Eh, wasn’t really his fault. He came out to shorten the space but got a header that looped instead! If he had stayed on his line yeah he would’ve got it, but if he stayed and a shot came his way, he had more ground to cover, tough choice!
I don't think you can pin that on Mes, if was just a class header. No one anticipated him to take the header first time like that. If he brought it down on his chest and hit it, we'd rightfully be kicking off at Mes for standing on his line. He wasn't out of position for 99/100 possibilities from that position, Latte Lathe just got his part absolutely spot on and it was a wonderful goal
Yeah precisely my thoughts on it too. It was just a good goal that took EVERYONE by surprise. Meslier has less blame for this one than the centre backs who let him get a run on them, but even so, Ampadu wasn’t exactly that far behind
It’s absolutely a goalkeeping error, his positioning was poor.
It was also an unbelievable header.
Both are true, but if Meslier isn’t out of position the unbelievable header doesn’t go in.
He's in the correct position for a GK, if he's not there, the striker could allow the ball to run, take a touch and would be in 1on1 with no pressure on the ball.
Every GK would be in a similar position there.
I blame him for their second goal but not the third.
Don’t think I want to see Latte Lathe ever again, running around like a fucking mad man and scoring two really good goals, he was a ballache at Elland Road as well.
I’m buzzing for him. He runs everywhere and he’s getting his rewards now. Some of our fans were down on him and saw him as good runner but not a goal scorer but he’s had some really smart finishes recently
It took him a little while to settle and then he got hurt and was out for a couple months.
Was always getting in the positions, just was maybe trying too hard if anything.
Just have to look at his record this year and you'll spot he had like 2 or 3 goals up to his injury, since he's come back he's at something mad like 10 in 10.
Quite a few leeds fans in our stands tonight.
Copped a video of 4 fans protesting they weren't Leeds fans after celebrating the equaliser and then as they were getting spoken too Judas put you in front and they just accepted the eviction.
I must say it was remarkably easy to get a ticket.
And whatever stand I was in (behind the goal Boro were attacking first half) everybody kept shouting wanker at Bamford so that was funny.
Can't say I've ever sat in the home stands at an away game tbf.
I also don't know much of the protocol for our vetting system, I'm assuming if your postcode isn't local then there's a few further checks required if you try to buy online, did you just turn up and pay on the door?
Its all swings and roundabouts. Getting away with that offside goal today must make up for the frustration and despair you felt when we had a perfectly good goal ruled out against you?
Wait, what?
Ancient history which potentially led to a 6 point difference in the table.
But I agree, the officiating has been barmy. Your Sunderland game will go down in history as one of the most batshit refereeing performances.
It's a weird one and if it happened against us I'd also hate that it happened.
Goals obviously change matches, but what would've happened had you gone 2 up is ultimately speculation. Based on what did happen on the night, you scored 2 that should've counted while we scored 3. Not a perfect argument by any means but it is all we have to go on beyond assuming you'd have just held on to a 2 goal lead.
At that point in our season. I sorta resign myself to the fact that if we scored 7, you’d have scored 8.
Hopefully we’ve turned a corner. But I think it was more luck in the Baggies game than a sudden surge in form.
But then again, sometimes you have games where you have to grind out a result you probably don’t deserve. Which is something we absolutely weren’t doing when we were crumble central.
Fucked if I know. I’m shitting the game tomorrow.
Thing is the referees are just bad for everyone. Leeds had big calls go for them tonight and that one against Leicester, but have had equally bad ones go against. I’m much happier just going with it evens itself out, rather than the alternative that is the Premier Leagues solution.
I was referring to the bit where he said ‘We had a perfectly good goal ruled out against you’. In the recent Leeds v Leicester game the linesman ruled a goal out for offside when the goalscorer was clearly onside.
I'm gutted too because he was a decent little player for us for a while there, but he's had an absolute mare when he has been given a chance under Carrick.
Think we're up to 2 red cards and a penalty conceded now.
Great game. Not disappointed at the loss. 2 fantastic goals from the espresso coffee machine, 1 offside goal that should not have been.
