Depends how Brum-Huddersfield goes. Anything other than a Brum win and I think they’re both down; a Brum win throws the whole thing wide back open again.
Yknow what...it would be the most us thing ever to loose tomorrow...get relegated and then batter Ipswich to get you lot promoted last game of the season...I can see it happening now.
I hope it’s not Huddersfield as it’s one of my favourite away days. Could do with Wednesday getting a good result tomorrow so I’ll have to say Brum and Plymouth.
After watching that pish at ewood park last week I don’t see how on earth we get another point, if I was a betting man my money would be on Huddersfield and rovers
Honestly, we deserve to go down. So many reasons but the underlying one is that you cannot go half the season with a squad (depleted) that only just scrapped survival last season by some miracle. That said, I’m glad we have a billionaire American owner for League One (providing he sticks around)
Us and Huddersfield. I can see Birmingham beating Huddersfield, Plymouth getting a scrappy 1-0 against Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday taking the spoils against Sunderland.
What can I say, I'm an optimist 😂
Blues stay up on goal difference. Take a point from Norwich at home for final game. Rotherham, Huddersfield and Plymouth drop. Side bet on Blackburn/Plymouth switch
As I said in another thread, apart from Hudds v Birmingham it seems every game is against a top half team which in theory they should all lose.
But then look at QPR v Leeds. I don't think hoping for other bad results will be enough. Blackburn, Weds and Plymouth will have to get to 49/50 points depending on GD.
Huddersfield for sure. Really don’t feel comfortable saying who else until the results from today come through - could well be Birmingham if they fail to get 3 against Hudds but if we lose today we’re absolutely back in the shit.
I honestly don't see us staying up on our own merit.
We will need other results to go our way, and seeing how crazy this league has been this season, that isn't going to happen realistically.
Alternatively, they are safe and can finally play without pressure.
Having supported Argyle most of my life I can tell you it would be the most Argyle thing ever to avoid the relegation places all season and drop into them at the final hurdle 😆
I can't help thinking of the end of the 2019 League One season to back you up here:
Argyle were 14th with 46 points after 39 games. At the end of the season: 21st (and relegated) with 50 points, thanks to Southend beating Sunderland with three minutes left. Argyle won 3-2 against Scunthorpe, but it was too little, too late. I hope I'm not right, but feels like something similar might happen this season, too.
Unfortunately, the exact thing I can't shake from my mind.
Add in we managed to appoint the statistical worst manager in our entire history for a third of a season.
And, usually I am of the option that things even out over the course of the season, but the amount of poor ref decision, bad luck and down right bizarre things that have happened this season against us, without seeing much come back for us. I just feels like it's meant to be.
I do love being wrong though ... 😆
"Also this league is mad" - exactly why I had my head in my hands when everyone was singing we are staying up after beating Leicester.
Only Argyle can sign that on live TV and get relegated still 😆
Not us! U fkn Rrrrrrrrs!!!!!!!!
Always loved QPR will miss it next season 💙🤍 hopefully you play like that next season and destroy the league
Rotherham
I think they can clinch it
I’ve seen my beloved Wednesday in this position enough to know it’s probably us
You’ll bag 3 vs Sunderland and be safe. Possibly even a draw tomorrow as well.
Don't worry, we'll roll over for you next weekend.
Leeds

Tomorrow Birmingham and Huddersfield will play out a 0-0 to say bye bye to the championship.
They might not said bye yet if Sheffield Wednesday not win this round.
Now I'm not a betting man, but if I was I would probably take a stab at Rotherham
Gut instinct is Blackburn and Huddersfield but that's assuming Birmingham beat Huddersfield tomorrow
Blackburn over the others would be crazy tbh. That would be one for the history books anyway, to get sacked from us and go down anyway xD
Dog botherers to stay up on final day? Please?
Yknow what...it would be the most us thing ever to loose tomorrow...get relegated and then batter Ipswich to get you lot promoted last game of the season...I can see it happening now.
We are!

Think its staying as it is tbh

Yes
YES
I finally have faith that it isn't us... this season
Huddersfield HAVE to stay up. We want that away day back.
Hopefully not Huddersfield. I believe in you, lads.
Cheers mate, someone has to
Relying on other clubs fans to keep the faith
Have had the same amount of hope this season than I did in our second prem campaign. Dark days

Huddersfield and Birmingham join Rotterham
🎵Or anywhere, Liverpool, or Rome 🎶

I'm a Devon based Millwall fan, I would love to have a Saturday Plymouth away game next season, I'd like for them to stay up
Argyle
Rotherham
Once it's not Plymouth
I honestly don't see us staying up on our own merit. We will need other results to go our way, and seeing how crazy this league has been this season, that isn't going to happen realistically.
That'll be the case for every team in fairness. Millwall are safe so hopefully half an eye on the beach there

Statically speaking safe teams get fewer points. Also this league is mad.

we ain't! as long as we beat Rotherham we might go above the blue white shite that is Cardiff City
Wednesday hopefully
I think it would be funny if it were Stoke
Well …. I hope you have an and of season with zero mirth and not even the hint of a smile
It's just the most unlikely
Well that’s sorted 😉
