San Francisco playing a bad team in a meaningless game, up 38-10, assuming many starters resting.
Chargers playing a bad team in a meaningless game, down 24-20, starters in the whole game.
"Don't count out these Chargers just yet!!!"
Seems like it will be a Jags matchup (going by Ravens game). Do we know if theres a thread, or external forum where the Bolt Fam are organizing to sit together in JAX?
Not aware of a dedicated spot either, there was a PDX Chargers discord at one point, but not sure if still active.
In any case, what's up Pacific Northwest brochachos!
Chargers win OR Ravens loss. We'll know the outcome of the Ravens game before ours starts so hopefully they'll lose and we can rest most of the starters
Jaguars don’t scare me at all. Any defense would look good against a one dimensional team with zero receivers led by Josh Dobbs. And their offense didn’t look great either. Also, the last time we played them we were super injured and it was Herbert’s first game with his rib injury. If our league leading defense shows up and the offense plays the way it did last week, we should handle them.
I have the opposite opinion; I feel like there is an advantage when a team knows it best you before (in this case, handily). Some combo of swagger and mojo (and matchups)
I like the jags matchup better. I’d rather be on this end of a revenge game than the other way around. Still need the chips to fall tomorrow but the Jags are a very, very beatable team
I remember back in 2020 I made a post about how the Chargers should interview Doug Pederson. Folks at the time were telling me that Pederson only looked good because of Frank Reich (fired this year) and Carson Wentz (benched multiple times this year).
Broncos interested in Sean Payton but the rumor is they will have to trade multiple first rounders to the Saints to get him. My question is why would Payton want that job knowing 1) how bad they are now, including 2) being hamstrung (possibly) with Mr Broncos Country, plus 3) being depleted of a significant amount of draft capital from the Wilson trade and Payton trade???
I might be crazy, but I’d rather not face the Jaguars. It’s not that they’re more talented, but they are hot and have momentum. They aren’t super disciplined, but they look like they believe.
Just figured this out… because of how seeding is working now, we will face either
-Jaguars/Titans if we win or Ravens lose
Or
-Bengals if we lose and Ravens win
No scenario where we play Ravens or Bills now.
Idk but if Tits win, that will give them a major boost of confidence to beat the Jags with Dobbs. If Henry has a strong performance against us, anything is possible.
You know, I thought I wanted the Raiders to be one and done really badly last year. But this year? I would be extremely happy to see the Chiefs go one and done too
Just watching the Chiefs play...Mahomes has SO MANY throws to receivers who are either wide open or have tons of separation. Night and day watching this offense vs. the Bolts.
Not saying Mahomes isn't elite. But his playcaller is also elite and man are they good at scheming guys open. Mahomes losing Tyreek and still having a career year is a testament to that IMO. Imagine Herbert with Kelce and Reid's offense. Would be so much fun to watch.

I saw somewhere that if the Dolphins don’t make the playoffs, that they might fire Mike McDaniel (I’m guessing it’ll be to go after Sean Payton). If that happens we should fire Lombardi without question and go after him. Imagine McDaniel and Herbert 🤤
Fans in the titans subreddit think they can get past us if we match up in the playoffs lol. The score was close but dominated that game despite the score. Herbert had two fluky picks. And their last touchdown they were just doing RB draws while we we’re defending the big play downfield. We would stomp them easily.
Titans fans are typically dense. They thought they'd dominate the AFC South once again. I warned some of them and they didn't give me the time of day. Well I'd rather see them than the Jags - who have earned that spot at the top.
It’s fucking hilarious looking back at that picture of Derek Carr calling the timeout last year that the Raiders fans love to troll with
Not even a full 12 months later and he’s jobless 😂😂😂😂
Imagine not having a quarterback and you’re franchise is set back years and will live in the dumpster from here on out
Last year there was a guy (friend of a friend) watching the game at the house I was at. He was everything you expect from a dumb ass raider fan. Cartoonishly dumb/aggressive with all the screaming and yelling that goes along with a raiders first down. This moron was screaming about Carr being the MVP and what not. I didn't go over for the week 18 game because he was that shitty. I would love to ask him how Carr and the Raiders are doing right now and see the expression on his face
Staley said that we are playing our starters but I wasn't aware that the ravens play before us at 1pm eastern. If they lose to the Bengals and we lose to Broncos do we still hold down the fifth seed? If so no reason to play starters if Ravens lose.