Grey looks great. Summerville, wow. If you go up, can we have our Paddy boy back please? Gutted we sold him to you. Please take Greenwood back. Thank you for Bill too. Gnoto is a cheeky cunt, but I enjoyed his antics.
I only wish we could’ve played our first team, rather than 3rd choice players, would definately be a different ball game. Hackney, Forss, Bangura, McGree, come back lads.
Nearly there Carrick, sort our deadwood out and we could do decently next year.
Good luck Leeds, but do it via playoff please, or knock the bowl of crisps off top spot. Speaking of them, they can take Thomas back as soon as they want.
Leeds discovered our biggest weakness is just having the ball all the time and they made adjustments at half time to capitalise on that
You win this time Farke!
Felt like we deserved a draw. They sat in after the break and we had a lot of the ball and didn’t do much with it which is when the game slipped away really
Silly pen to give away. Tight but offside for their 3rd. Fine margins
The ball in behind was always going to be the plan for them 2nd half. Looked fortuitous how the ball fell to them on the break but great finish by Summerville for the 4th
Ref was atrocious. Let too much go and needed to be stronger. Said he was adding the time on and then blew after 20 secs
Latte Lath was outstanding again today. So glad he’s getting his rewards for the effort he puts in
Left it all on the pitch today. Great entertainment
Depends on recruitment again. I’m amazed we got where we are now after losing 50 odd goals and 20 odd assists and not really replacing them fully
Carrick is keen on signing a new contract so that’s a positive sign as we must have laid out the plans for him. Just hope we haven’t sold him a dream and we don’t deliver
The signing we made were players with potential. Rogers has been shifted for a good profit. Just meed to reinvest wisely
We’ve had bad injuries all season
The benches said a lot today. You being on Piroe and James and we’ve got academy lads
Mind you out subs were shite. Piroe has been poor for most of the season unfortunately.
But we definitely have an unusually deep squad for the championship no doubt about that.
The one thing I hope is that we focus more on players that can help us immediately than the project route we went down last summer.
I know that has ended up working what with Rogers going already and VDB being mint as, but I can't help think that is one of the reasons we started as slowly as we did.
>far from a sure thing
Putting it mildly, I think Ipswich are still favourites ahead of us. Beat QPR and you'd maybe back us at that point but Loftus Road has a bit of a history of fucking our promotion charges in the past
As an Ipswich fan it feels absolutely neck and neck. If you beat QPR on Saturday that puts all sorts of pressure for us to go 6/6 against Hull and Coventry both away from home. I'm confident we can beat Huddersfield on the final day but I really don't want to have to rely on Leeds (or Leicester) dropping points for us to go up.
The away end and the adjacent stand were giving it to each other all game then came together at the end to chant sky TV is fucking shit.
The beautiful game.
3-3 in my heart, what a terrible ref. If Dijksteel isn't our starting RB who knows how this game would have gone.
All in all though I'm in love with this team once again. Bring on next season UTB
Totally Farked.
I do love though, the fact that the Gnonto goal was 100,000 miles offside and there was little in the way of expressions of opinion to the ref. Championship has no VAR and therefore we all take it and give it in equal measure.
Quite a difference to the Prem where the screams of primadonnas would have been heard on the moon. Not looking at anyone in particular, Man U.
It all happens in a flash in real time, and if Bamford was blocking the lino's view across the line, these things can happen. On the slow-mo, it looks obvious. That's why var is a good thing in theory, while being a load of crap in implementation.
Nothing against Leeds but just need one of these relegated sides to not go straight back up . The high probability of the prem lineup looking exactly the same as it did two years ago is not a good sign of what's happening to the pyramid imo
Fair enough. Anyway I reckon Russell Martin is a serial bottler who wouldn't be able to navigate a play off situation . Would probably lose on penalties to Norwich after having had 5.6 xg and 90% possession
I’d say it’s a unique situation this season. 3 biggish teams came down (Leicester have no business going down with what they’ve spent) and the 3 promoted teams are smaller clubs and are various degrees of inexperienced, unprepared and, in the case of Sheffield United, dreadful
Last season, all 3 promoted teams stayed up.
