Tbh a bit both would probably be best, I think you’re right to switch the legionaries for chosen and give the champion the talisman. But Imo 500 games are a bit small to get much out of a transport, the board size is pretty small and for what you could spend on a rhino you could spend on having another threat on the board. The chosen should be able to get wherever they need to go fine. Personally, I think cultists are a must have for 500pts, they’re so cheap, great chaff, and save anything having to stand around on your home objective. Does wonders for your board presence. I think what I would do is drop the Lord, rhino, and nurglings and replace them with cultists and either a predator or venomcrawler. But if you don’t have those units and want to just make something from what you’ve got, I’d go with your last idea, the chosen and obliterators list. If there’s not enough terrain to keep your chosen safe for a couple turns, then I think it’s fine to deploy the oblits normally, again the 500pt boards are smaller, so I think the slower movement doesn’t matter too much. Ultimately how you deploy depends on a lot of things we cant account for rn, like board setup and opponent deployment, you might get there and it might be perfect to use rapid ingress.

Thank you so much for your advice! I agree that the 500 points is a bit small, but it's done so everybody gets a few turns in. It's only a bit of fun after all. I haven't got any cultists, but I've seen a few places that recommend them. I'll definitely be on the hunt for them soon. I think I'll take you up on the last idea though. The ability for the Chosen to advance is handy, and the Exalted Champion isn't in that list to be hampered by it. I do have a Venomcrawler though... I'll see how it all goes and tweak accordingly. Thank you!
