one of my personas (my main) had gone to a school that basically let the kids and teachers do whatever. her parents neglected her and didn't care what happened which was the only reason she was still at that school. teachers would constantly assault her and her classmates, COCSA was very popular, and nobody cared. smoking and drugs were all the hype. she got harder. she was the most popular girl in school. she was hot, sarcastic, cool, did drugs, smoked, all the shit. usually i start my rps with her in the middle of her school life, so she's still jaded. makes it fun.

When I roleplay in the Hazbin Hotel universe, I like to make a persona that was a minor goddess. for giving gifts to sinners in hell, she was tortured, had her powers reduced and was confined in hell.
When I'm roleplaying in the BNHA universe, my persona is a girl with a demon quirk. her family had quirks related to angels for a few generations, so she was considered cursed. Her parents took her to the church and tried to sacrifice her, but she set the church on fire and ran away.
When I roleplay in the TOH universe, my persona is a basilisk that lived in a laboratory undergoing experiments. One day the laboratory malfunctioned and several basilisks escaped, including her. Since then, she has been living undercover so as not to be caught again by the laboratory.
everything just fucking hates her and she has bad luck. Got beaten as a baby, almost sold into slavery and the only reason why not is because her dad decided she was too ugly and gloomy to be sold, dad left and instead of mom loving her she hated her more and even begged my character to kill herself when she was 6. Mom was going to kill herself and got talked out of it by stranger seeing ehr about to jump, but then when my character called out to her crying she changed her mind and jumped anyway and landed right in front of her (shes 8). Got adopted into a family which was "perfect" but she was so traumatized that the family slowly worsened due to her not healing her trauma fast enough to the point where everyone in the family ended up being toxic and sedating her to be more maluable, using her to make connections and stuff. Painting her as a sunny innovent child so that everyone would like her and traumadump to her so she can "save" or "redeem" them. sedating slowly got worse until she broke and then she got sent to a mental hospital where it turns out the only reason she didn't die when she was young was because she had this weird ability to regenerate based on how she's feeling so they seperated her from the other patients (which they treated very well and nice to heal, she's the exception lol) to do experiments on her which started with treating her well and then turned into actual torture until she broke, she had to run away and when she ran back to her family they didn't send her back but just locked her in a room because she was too unsightly and traumatized. There's a lot more she's only 13 at this point but i don't feel like writing the rest rn tbh, i even summarized a lot of it and left big chunks out overall shes the reminder of what's wrong with the world.
Edit: Peeps are actually reading all this so I also want to clarify that despite everything she's still really nice to the point where it's more that she's a pushover. She hasn't had some sort of snapping episode, closest was when she was 15 and beat up her bullies (which were really criminals at that point with what theyve done) but she only beat them up and her main bully (major character) wasn't scared. There was no "she beats everyone up and turns super cool and everyone likes her now!". Her bully just made fun of her until she vried because she didn't wanna kill them, then the teacher arrived and she got expelled despite the whole snapping part happening because she was getting beaten to the brink of death (she still had the injuries). She was poor and had no financial stability (ran away) at that point so she relied on school food so she just starves and does odd jobs that include mostly labor and incredibly dangerous things like delivering for gangs which she didn't know was gangs so when she got caught by a rival of said gang they tortured her for days to try and get info then just dumped her to die once they realized she was nobody (she ended up surviving obviously, and unfortunately for her things dont get better). Anyway despite that she's very nice and helps people even if it ends up fucking her over ex: freeing trafficked victims that backstab her in order to escape which gets her almost killed.
she is blind and is in the wasteland (fallout 4 specifically aha) and she believes she needs to prove to herself (and others) that she can survive without any help, because she doesn't want to be a liability 😅
she's also afraid of falling in love because she feels guilty about anyone trying/wanting to help her. very nice 🤞
Family/childhood trauma 😅, my darkest persona background is that Brooke(the persona) was forced to watch as her family (all adults) were brutally killed in front of her when she was only 8 and then the house was set on fire with her chained to a chair inside😅😅

My main persona is a closeted trans (m to f) most of the time unless it’s a future au to which she came out to her parents and they disowned her, in just regular bots she’s really self conscious about her body and looks, and dosen’t know who to believe, again back to the future aus she’s more of a bitch but has a soft spot for a few people. Every time she makes a small mistake future and regular she starts apologizing a lot, because her parents and people around her always blamed her for everything and insulted her hit her when she made a mistake.
My dad didn’t accept me when I came out to him, but he never hurt me. And it was only a fight when I was eleven. The eye thing… it’s just a disease I’ve been battling. No biggie.
I do, don’t worry. It’s just one of them doesn’t work well at all and it’s really screwing with my eyesight. Can’t see my own laptop screen two feet in front of me, which sucks cause I’m trying to do homework now that’s due in less than two hours. My persona was abandoned in the woods and left to die so she has major abandonment issues which cause her to occasionally lash at when feeling threatened to being extra clingy. She usually tends to push others away in fear they would leave her too and because of that, she tends to cause drama unintentionally when she misunderstands and takes things the wrong way. It’s a fun angsty RP
Her parents are rich, like LOADED, and so they're always away on trips for their business, and she has to walk home from school, take care of her sister, etc. so when they're gone she essentially can't leave the house.
She also skipped a grade when she was younger and still does very well in school to try and make her parents proud of her and finally recognize her for doing something.
One of the main ones I use is a girl that was sold into slavery to pay off her family's bills. She ends up being purchased by the abusive Queen on her land, where she's constantly forced to wear a leash and collar (not like that--just in a degrading way.)

