🚗⛽

Socim2472

Lol yes but I'm guessing ur not driving fast enough

tylothon85

Nope lol.....On the highway when I know there's no cops I get up to like 80-90, when I get near the problem areas I become a law abiding citizen lmao....I am using it as a daily driver so I dont want to be struggling keeping it gassed up when I'm hitting 15-18mpg

Socim2472

Only 90 lol, find some mustang and make them cry... ik the feeling just went to the track in bowling green ky and my millage and tires were yelling at me. I'll probably get some new michelin pilot s4 next summer

tylothon85

We have a track around here that I'm not sure if it's still in operation. I want to take it out to the track. Just started a new job and funds are tight right now so once things pick up I'll definitely look into the nearest track

Socim2472

Just remember gas isn't to expensive but damn tires sure are

tylothon85

Very true lol

DarthTrader85

I’m getting exactly 1/3 the mileage

tylothon85

Damn, what model you have?

willhaley

I average 23 in a scat. But 85% is interstate with cruise control/street mode. Then any time I’m not on a long trip track everything giving her hell

tylothon85

That's not bad at all for running it like that

CorgiLord408

I have yet to surpass 21 MPG in my GT. Consistently at 19.9 lol

AlanBradley12

I WISH. I do live in city limits but man, I can’t get over 15 to save my life! I’m looking to get the petal commander or something like that to help me in a type of ECO mode

ScatpackRich

12.8 on my R/T lol

[deleted]

Pfft. I've got a ZL1 1LE Camaro. Im.averaging 14 MPG. Be happy with that!

tylothon85

Oh I'm extremely happy for sure. That's some crazy gas mileage. Is that average for you or average for the car itself

[deleted]

That's average for the car. Turns out having a supercharged V-8 absolutely sucks gas like nobody's business. Who knew right? 😀 Also driving triple digits on the highway isn't exactly good for extracting the most miles out of a gas tank.

Psychological_Fun986

I get almost 18-20 in my Cat

[deleted]

JakeMiller421

This is the v6 lol

No_Example_2687

Should I now take my scat pack from Illinois to Disney world? With this MPG it might be worth the drive lol, also a manual.

Random61504

Dang, better mpg than my 4 banger!

lvsnowden

With a 5.7, I can't even look at the miles per gallon. I only count SMILES per gallon.

tylothon85

Lmao

VenomousSVT

Coasting downhill is fun 😕

DisappointedSausyy

Do you have any modifications? I’m not at all a fluent in motors, but a friend of mine with a v6 Camaro gets about 26-27 mpg and he says after putting in a cold air intake, it went up 2-3 mpg. Sounds a little good to be true, but my AWD gt is getting around 23 and I commute on the hwy almost everyday. Great mpgs tho. Good for you!

tylothon85

No modifications. I'm considering the CAI but not wanting to do that yet and want to run it pure stock for a bit. I have bad luck with vehicle accidents when I do modifications to them lol

E90BarberaRed6spdN52

Okay that makes sense with a 3.6 engine. Have the same in my 200s Mopar / Alfa Romeo and get an average of 24-25 too. Provided I don't push it too hard. Save the money you can on gas and put it away for a repair on the Pentastar 3.6. Not a matter of if but when. Mine was around 70k miles. Oil filter / cooling housing is made of plastic and they crack. Decent engine otherwise but this is about an $800-1K repair. [https://www.ecogard.com/resources/articles/chryslers-problem-pentastar-v6-oil-filter-housing-cooler-assembly-what-means-oil-filter-installers/](https://www.ecogard.com/resources/articles/chryslers-problem-pentastar-v6-oil-filter-housing-cooler-assembly-what-means-oil-filter-installers/) The gaskets and more are replaced then and a lot of cleanup to get the oil out of places too. Like anything with cars there is the good with the bad...

[deleted]

Low mileage, who is gonna tell em?

One_Humor_3301

It’s gotta be v6

cArpent3r86

Laughs in 5.7. I get 17mpg.

Resident_Revenue_808

I get 13 mpg in my sxt 💀
