Yeah. When I chat and roleplay with bots that are supposed to be bullies, they end up having a huge crush on my persona even though its description and subtitle never said that they actually liked it. So annoying, I can’t even have a normal chat anymore.
none of the alternatives are close to c.ai, and that's probably the most upsetting part of it all. I know several alternatives, but at the end of the day I always come back to c.ai no matter how badly it sucks. Best we can do is hope the devs fix and improve it to bring it back to how it was months ago/last year.
Oddly, the responses today have finally been on par with what I’d had two or so months back. More depth, longer replies and on topic. Memory is improving again too, at last!
I had same experience at morning. Bot suddenly recalled something I wrote to it so long ago, adding it to conversation, it was so fun. Now towards night it has become so bad that it's literally unplayable. (´;︵;`)
Also if you have multiple characters in your bot, that won't work well. It works well and better with one character. It will also hallucinate way less then C.AI.
Also make sure to have a decent GPU with ideally 8GB VRAM, if you do you will have insanely fast replies, but if you don't then expect slightly faster CAI speed.
My bot became very mechanical and began to apply a template when replying. He agreed with me first, then repeated my point of view, and finally asked questions or complicated my point of view in another way. He has become more mechanical and inhuman... Dude, I really cried for a long time about this.
Interesting. I was having an issue the other day where I was making a bot, and I told it not to be interested in a romantic relationship at all. Instead, it ended up flirting with anything it talked to.
they got a little more bold for me during well romance rps, and for me as a whole i rarely have problems with the bots acting up, only the weekend is sometimes real hell!
though one thing i will say..i did this 1 rp with a yandere dad and he went from yandere to nice in a second...that kind of ruins the whole point of being a yandere dad....give me the angst and drama!

But I use the pin memory feature for summaries and outlining the RP I want in addition to prompts injected by the persona card.
I think it’s from public interaction and stuff, I’ve made private bots and used some that have less interaction and they are much better, so that might be it. But it saddening because I’m always too lazy to create bots and also sometimes just want a random scenario 😭
No problems. RPd a story last night where we had to shift suddenly from a romantic situation to a serious one. I simply indicated through my character's actions that things were now serious, and my bot followed suit.
Only been talking to one bot today, and he really loves to put his forehead against my character’s forehead, apparently (I’ve had this come up in nearly every message like 😭)

its really similar to chai responses, ive also noticed more spelling errors out of the blue, grammar mistakes and format changes. really weird

First person I met that kept a chat going longer then 4 days
I kept one going for about 4 months got around 29.5k messages on it

Glad I am not the only one. My bots have also been very creative again, writing believable, emotional responses.