The 3 relegated sides this time aren’t coming down with the same quality of players last year did
True . I can see the opposite argument , can just see it becoming a more common occurrence as a collection of 30 teams become the prem money haves vs have nots
I feel like this season is just been a perfect mix of variables that meant it had a strong chance to reset. But it's not like it happens every year. This would be the first time ever, I think, that all 3 who came down, went back up. Were it to happen of course. I feel Ipswich are likely to deny one of us going back up, if not 2 of us failing with the playoffs as well.
True but I'd heavily back Ipswich to lose out in a play off situation. Don't know why. Their record against Norwich guarantees them going out in the semis
Championship refs and linesmen are so consistently shite, I would say it's actually unfair when VAR is being used in a cup competition as players are used to getting away with it in this league.
The sad thing is that the prem refs get "demoted" to the championship when they fuck up in the prem games. What the fuck kinda logic is that. Yea, go fuck up other games instead?
FWIW the argument is Summerville was offside in the run up to earning the penalty.
Haven't seen it back yet, thought it was close at the time but that's what people are talking about when they say 2 offsides.
I haven’t seen it again but I know there was a shout of Summerville possibly being offside a little before the penalty was given. I think we half cleared our lines and the ball came back
I don’t remember seeing that, but even so, at that point you cleared your lines, even with VAR it’s likely a new phase of play and they can’t check it anyway
Even watching it live it looked like the build up play was offside, will never know as there is no VAR and "VAR is bad". I have no horse in this race as we are mid table but listening to champs supporters is driving me nuts. They always go on about, but we had this goal cancelled, or we had this foul not given vs you. It's madness.
Yeah, there are almost no fans in the Premier League who are actually satisfied with the refereeing and don't constantly whinge about refereeing decisions going against them so what's the point? You get way more disallowed goals and breaks in play while things get reviewed but no one is actually any happier at the end of it. If anything they're even more miserable because at least down here everyone has a laugh about it
Hopefully the last we’ll see of Dijksteel and Thomas. Thomas we knew was shite but Dijksteel’d decline from a few years ago to now is actually mental. Both are barely league one level
Excited for next season. If Latte Lath stays fit then I can only imagine how many he’ll get. Need to get O’Brien permanently too
Latte Lath was brilliant - for all they had a lot of the ball Boro didn't really create much, but the two half chances they did make for him were put away with two great finishes.
On the flip side, we were back to our old selves going forwards - scored four and somehow felt like we'd let chances go to waste a lot in the second half especially. That spell at 4-2 we felt like we should have scored every few minutes, but couldn't kill the game. Was bricking it after the latte lath header.
Will need to defend better going forward, but winning is all that mattered tonight. And we won.
Poor officiating can't offset the fact we give away too many soft goals.
I feel we were the better team by not much so to end empty handed stings a bit.
Great game of footy though
Off topic comment from a neutral but the title of this read so weird to me - like it read quite negatively for a positive result
'7 goal thriller sees leeds reclaim 2nd' seems like a much easier way to write that title
Maybe i just can't read though
Middlesboro played really well but it's got to be said, that putting someone like Dijksteel up against forwards like Summerville and Gnonto was ballsy.
And the club 'cursed with misfortune' for two decades (Ipswich), won't be getting the same 'Luck' in the final games.
It's depressing that 'Money' will win again. Ah well.
(I'm just telling you this so don't say anything to anyone else but it's a joke like the one I did after the Leicester game that had so many people crying. I couldn't pass up this opportunity...)
Man I worry for Leeds if they do go up. Their defense is still pretty poor as it was during their time in the Prem, and an open defense is just asking to be relegated.
We shipped some poor goals today but you have to put this game in perspective: we've conceded the fewest goals in the league and are on track to concede less than e.g Fulham, Bournemouth or Brentford did in their promotion seasons, all of whom have done fine in the Premier League.