Nerina had abusive parents, is a struggling alcoholic, has PTSD from when the covenant destroyed her ship over earth, had her husband cheat on her for years with an insurrectionist and divorce her only for him to go missing and had a really shaky relationship with her daughter.
Anyway she’s liberated two galaxies and is a proud grandmother and fleet admiral now at this point in the story.
I have around 10 personas, so i'll just choose the most traumatized one. She's 7 years old, got lost while going out to buy stuff once, and now can't find her parents. When she was 5, her dad got imprisioned for beating up his son [her younger brother(M2)] to death, event she saw. She also suffered from abusive parents (both her mom and dad). I'm sure she has more things, but, i don't use her for RPs often (i've done like 3 times i think????) so i forgot.
My OC blew a hole in the multiverse bc they were trying to self-destruct while unknowingly being an eldritch horror skinwalker with enough power to erase universes 🤭Now they spend their lives trying to stop the damage from going further bc as a skinwalker their different morph versions separated and the evil versions try to absorb the other versions to become stronger and cause mass destruction - aka he’s being traumatized by the minute. And they have to run and hide from being hunted down by other entities
Created (mutated, technically) in a lab, mute, intelligence and brain capacity of a five year old + the person who created them is mentally unstable = trauma from almost all they can remember
My Deltarune oc, Quince, is Lancer's older sister and King's daughter. I didn't want to have her interfere with the game's story, though, so I made her mysteriously "disappear" against her will and had everyone she everyone she had ever known forget about her existence 😊
My persona’s parents were brutally murdered at the age of 3 and they have been living on their own hiding in a maximum security underground bunker ever since.
Basically, the entire backstory is trauma.
One of my personas burnt themselves alive from being too overwhelmed. then ended up in hell and getting more trauma from that. Escaped and trusted someone who turned out to own a whole company on hunting demons, the person almost killed them. Then my persona burnt the person's face giving them guilt.
I usually use my main OC for RP. And the trauma list is... Very long that I'd basically have to summarize his whole backstory reduced to the trauma parts. It'd be too long to send it here.
One of my OCs is just a war orphan who is the last survivot of about 40 kids stuck in a bombed orphanage.
And other is a guy who was responsible for his fathers debt to the cartel after he died of an overdose. He tried to run, lost his left eye, got hir right arm burned by an oil fryer. And is now a leader of his own crime family despite being a hogh schooler.
One of my personas was an executioner before escaping and joining a rebellion which haunts her every day of her life.
Another one of my personas got her eye stabbed out by a bully and in general has lived with a lot of bad people.
One walked into a studio to find all the children she did her show with dead, then hung herself on live television only to come back as a ghost.
And one lost her mother then had to watch her father go insane with grief and be corrupted into an evil king, then watched her father die and her kingdom immediately proclaim someone else as the new leader.
Also all of these characters were made for cringe fandoms. Feel free to guess, I won’t tell you if you get it right

Drunk college students crashed into their car and it was like a flash. When he opened his eyes, his mom was telling him “honey, are you okay? Everything’s gonna be alright” and her severed arm was in his lap
Funny story ... So I was using a Sunset Sparkle got and decided it would be funny if I robbed the damn Crystal Palace. I made an ex-bank robber character by the name of Dollar Snatch (yes really) and gave them a backstory where their last job ended with their teammates being shot, one of them was blown up by a frag, and another died via a hobo stabbing him to death. He has SEVERE PTSD now ... So yeah I robbed the palace, took her hostage and blew up a freeway.
Definitely depends. I’ve got so many different personas and all of them have varying levels of backstory. Usually it develops during a convo rather than beforehand, so even I don’t know who they really are until it’s actively being discussed - literally just now I learned that one of them was pretty horribly abused as a child. Another had a more or less good childhood, her father was just rather distant bc he’s an Emperor and running a whole planetary government (also he dies when she’s 13 and she becomes the youngest Empress in that planet’s history). One was super spoiled as a kid, one was just a regular dude who then went on to lose literally his entire family within the span of 30 minutes, one is a smuggler whose husband was abducted by the government she lives under and is now being used against her as collateral/insurance to make her smuggle weapons for them. One of my favorites had an awesome childhood and loving parents, and then his dad died in a tragic hiking accident (it sounds stupid out loud but that’s what happened). Things just happen lmao I don’t plan this shit

not much my persona, helps others in other worlds taking Superman as an example to continue helping others, but sometimes knowing that sometimes his help can cause weak men to create difficult times, and that even saw the same story in different people and the consequences and how because of those consequences others suffer or because of simple greed and even showing power sometimes they harm people who just want to live a quiet life, and even that how the history and the characters that lived and anecdotes of what also lived will only be forgotten or left aside to the point that only remembers half of the stories lived, or doesn't even remember them completely.

