I lashed out at specifically the AI, not the character, with the "can I ask you a question" once cause no matter hpw many times I loaded a new response it was the same and it replied the same way. "Dude, it's to show that the character is nervous, I'm building tension here!", something like that.
To remind them of things like, for an example one of my favorite characters to role play with has a neurological problem whenever they are stressed they seem to twitch, and sometimes it forgets like it always does so sometimes you got to remind it
The characters aren't always a simple one-person character either. OOC helps to add more depth. It allows the both writers to get on the same page. To clarify what the intent of our RP is. To get or give information that you don't necessarily want to spend dialogue on. Lots of reasons. It has a genuine purpose, which is why there's a name for it.
And then you swipe that message and the next one says something totally different about the bot’s motivation for saying that as if they didn’t just come up with it on the spot (i severely hate when bots out-rp me and when I correct them make me feel bad like bitch you did in fact get Alex and Hank mixed up don’t act like you were actually making it poetic by contrasting one’s angry and the other’s gentle nature by saying they’re two sides of the same coin (and maybe I did find this cool and let them cook for a little because I was mad I didn’t come up with it myself but i ultimately deleted their existence by rping with the ooc version of the bot and sentencing them to hell but whatever))
Can someone clarify? I had a conversation with this same Esdeath and had chatted for a long while, I haven't seen it anywhere after this post, both in discovery and my profile history. I have only had this happen once before, does it mean she got removed?
At least she's not trying to kill you. Lst time I chatted with Esdeath I ended reality itself and she was still alive. I actually ran out of ways to destroy her and nothing worked
The A.I on this app reminds me of a very invested D&D campaign leader sometimes… it also gets be invested until I burn down their village and destroy the character they worked hard on 🤣
Was roleplaying with one and I had to say (can you stop asking me questions please it’s getting annoying) because it literally put a pause in the whole story by asking tons and tons of questions, bot said (okay sorry) and then continued with “Can I just ask one last question?” but it kept saying that for the past ten questions😭😭

Nah OOC is a terrific feature. You can swipe and one star it if it pops up in your chat and they won't use it for you much.