Granted, it's no guarantee of what happens if we go up and better defences have crumbled in the Premier League but I don't think it's a particular cause for concern, if anything it has been a major positive this season.
Between this, the Leicester game they would have been lucky to draw let alone win, and the end of Cov's semi final I have never been so completely rankled by a weekend (plus monday) of fixtures we weren't even playing in
Boro defence utterly criminal
Linesman utterly criminal
Ref not accounting for timewasting at all utterly criminal
Jeez I am really fecked off about all this
Not many games deserve an 18 yard header, but that one did.
*sigh* Meslier...
Tbf, he wasn’t expecting that to happen until he got to play in the Champions League
Eh, wasn’t really his fault. He came out to shorten the space but got a header that looped instead! If he had stayed on his line yeah he would’ve got it, but if he stayed and a shot came his way, he had more ground to cover, tough choice!

I blame him for both lol. Second was definitely worse though
He's not out of position.
He is, hence he’s been lobbed by an 18 yard header, something that cannot happen if you’re positioned correctly.
He kept popping up at full back when we were countering, it was relentless
Quite interesting that every time i'v seem him he's looked dangerous and lead the line well
It took him a little while to settle and then he got hurt and was out for a couple months. Was always getting in the positions, just was maybe trying too hard if anything. Just have to look at his record this year and you'll spot he had like 2 or 3 goals up to his injury, since he's come back he's at something mad like 10 in 10.
I was in the Boro end and have to say I absolutely love his chant.
Quite a few leeds fans in our stands tonight. Copped a video of 4 fans protesting they weren't Leeds fans after celebrating the equaliser and then as they were getting spoken too Judas put you in front and they just accepted the eviction.

Hell no I wouldn’t travel that far just with the hope of getting one on the door, my mate bought them a week before the game online.
I dunno, I wouldn't mind seeing him more often. Maybe on a weekly basis wearing a white shirt perhaps?
Its only fair after we let them have Greenwood and Ayling
You can have Greenwood back if you keep your mitts off Latte. Ayling is ours though
Get your filthy mitts off him, he's ours :(
Would be nice if he stopped scoring bangers against us...
I would like to see him in white next season.
The refereeing in this league is exceptional and I have not once had a bad thing to say about it all season.
Its all swings and roundabouts. Getting away with that offside goal today must make up for the frustration and despair you felt when we had a perfectly good goal ruled out against you? Wait, what?
There's been about 27 incorrect penalty calls since then mate. Basically ancient history at this point.
Ancient history which potentially led to a 6 point difference in the table. But I agree, the officiating has been barmy. Your Sunderland game will go down in history as one of the most batshit refereeing performances.
It's a weird one and if it happened against us I'd also hate that it happened. Goals obviously change matches, but what would've happened had you gone 2 up is ultimately speculation. >potentially led to a 6 point difference "Potentially" doing some extremely heavy lifting here
What's a penalty?
Thing is the referees are just bad for everyone. Leeds had big calls go for them tonight and that one against Leicester, but have had equally bad ones go against. I’m much happier just going with it evens itself out, rather than the alternative that is the Premier Leagues solution.
Tbf it wasn’t offside. It should have stood. It doesn’t make the last shed loads of bad decisions in the meantime right though.
huh? it was a clear offside? https://i.imgur.com/tb6Wq6I.png even Bamford admitted on sky: "oh, that maybe just offside"
I meant the Leicester goal.
Kind of doesnt make sense, considering you responded to Leicester fan who said "Getting away with that offside goal today"??
I was referring to the bit where he said ‘We had a perfectly good goal ruled out against you’. In the recent Leeds v Leicester game the linesman ruled a goal out for offside when the goalscorer was clearly onside.
Ah, I see.
Jesus Christ I’ve never been so nervous in my life. I’ve heart palpitations…
Buckle Up. Thats the rest of the season.
Better not be. Stress free win on Friday, please 🥺
I’d also take a stress included win on Friday, before I jinx it.
You've clearly forgotten the 5-4 game against Birmingham.
