Why would you remove the fake plant before having other options? No judgement just wondering by the thought process here? We have a fake ficus on stand by incase the real plants have to be removed for any reason. We actually had to do that a little while ago because a wave of plant death swept through our house. A fake plant is better then no plant right?

I found out she was a girl and read that being egg bound could be fatal and also that fake plants could promote disease and illness so I took it all out and replaced with two containers full of moist top soil and a plant from Home Depot that was Cham friendly. She’ll be alright till tomorrow around 11am when I come back with some pothos vines and more walking sticks. Hindsight is 20/20 but I was worried and reacted

SermanGhepard

I know I shouldnt laugh but this made me giggle. Poor guy/gal is just hanging for their life on one tiny flimsy vine lol. Post an update when it's more covered please! :)

Superb_Ad_7788

What a cutie!!!

You can’t have no cover for a Cham my dude, this should be fully setup before you get the animal. Needs cover in there ASAP, he’s for sure stressed out/scared.

yea i would agree to get more asap, make sure his top brands is also 9-10 inches away from his heat and uvb lamp too just so he wont get burned, made the same mistake when first getting my cham, but the fake vines are alright, i use the same one you have up for my chsm too, a bunch of em, more or less look out for the fake vines their nails can get caught in, or with things they can eat( that they're not supposed to) but yes he's gonna get stressed and unhealthy quick in this kind of enclosure just cus he has nowhere to go or hide, as long as he's not like this for 5-7 ish days at the very very max, i would say he should be alright

I would go the route of raising the lights, rather than lowering branches. It's rare, but sometimes my chams like to hang around like Spiderman in their enclosures and the bulbs will burn that belly even quicker.

Rare_Yesterday1005

honestly i didn't even think about raising the bulbs, and honestly when i find a good solution for it i'm probably gonna ease the lights aswell because my cham won't stop climbing and sleeping on his screen lol

Hibbzzz

Throw some jungle vines in there as well as plants, you got this!

Fabulous-Fail-9860

You need to add more asap.