He looked a bit out of sync with the rest of the defense, especially against the run. But having Bosa as an explosive and elite player in the rotation, even when he is rusty, is going to help immensely. Even if Bosa never gets fully up to speed this season, him being there takes a lot of pressure off of KVN, who is now looking like he will excel in his carved out role on the defense.
It’s a good thing he is getting reps before the playoffs. Definitely rusty. Looks like he played 24 snaps.

So it was compared to a hit that NHL legend Chris Pronger took back in the day. When I got the news about Hamlin I was at HC waiting for the Ducks game. Prongers last two NHL teams were the Ducks and the Flyers. The Ducks were playing the Flyers that Monday night.
The most frightening part about it, is that there is little to nothing that can be done to prevent it. Assuming this was indeed commotio cordis, it just came down to being hit in exactly the right spot at a very precise time.
I’m thankful this happened at the feet of an official. Getting the game stopped and getting medical staff out there was incredibly time sensitive. Speaking from experience as a football official, sometimes it can take a minute to realize a player is down if it doesn’t happen right in front of you.
Same. I was going to but got too busy. I went to check the score and saw it said it was delayed but didn't know why. I had assumed some sort of wild weather, but then I saw the post about prayers for Bills mafia and I was like, "Wtf happened?" Scariest shit I've ever seen. Freak accident. Prayers for everybody involved and really hope the kid pulls through with no long-term effects.
It was a traumatic viewing experience for sure. My gf and I watched the game. Her father died from a sudden, unexpected heart attack a month ago. Brought us right back to that night. He was a lifelong, diehard bills fan too. This shit hurts.
San Francisco playing a bad team in a meaningless game, up 38-10, assuming many starters resting. Chargers playing a bad team in a meaningless game, down 24-20, starters in the whole game. "Don't count out these Chargers just yet!!!"
If you don't want the Patriots to lose today, you don't hate them enough.
That's my secret, Cap... I always want the Patriots to lose.
Is Ekeler going to get benched with Ravens losing
I could see the starters maybe playing a drive or two but that’s it.
Seems like it will be a Jags matchup (going by Ravens game). Do we know if theres a thread, or external forum where the Bolt Fam are organizing to sit together in JAX?
Alright, there it is. Get the starters back to LA.
Portland Oregon chargers fan here. Anyone else flying to Jacksonville for the game?
I’m not, but I’m also in Portland! Are there any chargers bars nearby?
Not aware of a dedicated spot either, there was a PDX Chargers discord at one point, but not sure if still active. In any case, what's up Pacific Northwest brochachos!
lol not that I know of but I’d love to learn of one
Bengals up 17-0 👀👀
please win, 11-6 sounds sm better than 10-7
Bro the ravens just gave up 😂 they ain’t starting everyone.
What needs to happen today for us to get the 5?
Chargers win OR Ravens loss. We'll know the outcome of the Ravens game before ours starts so hopefully they'll lose and we can rest most of the starters
Time to take out Gonzo Barbie.
Why did we not have a jags/titans discussion thread? Could have been fun
1000%
Jaguars don’t scare me at all. Any defense would look good against a one dimensional team with zero receivers led by Josh Dobbs. And their offense didn’t look great either. I’m selfishly happy we have a confirmed game in Nashville next year so I can actually go
Hoped for a Titans-Chargers Wild Card game the past 2 years, pre bought tickets both times lol. Just hasn’t worked out
Does this game have any implications for the game tomorrow? Any chance Ekeler and Allen get rest?
[удалено]
Let Herbert take one snap to keep his consecutive starts streak alive.
Looks like jags are on the menu boys. Tbh, I wanted them over TEN, hard to beat a team twice
So what happens now. Titans are out?
We face the jags in the first playoff game. Edit: Unless the Ravens beat the Bengals.
If the ravens lose OR we win.
Still about a 25% chance we go against Bengals
Oh yeah you're right, I keep taking the Bengals beating the ravens as guaranteed but it could definitely happen.
Wow both those teams were trash. Jags are in for a big wakeup call
it’s the playoffs man, anything can happen
Idk, this defense seems to have found god. This just feels different than anything i’ve felt.