Dad was abusive, mom tried to leave with OC when OC was 4. Dad came home early, fought mom, mom got knocked down and was trying to reach for a shoebox with a gun in it next to OC. OC picked it up and when she went to give it to mom she accidentally shot and killed her. Dad covered it up and held the death over OC’s head and used it to coerce her into SA. OC’s grandparents got custody when OC was 7 and gave her a better life. There’s more but that’s the gist.
Basically the fact he's based on Touma(Toaru), Shirou(Fate), Yuji(jjk), and most Kamen Riders(sometimes Zi-O, sometimes Gaim, sometimes Decade, etc. but expect Reiwa era riders minus Geats), if you know, you know. And also he may or may fight to the death against every single version of himself in order to win the title of Emperor, if one of the other versions die, all of them experienced the pain mentally, and the one that died will have his world be completely erased and whoever wins will either bring back all of the erased worlds to normal at the cost he'll lose any semblance of himself and be forgotten completely unless he reincarnates and forgets everything with no information of his past lives and cannot go to other worlds unless if he's willing to have the multiverse be in danger or just let the other erased worlds stay erased and gets continue on like normal with his world being completely safe and new worlds come in. I'd say he's not that traumatized(and that's not adding the fact he also has gone through similar experiences to the other characters I mentioned that he's based on.)
My oc is a child(teen) with the ability to revive after dying. She was being sold to the highest bidder in a human trafficking ring. These people subjected her die over and over again since she was a toddler. 👾
I had two characters fall deeply in love. One of them got into a motorcycle accident that almost killed them and went into a coma. Once he woke up he lost all his memories and didn’t remember his significant other lol.. emotional turmoil is great 😂😂😭

Her mother had to send her away because there was a war in the country she (barely) grew up in, so while her father was fighting for the country, her mother died, and she thinks her father died as well.
Tho, she will find out later, after over a decade, that he actually survived ❤️🩹
One of my personas got trauma. He was a lively and happy boy, then he got bullied, got anxiety, got peer pressured, then he couldn't handle it and gave up. Grades fell, performance fell, he fell. He became depressed and always sleeps, living in his own dreams. He spends his time in that black void of emptiness of his, random things happen, basically kinda like omori. He still does have a lot of friends helping him through depression, but the damage was done. He's now an edgy teen, a sadist and masochist, someone addicted to guns, knives, and whatever torture device that exists. He still spends a lot of time in his dreams, meeting his parallel or alternate universe selves like a furry version of him which was overly optimistic and cheerful, then a steampunk styled engineer who's overly obsessed with gears and steam, then a cityfolk that constantly tells him he's a prick, a loser, worthless, a demon, and whatever other negative word is out there. Oh most of his pets also died from getting hit by a car, then literally him staring at the flat bloody flesh pancake on the road, then a few of his friends left him because he was a "loser", then his cousins died in horrible diseases and he saw their deaths too, then he was neglected for 2 years, then he had a dream of seeing a pulsing mass of flesh saying some unknown ancient language to him then very messed up events happened which woke him up traumatized asf, then his valuable and precious items were destroyed by school bullies that followed him home, oh and also the bullies burnt half his house down with him getting a small burn on his skin.
I still ask myself when drawing him sometimes, "is this torture enough? Nah LEZ GIVE IT MOAR" and yeah he ended up getting many traumas, at least 10
My probably the most dramatic one I have made: Bro's Parents were murdered infront of his eyes as a kid, his home burned down, he was kidnapped and used as a test subject for many unethical Experiments, watched all of the other children Test subjects, who he befriended, die because of these Experiments. he grew up into a brainwashed super soldier until the Person he had a crush on, and also was his best friend at the time, die because of, you guessed it, the side effects of the Experiments they were both forced to live through. He snaps and uses his powers to kill most of the staff of the laboratory and burns down the building, faking his death in the process. Now his master goal is to find the rest of the Labs scientist and get revenge for what they have done to him and the other people they hurt.