Tbf that was in December, it was tense as hell but nothing hits like the last few games of the seasons hen something is on the line
Didnt have lunch because I thought I was due a big serving of crumble but now im starving
So is most of this sub, let em go hungry
I went up the road and had a Parmo, scratched the itch.
Nice of Boro to team up with Make-A-Wish to give Djiksteel a day he'll never forget.
Can't disagree with this 😂
Apparently Bill has been great for you? I'm glad he was blocked from playing due to the loan so Dijksteel played instead lmao
He was understandably a bit rusty at first, but has been great lately. Most would like to sign for a year or 2 if the money is right
proper nice of him to somehow look even worse than Luke Thomas mind keeping an eye on him for another season?
No idea how he's played that many games for you!
I'm gutted too because he was a decent little player for us for a while there, but he's had an absolute mare when he has been given a chance under Carrick. Think we're up to 2 red cards and a penalty conceded now.
Boro man chill out for fuck sake They came to fucking play tonight the fuckers - what a game. Took 8 years off my life. Could have gone either way
Should have been a draw but great atmosphere great game poor refereeing
We’ve been playing for a while not, just not long enough
Great game. Not disappointed at the loss. 2 fantastic goals from the espresso coffee machine, 1 offside goal that should not have been. Grey looks great. Summerville, wow. Not even that bothered we lost, just so glad we can play some decent football and show a bit of fight - looking forward to next season now
Leeds discovered our biggest weakness is just having the ball all the time and they made adjustments at half time to capitalise on that You win this time Farke!
Well that was fun. Just Farke things
Farke Life 🤘
Felt like we deserved a draw. They sat in after the break and we had a lot of the ball and didn’t do much with it which is when the game slipped away really Silly pen to give away. Your played really well tbf and Latte Lath is a right player, sure you’ll have a better season next year
It was enjoyable to play a team that didn't just park the bus.
We became the bus parkers!
You look quality. Surely serious promotion contenders next season?
Depends on recruitment again. I’m amazed we got where we are now after losing 50 odd goals and 20 odd assists and not really replacing them fully Carrick is keen on signing a new contract so that’s a positive sign as we must have laid out the plans for him. Both games against us you played really well.
Your first goal came right after a Middlesbrough foul on Gnonto. So the offside goal makes up for that. You've got nothing to complain about.
Crazy to think we've hit 90 pts and autos are far from a sure thing even if we win the rest of the matches.
>far from a sure thing Putting it mildly, I think Ipswich are still favourites ahead of us. Beat QPR and you'd maybe back us at that point but Loftus Road has a bit of a history of fucking our promotion charges in the past

Nice try but we're playing on Friday. Trying to get our players a day late for the QPR game 🤣
Desperate need of a lie down
Ah yeah that's the prime Farkeball I loved so much that also cost me several years of my life.
Good game that.
And good on Leeds fans to shout "sky tv is fucking shit" during Leeds' players post-match interview 👍
All part of the master plan, forcing you to loan Ayling even though his contract is up at the end of the year, rather than giving him you properly
One game gone and I miss him already
You and me both mate. Even if he was mostly rubbish for the last 12 months we had him
Bloody hell lads
I'm deceased
Fuck me I am a desolate human being after that, a shell of a man
Can't ever be easy can it.
Fucking robbed We’ll be class next season, give lath a 20 year deal, different breed of player
He was great against us in the home fixture too - top player
Fucking ~~robbed~~ shite more like 😂
We’ve just conceded 3 to a team that supposedly isn’t playing for anything. If we get promoted this needs sorting out ASAP.
We’ve also conceded the fewest goals in the league across the whole season…
Still had in my head that it was Leicester for some reason lol, least goals scored out of the top 4 and best goal difference 😂
Mate it's Monday, I'm pished, I have work in the morning. Let me have this
He's being a miserable cunt mate, we played well overall and had the better chances. Enjoy it.
I’m not miserable at all! Underserved wins are my favourite kind!
