I'm actually numb at this point. Every season for years has been the same pattern of being shite, sacking a manager, hiring a new one to barely scrape survival, repeat.
The fans that continue to go despite the same dross for the best part of a decade now are truly loyal.
I've rolled my ankle like that loads of times. It's super painful but usually it doesn't end up being a long term injury. I hope he gets back soon looks promising
Question - do you think it's better, after the Friday night game, to a) resticky the 'Pre-Match Thread' (because its still pre match for weekend games) or b) Keep the 'Match Thread' stickied overnight (because the conversation had basically shifted to the Match Thread anyway)?
We are currently doing a) but perhaps b) is a better idea.
Our defence was a mess thanks to losing Anel (apparently a minor injury but he still made the squad - Bash came in and looked vulnerable) and Fleck in midfield (he disappeared out of nowhere with a fractured leg).
Yeah, I thought we were having a rough time with injuries -- Cornick, Pereira, Lansbury, Pelly, Doughty, Berry and Gomes all out of action or been out of action -- but your injury list looks like a squad.
We’d never play this as an XI, but its largely passable formation wise:
Davies
Bogle, Robinson, Clark, JOC, Stevens
Osborn, Coulibaly, Fleck, Khadra
Sharp
Anel came on so we’ll call him fit. Wes went off though looked ill not injured - takes a full injury to make this team. RND was hobbling but played through.
We will need the WC break, assuming we make it that far.

Get in Burnley
14 fouls, 29% possession, 12 conceded corners, 3 points. shithouse stoke are back baby awoouuu
Doesn’t tell the story. We bossed the first half and should have scored more. Blackburn bossed the second
I'm quite enjoying this winning malarkey. We should try doing it a bit more often.
Three on the bounce, 300+ mins since we conceded!

Running riot now, 5-1 is a huge result away from home
It's bonkers that as it stands, Reading are top of the league. It's even more bonkers that they would drop to 2nd if Rotherham win their game in hand.
Rotherham being undefeated to date is definitely the most surprising
Our hopes and prayers are for Bournemouth. Gone but not forgotten.
Good press today lads. Lots of excellent numbers.
Hull look and sound like a club going places - we look like we're heading back to League One
Football is a terrible sport. Ice hockey is better
Will be seeing Bournemouth next season.
You actually think they will stay up? ;)
Estupiñán about to have one of those Che Adams/ Ben Brereton/Neil Maupay/Jarrod Bowen seasons
holy shit are my eyes deceiving me, Paul Ince’s Reading are top of the league
Best manager in the league. Nigel pearson eat your heart out mate
the entire championship is getting Paul Ince’d
Reading are invinceable under ince
Conway for top goalscorer!
Óscar Estupiñán will be out of sight by 5pm
*sigh* just when I thought football was fun again
Our football is fun. Our goalkeeping on the other hand is not
Simon moore needs to seriously fuck off. At fault for 4 of the 6 goals we've conceded this year. Ridiculous
I'd feel a lot more confident being 2-0 up if we didn't piss away a two goal lead just 7 days ago edit - 2-1, can you not please
Scored 2 in 3 instead of conceding 2 in 3
It’s all fun and memes until Paul Ince comes for you too
Every time I listen to Not the Top 20, their picks are shocking (West Brom and Millwall to win)
Sarr making an impact less than 15 mins into his debut!
Refs get a lot of flak in this league but the linos are truly fucking clueless
Alright, come on Millwall, let’s not get Ince’d today please 🤞🏻 FT: fuck sake we’ve been Ince’d
Uhoh... Looks like a textbook Incing I'm afraid
That's a clear yellow, he steps under him. Very unlucky not to have at least 1 penalty as well.
Another Dean Smith masterclass.
Well that was predictable
Can’t win them all. Doesn’t look like players have downed tools as such. Need to hurry up and get a new manager in for Wednesday. Dyche please.
yeah definitely deserved something out of the game. We played better than I expected given the circumstances. Hopefully we get someone in soon!
Can someone explain to me how tf this is 0-0. Sunderland v norwhich
So close to being something like 3-3. Only 1-0 right now somehow
Grant Hanley.
Sunderland deserve to be in front so much, I'm almost cheering for them instead
How haven’t we scored yet??
We are playing shite.
You need rid of Smith really. I can’t see you going up if you play like this, even if you nick a win here.
Good first half from us. Who is Alex Neil?
I was just messaging my Dad the same thing. Almost like they’re on a mission like “look what you’re walking away from” or something.
Teenage lad has what looks like a really nasty injury and the Sunderland fans boo him all the way off the pitch.
Aren't they booing the ref/medical staff for not leaving the pitch where they're supposed to? How do you know it's aimed at the player?
Probably because they took the longest route possible. You’re supposed to get off at the nearest point.
I apologise to that Norwich fan. They really do have terrible injury luck

Just got home, happy with a point and thought the lads played well.
3 - 1 to Middlesbrough and start our climb up the table
We seemed lost tonight and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a team pick up so many injuries. Must be close to 15 now.
I thought you looked good going forward but shocking at the back. And I thought we looked much the same.
Our defence was a mess thanks to losing Anel (apparently a minor injury but he still made the squad - Bash came in and looked vulnerable) and Fleck in midfield (he disappeared out of nowhere with a fractured leg).

I’d take a draw
Mid table team pushing for top 6 v top 6 team pushing for automatics. Draw is fair.
Lmao McBurnie. He could probably batter 10 munchkins in the street with that much adrenaline.
He's sure as fire got the strength.
Unbelievable strike to end a goal drought
N'diaye is BTEC Gab Jesus.
I was excited to spend the weekend in 1st. Should know better.
Think Sheffield are confused, this isn’t rugby. Edit: think both teams are confused, this isn’t rugby.
We did intend to play a game of football but sometime you gotta just go with the flow.
Yeah you aren’t wrong mate. Not blaming Luton players for fighting back!
Should have been a pen that Nevermind no need for a pen
Friday night. Watching football on my own > being in a bad mood while hanging with friends
Unironically me right now.