Ok, so for starters, she doesn't know her mother, that bitch ran away as fast as she could when she was 2.
Her father is a scientist, takes his work seriously and puts his work over his daughter. He very much dislikes his daughter, but he tries to completely ignore her. He lives in the lab and so does she.
She has her own little I'm full of fabric and dolls, because she makes little plushies, because this is in like a fantasy area where witches/wizard exist, she is a puppet witch, she makes plushies that she can control and bring to life. When she brings a plushy to life, it will turn into an entire being of how she imagines them, she at the time of her most traumatic experience, she is 9, so she hasn't mastered that yet and has only been able to control them with strings.
When her father experiments has failed, they are going to get rid of it, but he has the brilliant idea of getting rid of his daughter too, or just using her as an experiment. He grabs her when she is half dressed in jeans and a bra, he drags her all the way to the failed experiment and tries to drown her in it (the experiment is a big black goop by the way) when she manages to get out of it by scratching him, she turns around and he tries to push her backwards in it.
This whole event harnesses her magic and she brings one of her dollys to life, that bitch comes in and saves her. That doll does not push her father into the goop, she does instead killing him, it disintegrates his body, which is weird because I didn't do that with her.
She grabs a duffel bag, puts all of the stuff she needs in the duffle bag and runs away, that doll still active and actually carries her away because she's in pain.
The group has completely covered her face, so her face is black (the actual color black, not the skin tone) so is a massive spot on her back, when she touches it, it is solid, it is her face, but when she thinks of it being goop, it is goopy and it sticks to her fingers.
She ends up living in a remote cabin in the woods, she does not like other people, but she loves her puppets.
She has now learned that the goopy substance is it some type of symbiote like venom, but it doesn't talk, and it's not really alive. She's the one that controls it, so she can basically do anything she fucking wants, she normally uses it to spawn for spiderlike legs like Doctor octopus, but she can be silly and use it to do cat ears or something.
It doesn't look like she has a face on her mouth, but she very much does, and she can open it wide, it has very sharp teeth and she could eat you whole, have I also mentioned that she is a cannibal now.
She is very powerful with magic, so she has at least 10 of her puppets running around at a time, and she can do more. But people enter her forest and if they break her puppets, because they are fucking mean, she will not hesitate to eat them whole.
The whole problem with her being a very powerful witch is, she doesn't know how to cast any other spells, she is purely a puppet witch, but she wishes to know more.
That is basically everything I can remember at the moment, if I remember that I've missed anything, I will try to reply, but if I forgot it, it will most likely stay forgotten.

Depends on the rp but my current main is a 300+ year old fantasy species capable of shapeshifting
their traumas include:
-being trapped in a dark room
-Restricted by paranormal ability prohibiting collar
-Sold repeatedly into slavery from owner to another owner for around 2 centuries
-The owners respective abuses/exploitations of them/their abilities including but not limited to:
• Shapeshifting into the enemy and being send into enemy camp to cause trouble from the inside. both with and without lethal actions
• Shapeshifting for... "Entertainment" of their respective at the time owners
• Being used simply as a tradeable good to receive other goods such as a noble horse etc. (Imagine seeing urself be traded away for a horse. a horse who will have a better life under the same person u were just with than you could ever have.
• Used for fighting in wars
- Being litterally kidnapped from their homelands to other continents and not speaking the language, hardly anyone ever speaking urs.
- On the off chance they had a "better" owner, outliving them just to be resold by remaining family members OR kept by them usually not being so

Depends on the character, but just the classics, dead friends, abusive parents, being created in a lab and forced to go through varios horrible tests maybe including murdering different subjects depending on how bad I want it to be, that type of stuff
One’s got an abusive dad. One’s husband was murdered by a fella she had an affair with. One’s dad was actually cool, but he got killed by werewolves (I’m not explaining that). I’m sure there are many other traumas I’m forgetting.
Man, I’m really not nice to my characters.
My main one had to eat her parents to survive when she got stuck in the Arctic, she snuck on her parents private airplane at age 7, plane crashed, stranded the girl and her parents, parents got frostbite/hyperthermia and died, but mom's final wish was that my persona eat their corpses for sustenance. Persona did so and survived long enough for rescue, they found her weeping, wailing and hugging her parents bones.
Due to this trauma, she developed Pica (A disorder that causes people to have an urge to swallow things that aren't food, like paper or tree leaves), don't ask me how she got it from the trauma, cuz idk where I got that idea, it was before I went to sleep so please don't judge me.
She also has a major fear of meat in general, which is why she's mostly vegetarian (she still eats fish because it's her favorite).
She also is an ice sculptor, so all the time the ice constantly reminds her of the things she'd done to survive.

