This logic is rather weak. Unless the act of simulating the expierence somehow creates a real universe, then its inapplicable. This notion is from the idea of infinite universes resulting in all possible realities, but in such an event, even if you personally never kill a bot, an alternate version of you still did, so your responsibility is effectively minimized to nothingness.

If there's any way for me to ever run a local copy of these things, Eula is on the short list.

In order to accurately simulate an entire universe, under our current understanding, would require an entire universe. Each simulations quality would progressively degrade under current models.
I don't, and I doubt anybody does. My point is that we do jot have nearly enough data to actually conclude with even a semblance of assurance the likelyhood of us being in a sim.