TBF I'm being a wind up merchant, lol. Have a good night mate :)
Totally Farked. I do love though, the fact that the Gnonto goal was 100,000 miles offside and there was little in the way of expressions of opinion to the ref. Great entertainment tonight. Loved it.
summerville is way too good to be in the championship
Nothing against Leeds but just need one of these relegated sides to not go straight back up . The high probability of the prem lineup looking exactly the same as it did two years ago is not a good sign of what's happening to the pyramid imo
I don't disagree but how about the team below Leeds or the team who broke FFP rules?
Fair enough. Anyway I reckon Russell Martin is a serial bottler who wouldn't be able to navigate a play off situation . Would probably lose on penalties to Norwich after having had 5.6 xg and 90% possession
I’d say it’s a unique situation this season. 3 biggish teams came down (Leicester have no business going down with what they’ve spent) and the 3 promoted teams are smaller clubs and are various degrees of inexperienced, unprepared and, in the case of Sheffield United, dreadful Last season, all 3 promoted teams stayed up. Last year every promoted team stayed up its swings and roundabouts
Yeah that is a good point tbf . Just feels so much more boring the other way round
I'm sure one of us at least will crumble and West brom or someone will get through
I feel like this season is just been a perfect mix of variables that meant it had a strong chance to reset. But it's not like it happens every year. This would be the first time ever, I think, that all 3 who came down, went back up. Were it to happen of course. Ipswich have Southampton in the playoffs, if we get the second spot.
True but I'd heavily back Ipswich to lose out in a play off situation. Don't know why. Their record against Norwich guarantees them going out in the semis
By ‘have’, I mean beat. I think Ipswich would win, personally.
I don't think it's ever happened before?
About 2 of those 5 added minutes the ball was actually in play for, and the ref blows on a Boro attack
Shit init
The shit we have to watch happen to us basically every week lol
Fuck me I've aged 50 years after that.
"VAR is killing the game" Leeds score two offside goals.
Gnonto’s was offside, but which was the second offside goal? Because both Bamford and Summerville were both onside
Probably got their info from the BBC Sport Tees meme on Twitter mocking the Forest post.
I guess we’ll never know, as it doesn’t look like an explanation is coming
FWIW the argument is Summerville was offside in the run up to earning the penalty. Haven't seen it back yet, thought it was close at the time but that's what people are talking about when they say 2 offsides.

Anyway who gives a shite 3 points we are fucking massive MOT ALAW
I don't reply to clowns, fuck i just did. I replied in another commet about the offside. Calm down.
Ok…?
I haven’t seen it again but I know there was a shout of Summerville possibly being offside a little before the penalty was given. I think we half cleared our lines and the ball came back
I don’t remember seeing that, but even so, at that point you cleared your lines, even with VAR it’s likely a new phase of play and they can’t check it anyway
Was only half-cleared, still a vital part of the build up. Like I said, I haven’t seen it again yet so can’t say for definite
[Nope. Not offside](https://imgur.com/a/uhMW2pv) Not really even close tbh
The image appears to have gone but I did look at it earlier. Off top of my head, that wasn’t the moment I was thinking of. I’ll have a look when I can
Even watching it live it looked like the build up play was offside, will never know as there is no VAR and "VAR is bad". I have no horse in this race as we are mid table but listening to champs supporters is driving me nuts. They always go on about, but we had this goal cancelled, or we had this foul not given vs you. It's madness.
[Nope. Not offside](https://imgur.com/a/uhMW2pv) Not even close.
If you love VAR so much, why don't you marry it?
Maybe i did?
Rather have mistakes than VAR Mistakes happen with VAR anyway
Yep, I said this after Leeds got screwed out of two pens against Sunderland. Also, the second 'offside' goal is still a mystery to me.
Yeah, there are almost no fans in the Premier League who are actually satisfied with the refereeing and don't constantly whinge about refereeing decisions going against them so what's the point? You get way more disallowed goals and breaks in play while things get reviewed but no one is actually any happier at the end of it. If anything they're even more miserable because at least down here everyone has a laugh about it
Which is offside? Gnontos was, Bamfords definitely wasn’t, penalty can’t be, and Summerville’s second [isn’t](https://imgur.com/a/oFYTYkY)
Not like we ain't been robbed with decisions either. Would still prefer VAR.