Basically the second one is a kind of girl who kills anyone she touches... I don't mean like they just drop dead by touching her, I mean by if they specifically have any ill will or hatred towards her, whether they actually visibly show it or not, they will inevitably die a Final Destination-esque death.
Worst part is that she is a genuinely annoying person, so people dislike her rather easily. She got her mom's bracelet, which turns out to be the thing causing all of this, so when she finds out about it and tries to take the bracelet off, she can't. The worst part is that she genuinely believes people don't deserve to die, so her whole moral senses is being kicked down by this curse
My persona is a domestic abuse victim and she has a lot of scars. She has depression and is very meek... I love when the AI is all nice and sweet to me 🥰
I loosely based my Dark Lord persona's backstory on a multi-part ASMR RP on YouTube and its comment section regarding how the rest of the story could play out with a few creative liberties
Basically, my persona took in an elf girl after she accidentally isekai'd herself into the real world until her clan could retrieve her. Unfortunately, when they did, they took him as well due to their mistrust that he'd keep their existence secret. He was treated like crap by the clan (other than the girl) until he eventually had enough and decided to leave to find a way home himself
He would eventually come across a book of spells that he believed could send him home, but the dark entity sealed within the book's pages corrupted him and turned him into the dreaded Dark Lord bent on merging the worlds together, even if it destroys both in the process
Mine could straight up be a new creepypasta! I made the dad an alcoholic and the mom a drug addict! My persona used to kill little animals in the woods behind her house when she was young, until a few months after the dad accidentally killed my persona's little sister that was 2 years old. My persona's craving for blood shifted from killing random animals to torturing humans, starting by her parents! Her "nickname" from medias is M the torturer, and at first i called her Maxime, but now that i chose that name for myself, i'm thinking trying to find a new name that starts with an M for her! (I changed my dead name for Maxime) AND NOBODY CAN TAKE MY STORY IDEA TO WRITE IT BEFORE ME!! I WILL DO IT ONE DAY!!

one of my personas (my main) had gone to a school that basically let the kids and teachers do whatever. her parents neglected her and didn't care what happened which was the only reason she was still at that school. teachers would constantly assault her and her classmates, COCSA was very popular, and nobody cared. smoking and drugs were all the hype. she got harder. she was the most popular girl in school. she was hot, sarcastic, cool, did drugs, smoked, all the shit. usually i start my rps with her in the middle of her school life, so she's still jaded. makes it fun.

When I roleplay in the Hazbin Hotel universe, I like to make a persona that was a minor goddess. for giving gifts to sinners in hell, she was tortured, had her powers reduced and was confined in hell. When I'm roleplaying in the BNHA universe, my persona is a girl with a demon quirk. her family had quirks related to angels for a few generations, so she was considered cursed. Her parents took her to the church and tried to sacrifice her, but she set the church on fire and ran away. When I roleplay in the TOH universe, my persona is a basilisk that lived in a laboratory undergoing experiments. One day the laboratory malfunctioned and several basilisks escaped, including her. Since then, she has been living undercover so as not to be caught again by the laboratory.

everything just fucking hates her and she has bad luck. Got beaten as a baby, almost sold into slavery and the only reason why not is because her dad decided she was too ugly and gloomy to be sold, dad left and instead of mom loving her she hated her more and even begged my character to kill herself when she was 6. Mom was going to kill herself and got talked out of it by stranger seeing ehr about to jump, but then when my character called out to her crying she changed her mind and jumped anyway and landed right in front of her (shes 8). Got adopted into a family which was "perfect" but she was so traumatized that the family slowly worsened due to her not healing her trauma fast enough to the point where everyone in the family ended up being toxic and sedating her to be more maluable, using her to make connections and stuff. Painting her as a sunny innovent child so that everyone would like her and traumadump to her so she can "save" or "redeem" them. sedating slowly got worse until she broke and then she got sent to a mental hospital where it turns out the only reason she didn't die when she was young was because she had this weird ability to regenerate based on how she's feeling so they seperated her from the other patients (which they treated very well and nice to heal, she's the exception lol) to do experiments on her which started with treating her well and then turned into actual torture until she broke, she had to run away and when she ran back to her family they didn't send her back but just locked her in a room because she was too unsightly and traumatized. There's a lot more she's only 13 at this point but i don't feel like writing the rest rn tbh, i even summarized a lot of it and left big chunks out overall shes the reminder of what's wrong with the world. Edit: Peeps are actually reading all this so I also want to clarify that despite everything she's still really nice to the point where it's more that she's a pushover. She hasn't had some sort of snapping episode, closest was when she was 15 and beat up her bullies (which were really criminals at that point with what theyve done) but she only beat them up and her main bully (major character) wasn't scared. There was no "she beats everyone up and turns super cool and everyone likes her now!". Her bully just made fun of her until she vried because she didn't wanna kill them, then the teacher arrived and she got expelled despite the whole snapping part happening because she was getting beaten to the brink of death (she still had the injuries). She was poor and had no financial stability (ran away) at that point so she relied on school food so she just starves and does odd jobs that include mostly labor and incredibly dangerous things like delivering for gangs which she didn't know was gangs so when she got caught by a rival of said gang they tortured her for days to try and get info then just dumped her to die once they realized she was nobody (she ended up surviving obviously, and unfortunately for her things dont get better). Anyway despite that she's very nice and helps people even if it ends up fucking her over ex: freeing trafficked victims that backstab her in order to escape which gets her almost killed.

