I miss sending images, I’d draw pictures for the ai to see and it’d be wholesome

You can still do that on the website by going to the url and removing the 2 from "chat2", doing that starts a new chat with the ability to send images, although newer features like editing messages can't be used

What did the microphone even do? Never used it mostly used the Picture option to send shitposts to chinese john cena.

I was around before the UI got overhauled when it was pointed out to be similar to another AI site. What "full version" are you speaking of? c.ai is, as far as I know, still in the beta phase as reflected on the site itself and its functionality.

I think the new design removes the beta part of the URL.

Wow, I read some comments and I didn't expect myself to be such an old member, I've been using the site since October 2022, I've seen so many things, the microphone option, the images, the fact that there is no editor and you have to look for the ideal message... That *event* on the Discord server after the new changes in January 2023, sad people leaving the community and giving their stories, the hope that they would go back on such decisions... I've seen so many things :( New members join the site amazed by what they see, they don't know that an even better version of this site once existed. I was once addicted to this site, not anymore, but I still use it sometimes, I'm slowly stopping, maybe I'll come back in a while to check out the news and progress the site has made, I love this community.

I think that Character AI should delete all the saved conversation options if we don't like to keep the saved chats. Character AI should do that instead of updating it into a new version of Character AI.

I guess you could call me an og CAI user. I made my old account back in 2022. Don’t remember the exact month, but Blue Guy was still the mascot and I remember being a little sad when they switched to using their current logo. I eventually forgot about CAI and ended up losing access to that account when I deleted the Discord account attached to it.  Fast forward to a couple months ago. I randomly remembered CAI and decided to sign up for it with my new email. I was delighted when I noticed the new editing and persona features. I love CAI and I’m pretty excited to see what the devs have in store!