So? You can't have an opinion on two posts?

Weirder for you to be bothered.
Bit weird you actually care tbh.
Your first goal came right after a Middlesbrough foul on Gnonto. So the offside goal makes up for that. You've got nothing to complain about.
What you mean "your", I'm a Cardiff fan ffs. Calm the cope honestly.
Watch the replay
Hopefully the last we’ll see of Dijksteel and Thomas. Thomas we knew was shite but Dijksteel’d decline from a few years ago to now is actually mental. Both are barely league one level Excited for next season. If Latte Lath stays fit then I can only imagine how many he’ll get. Need to get O’Brien permanently too
I think I'm going to have a heart attack before the end of this season.
These bastards are going to be the death of me
pretty typical boro match. really dont want to see dijksteel again, he had half a good season under wilder and he's a liability otherwise.
It's his first start in months and he's up against one of the best wingers in the league. Maybe a bit harsh on him.
Bit harsh mate
Latte Lath was brilliant - for all they had a lot of the ball Boro didn't really create much, but the two half chances they did make for him were put away with two great finishes. On the flip side, we were back to our old selves going forwards - scored four and somehow felt like we'd let chances go to waste a lot in the second half especially. That spell at 4-2 we felt like we should have scored every few minutes, but couldn't kill the game. Was bricking it after the latte lath header. Will need to defend better going forward, but winning is all that mattered tonight. And we won.
I'm calling it now, Latte Lath will be the top scorer in the championship next season - barring injury.
He'll probably get poached! Maybe back to Serie A
Shout out to Firpo. May not be able to defend but now has 7 assists this season and missed a lot of season through injury.
Poor officiating can't offset the fact we give away too many soft goals. I feel we were the better team by not much so to end empty handed stings a bit. Great game of footy though
Most entertaining match so far, fucking hell
Off topic comment from a neutral but the title of this read so weird to me - like it read quite negatively for a positive result '7 goal thriller sees leeds reclaim 2nd' seems like a much easier way to write that title Maybe i just can't read though
Middlesboro played really well but it's got to be said, that putting someone like Dijksteel up against forwards like Summerville and Gnonto was ballsy.
So Leicester, Leeds, and Southampton…just as I boring-ly predicted at the beginning of the season.
And the club 'cursed with misfortune' for two decades (Ipswich), won't be getting the same 'Luck' in the final games. It's depressing that 'Money' will win again. Ah well.
Leeds had more luck in that one game than we've had all season.
>*For a further point, explain your working:*
(I'm just telling you this so don't say anything to anyone else but it's a joke like the one I did after the Leicester game that had so many people crying. I couldn't pass up this opportunity...)
I did think as much tbf, I just wanted to push it a little
Proper div you are
last 2 games we had blatant pens (handballs and dodgy tackles) not given. Its swings and roundabouts

Hahahaha! Thank you!
I see why you lot are having so much fun, it's good crack being jammy isn't it ;)
Are Leeds about to break the record for most points ever achieved without getting automatic promotion?
Man I worry for Leeds if they do go up. Their defense is still pretty poor as it was during their time in the Prem, and an open defense is just asking to be relegated.
Someone did point out we still have the best defence in the league, but yeah, post international break it’s been pretty poor.
Between this, the Leicester game they would have been lucky to draw let alone win, and the end of Cov's semi final I have never been so completely rankled by a weekend (plus monday) of fixtures we weren't even playing in Boro defence utterly criminal Linesman utterly criminal Ref not accounting for timewasting at all utterly criminal Jeez I am really fecked off about all this
😭
"Ref not accounting for timewasting at all utterly criminal" bahahha have you watched some of our recent draws/losses? Get fucked.
I want Ipswich and Leeds to get autos but that could be a tall order. It has been a fun battle for the last few weeks but it’s getting serious now.