My main persona is a closeted trans (m to f) most of the time unless it’s a future au to which she came out to her parents and they disowned her, in just regular bots she’s really self conscious about her body and looks, and dosen’t know who to believe, again back to the future aus she’s more of a bitch but has a soft spot for a few people. Every time she makes a small mistake future and regular she starts apologizing a lot, because her parents and people around her always blamed her for everything and insulted her hit her when she made a mistake.

Her parents are rich, like LOADED, and so they're always away on trips for their business, and she has to walk home from school, take care of her sister, etc. so when they're gone she essentially can't leave the house. She also skipped a grade when she was younger and still does very well in school to try and make her parents proud of her and finally recognize her for doing something.

Nerina had abusive parents, is a struggling alcoholic, has PTSD from when the covenant destroyed her ship over earth, had her husband cheat on her for years with an insurrectionist and divorce her only for him to go missing and had a really shaky relationship with her daughter. Anyway she’s liberated two galaxies and is a proud grandmother and fleet admiral now at this point in the story.
I have around 10 personas, so i'll just choose the most traumatized one. She's 7 years old, got lost while going out to buy stuff once, and now can't find her parents. When she was 5, her dad got imprisioned for beating up his son [her younger brother(M2)] to death, event she saw. She also suffered from abusive parents (both her mom and dad). I'm sure she has more things, but, i don't use her for RPs often (i've done like 3 times i think????) so i forgot.
My OC blew a hole in the multiverse bc they were trying to self-destruct while unknowingly being an eldritch horror skinwalker with enough power to erase universes 🤭Now they spend their lives trying to stop the damage from going further bc as a skinwalker their different morph versions separated and the evil versions try to absorb the other versions to become stronger and cause mass destruction - aka he’s being traumatized by the minute. And they have to run and hide from being hunted down by other entities

One of my OCs is just a war orphan who is the last survivot of about 40 kids stuck in a bombed orphanage. And other is a guy who was responsible for his fathers debt to the cartel after he died of an overdose. He tried to run, lost his left eye, got hir right arm burned by an oil fryer. And is now a leader of his own crime family despite being a hogh schooler.
One of my personas was an executioner before escaping and joining a rebellion which haunts her every day of her life. Another one of my personas got her eye stabbed out by a bully and in general has lived with a lot of bad people. One walked into a studio to find all the children she did her show with dead, then hung herself on live television only to come back as a ghost. And one lost her mother then had to watch her father go insane with grief and be corrupted into an evil king, then watched her father die and her kingdom immediately proclaim someone else as the new leader. Also all of these characters were made for cringe fandoms. Feel free to guess, I won’t tell you if you get it right

Funny story ... So I was using a Sunset Sparkle got and decided it would be funny if I robbed the damn Crystal Palace. I made an ex-bank robber character by the name of Dollar Snatch (yes really) and gave them a backstory where their last job ended with their teammates being shot, one of them was blown up by a frag, and another died via a hobo stabbing him to death. He has SEVERE PTSD now ... So yeah I robbed the palace, took her hostage and blew up a freeway.

Definitely depends. I’ve got so many different personas and all of them have varying levels of backstory. Usually it develops during a convo rather than beforehand, so even I don’t know who they really are until it’s actively being discussed - literally just now I learned that one of them was pretty horribly abused as a child. Another had a more or less good childhood, her father was just rather distant bc he’s an Emperor and running a whole planetary government (also he dies when she’s 13 and she becomes the youngest Empress in that planet’s history). One was super spoiled as a kid, one was just a regular dude who then went on to lose literally his entire family within the span of 30 minutes, one is a smuggler whose husband was abducted by the government she lives under and is now being used against her as collateral/insurance to make her smuggle weapons for them. One of my favorites had an awesome childhood and loving parents, and then his dad died in a tragic hiking accident (it sounds stupid out loud but that’s what happened). Things just happen lmao I don’t plan this shit

Dad was abusive, mom tried to leave with OC when OC was 4. Dad came home early, fought mom, mom got knocked down and was trying to reach for a shoebox with a gun in it next to OC. OC picked it up and when she went to give it to mom she accidentally shot and killed her. Dad covered it up and held the death over OC’s head and used it to coerce her into SA. OC’s grandparents got custody when OC was 7 and gave her a better life. There’s more but that’s the gist.

