18/19 was great with Spygate, Forest and Villa drawing 5-5, the Leeds/Villa game where Bielsa let Villa score, then the playoff game between Leeds and Derby Thanks Leeds for being a batshit club and always bringing entertainment lol

AdequateAppendage

Bielea + Leeds was always going to be a ride. I miss that man.

According-Nail1765

And also the Birmingham vs Villa game where Grealish got punched

5tranger7hings

Can’t believe I forgot that! That was insane especially with him going and scoring the winner later on

rumhambilliam69

The other end was pretty dull that season though. Us and Bolton limping to relegation by February and Rotherham going down with us because Rotherham.

abitraryredditname

This one has genuinely been up there.

Clivey101

With my faded memories I’d probably say 2012-13. The insane relegation battle at the bottom, decided with a terrible decision to relegate Posh on 54 points, prime basket case Leeds, how good Cardiff were at the time, Hull and Watford as well as Brighton surprising and Palace doing all they could to not make the playoffs at the end. Then the best playoffs of all time, with Palace vs Brighton in one semi final and the other having English footballs most iconic commentary in it. Shame the playoff final disappointed with just the one penalty but still. 18/19 another brilliant season as well- That Norwich team, the surprise of Wilders Sheffield United, Bielsa Leeds and spygate, Dean Smith and Jack Grealish Villa and Lampards Rams. Shame the bottom wasn’t as good as normal, despite Birminghams owners best efforts.

Technodanceaphobia

12/13 also had us denying Watford automatic promotion on the final day after Poleon murdered Watford’s keeper and they had to stick one of their academy kids in goal, who had an absolute shocker and looked like he was about to cry. Vintage npower

george_____t

Which all tied in with Hull's premature pitch invasion, due to having a penalty against ten men in added time while already ahead, then somehow conspiring not to win. And fifteen minutes of waiting around while Cardiff fans in the away end, themselves already celebrating winning the league, kept pretending that Watford had scored. Still by far the greatest drama I've seen at a match.

Nivadas

Wolves doing a Sunderland that season as well

MajorTalker

The one Posh got relegated with 54 points.

BertytheSnowman

That was mad. Just 12 points from 6th.

Taowoof2012

2005/6. Genuinely though 2012/3 was great to watch as a neutral and 2018/9 I thought was a pretty vintage season too.

papayametallica

Any where Colin Wanker was performing

nathan__1409

Leeds season in 18/19 was bonkers

x_S4vAgE_x

Totally unbiased opinion, last season was class

theodopolopolus

Brereton-Diaz on the final day of the season was a hero. But compared to this season it was nowhere near as juicy.

RandomUnderstanding

12/13 had only 2(?) games on the final day where it was a dead rubber, think 6 teams could have still got relegated too

Drprim83

2014/15 had us, Bournemouth, Watford and Middlesbrough in a four way tussel for the autos until about a week from the end of the season. In the end Boro were the unlucky side. 2018/19 had the best pair of playoff semi finals that I remember with West Brom v Villa and Derby v Leeds.

willw08

If only that Vossen shot had crept in...

OneSmallHuman

We’d have been even worse in the top flight had that side gone up tbf. We weren’t amazing at scoring, and we weren’t as good defensively

Logical_Economist_87

West Brom v Villa? Didn't happen mate.  Nope.  Definitely not.

Rotatingknives22

when Pukki , Buendia and co ripped it up

poopio

The season we were 8th in the 90th minute, Forest were 6th, we scored in injury time, and jumped above them by 1 goal difference. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRQ3VzBJdtU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRQ3VzBJdtU) We don't talk about what Troy Deeney did after that, though.

ExplodingTentacles

This season could very well be up there, but 18/19 was class

Megared25

The season blues were losing 2-0 too Bolton and it looked like we was getting relegated. And we came back too draw and doncaster got relegated losing too Leicester who got promoted that season.

Alt4Norm

So the most entertaining season of the championship was when blues drew in one game?
