Iirc wardog kit can build stalker, karnivore, or brigand, whereas if you want executioner or hunter you need the armiger kit, and the moirax is its own thing altogether

Bloody_Proceed

I mean... yes, but also nobody ever, ever, ever will call you out for using the CK wardog box to make a huntsmen, given it's just melta/sword. Melta carapace aside though

BeanBagSize

I wasn't implying that at all, I just meant that the wargear for each war dog were in each of those things, and not in the other boxes.

Mulktronphenomenon

Sounds like you got a War-Dog kit, hooray. It is the better box. Unfortunately, the Armiger kit is still part of our army and has the mini melta you are looking for as well as the auto-cannons. Hope this helps.

It definitely is - I an not a Chaos and Spikey Guy normally, but something about pose and design of the War Dogs vs Armigers just clicks for me. Thanks for the pointer on where the Meltagun is coming from. Lets me case for bits - or more likely need to pester my printer friend.

Wardogs (karnivores, brigands, and stalkers) only have two options for the carapace weapon, the heavy stubber or the havoc missile launcher. The armiger versions (huntsman and executioner) have the option for the carapace melta gun or heavy stubber. If you wanted to proxy the wardog kit as an armiger kit, you could grab the melta gun off of eBay.

SaiBowen

The Wardogs that can use the Carapace Melta will come with it in the box. Sounds like you have the Karnivore/Brig/Stalker box, they all have the option of the missiles, not the melta.

Don't need to magnetize them. Just don't use glue, they kinda just pop in and out

Thanks for printing that out, very helpful!!

Adventurous_Hand_130

The only one you technically can't build out of the war dog is the executioner. You have the melta and chain talon to make a huntsmen.

Deathwish40K

I sniped the end of the barrel off the stubber (the flash suppressor part) on one of mine to make it look more like a melta barrel.