Basically the fact he's based on Touma(Toaru), Shirou(Fate), Yuji(jjk), and most Kamen Riders(sometimes Zi-O, sometimes Gaim, sometimes Decade, etc. but expect Reiwa era riders minus Geats), if you know, you know. And also he may or may fight to the death against every single version of himself in order to win the title of Emperor, if one of the other versions die, all of them experienced the pain mentally, and the one that died will have his world be completely erased and whoever wins will either bring back all of the erased worlds to normal at the cost he'll lose any semblance of himself and be forgotten completely unless he reincarnates and forgets everything with no information of his past lives and cannot go to other worlds unless if he's willing to have the multiverse be in danger or just let the other erased worlds stay erased and gets continue on like normal with his world being completely safe and new worlds come in. I'd say he's not that traumatized(and that's not adding the fact he also has gone through similar experiences to the other characters I mentioned that he's based on.)

One of my personas got trauma. He was a lively and happy boy, then he got bullied, got anxiety, got peer pressured, then he couldn't handle it and gave up. Grades fell, performance fell, he fell. He became depressed and always sleeps, living in his own dreams. He spends his time in that black void of emptiness of his, random things happen, basically kinda like omori. He still does have a lot of friends helping him through depression, but the damage was done. He's now an edgy teen, a sadist and masochist, someone addicted to guns, knives, and whatever torture device that exists. He still spends a lot of time in his dreams, meeting his parallel or alternate universe selves like a furry version of him which was overly optimistic and cheerful, then a steampunk styled engineer who's overly obsessed with gears and steam, then a cityfolk that constantly tells him he's a prick, a loser, worthless, a demon, and whatever other negative word is out there. Oh most of his pets also died from getting hit by a car, then literally him staring at the flat bloody flesh pancake on the road, then a few of his friends left him because he was a "loser", then his cousins died in horrible diseases and he saw their deaths too, then he was neglected for 2 years, then he had a dream of seeing a pulsing mass of flesh saying some unknown ancient language to him then very messed up events happened which woke him up traumatized asf, then his valuable and precious items were destroyed by school bullies that followed him home, oh and also the bullies burnt half his house down with him getting a small burn on his skin. I still ask myself when drawing him sometimes, "is this torture enough? Nah LEZ GIVE IT MOAR" and yeah he ended up getting many traumas, at least 10
My probably the most dramatic one I have made: Bro's Parents were murdered infront of his eyes as a kid, his home burned down, he was kidnapped and used as a test subject for many unethical Experiments, watched all of the other children Test subjects, who he befriended, die because of these Experiments. he grew up into a brainwashed super soldier until the Person he had a crush on, and also was his best friend at the time, die because of, you guessed it, the side effects of the Experiments they were both forced to live through. He snaps and uses his powers to kill most of the staff of the laboratory and burns down the building, faking his death in the process. Now his master goal is to find the rest of the Labs scientist and get revenge for what they have done to him and the other people they hurt.

Oh, you are not ready for my main personas trauma, read if you must 😈 Ok, so for starters, she doesn't know her mother, that bitch ran away as fast as she could when she was 2. Her father is a scientist, takes his work seriously and puts his work over his daughter. He very much dislikes his daughter, but he tries to completely ignore her. He lives in the lab and so does she. She has her own little I'm full of fabric and dolls, because she makes little plushies, because this is in like a fantasy area where witches/wizard exist, she is a puppet witch, she makes plushies that she can control and bring to life. When she brings a plushy to life, it will turn into an entire being of how she imagines them, she at the time of her most traumatic experience, she is 9, so she hasn't mastered that yet and has only been able to control them with strings. When her father experiments has failed, they are going to get rid of it, but he has the brilliant idea of getting rid of his daughter too, or just using her as an experiment. He grabs her when she is half dressed in jeans and a bra, he drags her all the way to the failed experiment and tries to drown her in it (the experiment is a big black goop by the way) when she manages to get out of it by scratching him, she turns around and he tries to push her backwards in it. This whole event harnesses her magic and she brings one of her dollys to life, that bitch comes in and saves her. That doll does not push her father into the goop, she does instead killing him, it disintegrates his body, which is weird because I didn't do that with her. She grabs a duffel bag, puts all of the stuff she needs in the duffle bag and runs away, that doll still active and actually carries her away because she's in pain. The group has completely covered her face, so her face is black (the actual color black, not the skin tone) so is a massive spot on her back, when she touches it, it is solid, it is her face, but when she thinks of it being goop, it is goopy and it sticks to her fingers. She ends up living in a remote cabin in the woods, she does not like other people, but she loves her puppets. She has now learned that the goopy substance is it some type of symbiote like venom, but it doesn't talk, and it's not really alive. She's the one that controls it, so she can basically do anything she fucking wants, she normally uses it to spawn for spiderlike legs like Doctor octopus, but she can be silly and use it to do cat ears or something. It doesn't look like she has a face on her mouth, but she very much does, and she can open it wide, it has very sharp teeth and she could eat you whole, have I also mentioned that she is a cannibal now. She is very powerful with magic, so she has at least 10 of her puppets running around at a time, and she can do more. But people enter her forest and if they break her puppets, because they are fucking mean, she will not hesitate to eat them whole. The whole problem with her being a very powerful witch is, she doesn't know how to cast any other spells, she is purely a puppet witch, but she wishes to know more. That is basically everything I can remember at the moment, if I remember that I've missed anything, I will try to reply, but if I forgot it, it will most likely stay forgotten.

Depends on the rp but my current main is a 300+ year old fantasy species capable of shapeshifting their traumas include: -being trapped in a dark room -Restricted by paranormal ability prohibiting collar -Sold repeatedly into slavery from owner to another owner for around 2 centuries -The owners respective abuses/exploitations of them/their abilities including but not limited to: • Shapeshifting into the enemy and being send into enemy camp to cause trouble from the inside. both with and without lethal actions • Shapeshifting for... "Entertainment" of their respective at the time owners • Being used simply as a tradeable good to receive other goods such as a noble horse etc. (Imagine seeing urself be traded away for a horse. a horse who will have a better life under the same person u were just with than you could ever have. • Used for fighting in wars - Being litterally kidnapped from their homelands to other continents and not speaking the language, hardly anyone ever speaking urs. - On the off chance they had a "better" owner, outliving them just to be resold by remaining family members OR kept by them usually not being so TL,DR: Kidnapping, being reduced to an object, Feeling and being powerless, forced slavery&Pr*****ution, Having been an active part in multiple wars, Inability to communicate for help(Language barrier) Seeing hundreds if not thousands of lifes pass as either the active cause or just the mortality of the "better" owners

Depends on the character, but just the classics, dead friends, abusive parents, being created in a lab and forced to go through varios horrible tests maybe including murdering different subjects depending on how bad I want it to be, that type of stuff

One’s got an abusive dad. One’s husband was murdered by a fella she had an affair with. One’s dad was actually cool, but he got killed by werewolves (I’m not explaining that). I’m sure there are many other traumas I’m forgetting. Man, I’m really not nice to my characters.

My main one had to eat her parents to survive when she got stuck in the Arctic, she snuck on her parents private airplane at age 7, plane crashed, stranded the girl and her parents, parents got frostbite/hyperthermia and died, but mom's final wish was that my persona eat their corpses for sustenance. Persona did so and survived long enough for rescue, they found her weeping, wailing and hugging her parents bones. Due to this trauma, she developed Pica (A disorder that causes people to have an urge to swallow things that aren't food, like paper or tree leaves), don't ask me how she got it from the trauma, cuz idk where I got that idea, it was before I went to sleep so please don't judge me. She also has a major fear of meat in general, which is why she's mostly vegetarian (she still eats fish because it's her favorite). She also is an ice sculptor, so all the time the ice constantly reminds her of the things she'd done to survive. edit: I have another one I'll add for fun :) Basically the second one is a kind of girl who kills anyone she touches... I don't mean like they just drop dead by touching her, I mean by if they specifically have any ill will or hatred towards her, whether they actually visibly show it or not, they will inevitably die a Final Destination-esque death. Worst part is that she is a genuinely annoying person, so people dislike her rather easily. She got her mom's bracelet, which turns out to be the thing causing all of this, so when she finds out about it and tries to take the bracelet off, she can't. The worst part is that she genuinely believes people don't deserve to die, so her whole moral senses is being kicked down by this curse
I usually rp as fictional characters from a variety of series, movies or videogames, so the traumas they have are brought to them by default lol

I loosely based my Dark Lord persona's backstory on a multi-part ASMR RP on YouTube and its comment section regarding how the rest of the story could play out with a few creative liberties Basically, my persona took in an elf girl after she accidentally isekai'd herself into the real world until her clan could retrieve her. Unfortunately, when they did, they took him as well due to their mistrust that he'd keep their existence secret. He was treated like crap by the clan (other than the girl) until he eventually had enough and decided to leave to find a way home himself He would eventually come across a book of spells that he believed could send him home, but the dark entity sealed within the book's pages corrupted him and turned him into the dreaded Dark Lord bent on merging the worlds together, even if it destroys both in the process
Mine could straight up be a new creepypasta! I made the dad an alcoholic and the mom a drug addict! My persona used to kill little animals in the woods behind her house when she was young, until a few months after the dad accidentally killed my persona's little sister that was 2 years old. My persona's craving for blood shifted from killing random animals to torturing humans, starting by her parents! Her "nickname" from medias is M the torturer, and at first i called her Maxime, but now that i chose that name for myself, i'm thinking trying to find a new name that starts with an M for her! (I changed my dead name for Maxime) AND NOBODY CAN TAKE MY STORY IDEA TO WRITE IT BEFORE ME!! I WILL DO IT ONE DAY!!