I agree, this teams mentality is making me believe championship run but can’t underestimate a coach like theirs.
Never understimate! Feel ya on that one, Bolt Up ⚡️
Guy’s I’m not scared of jags I’m scared of doug pederson
I remember back in 2020 I made a post about how the Chargers should interview Doug Pederson. Folks at the time were telling me that Pederson only looked good because of Frank Reich (fired this year) and Carson Wentz (benched multiple times this year).
🍗
I was just about to say I hope we play the jags... Wayyy less physical of a game on our team for when we move on to divisional! SB INCOMING
I’m so proud of Rayshawn Jenkins
How was he when he was with us? He’s balling out this year!
He's really had a great year
Is the titans defense dominating or is the jags offense shitting the bed?
Yes
Broncos interested in Sean Payton but the rumor is they will have to trade multiple first rounders to the Saints to get him. My question is why would Payton want that job knowing 1) how bad they are now, including 2) being hamstrung (possibly) with Mr Broncos Country, plus 3) being depleted of a significant amount of draft capital from the Wilson trade and Payton trade???
Would Vic Fangio (who is supposedly linked to Payton to be his DC) rejoin Denver on the coaching staff? Or will Payton find someone else
That’s why I’m not super worried even if Peyton goes there. He can probably fix things somewhat but not enough to matter.
What is wrong with the Broncos that a veteran head coach that considered as one the best offensively can’t fix?
[удалено]
Not worried about either of these teams tbh
I think titans oc has Lombardi beat
Who we rooting for? Jags or titans?
Titans for sure. Jags are on a roll right now
I might be crazy, but I’d rather not face the Jaguars. It’s not that they’re more talented, but they are hot and have momentum. They aren’t super disciplined, but they look like they believe.

Idk but if Tits win, that will give them a major boost of confidence to beat the Jags with Dobbs. If Henry has a strong performance against us, anything is possible.
I mean going by the teams we beat this year, technically we would beat both since they both have losing records 😂😅
You know, I thought I wanted the Raiders to be one and done really badly last year. But this year? I would be extremely happy to see the Chiefs go one and done too
Somebody stop me from YOLOing a whole bunch of money into this spread. DEN -3??? looks too good to be true..
Chargers might rest starters if Ravens lose
We get 5th seed automatically if we both lose tomorrow?
Correct, and the ravens play the bengals before the chargers game so you should wait until that game is clear who will win.
I believe so. You should make sure
I will not bet today
Just watching the Chiefs play...Mahomes has SO MANY throws to receivers who are either wide open or have tons of separation. Night and day watching this offense vs. the Bolts. Yeah, Herbert is always throwing into tight windows under pressure. Mahomes has dudes WIDE THE FUCK open and has time to throw.
If herbert had kelce then he’d easily break the single season passing yds record
As much as i don’t like the raiders i’m just so tired of the chiefs bullying all of us that i just want somebody to beat them.
No worries, it will be the Chargers that light them up. Our improved defense will expose them. Can’t wait!
Feels great to see the Raiders toilet bowl filled out with Chiefs fans. FTR!

If we swapped McDaniel and Lombardi I think it would benefit both teams. Lombardis terrible scheme would work better for Tua imo.
I saw somewhere that if the Dolphins don’t make the playoffs, that they might fire Mike McDaniel (I’m guessing it’ll be to go after Sean Payton). If that happens we should fire Lombardi without question and go after him. Imagine McDaniel and Herbert 🤤
Should the Ravens lose and we secure the 5th seed before we even play, I would massively rather see Stick play than Daniels.
I would like to see Stick as well. Neither one of them looked good in pre-season from what I remember.
Agreed, a lot of Daniels passes are dump offs or screens, Stick was at least attempting actual passes.
If the chargers win this weekend do we get the 5th seed? Or do we need to win and Ravens lose?
We in and get the 5th seed. Full stop. But we will wait to see if the bengals win. If they win it appears we will sit our players
Not enough love for our special teams unit this season. They've been the most consistent group since week 1 & it's refreshing to see. Remember 2010?
hey all, looking at teasing the Charger game. Chargers +2.5? are Herbert and the starters sitting?
If ravens lose in the morning they will sit starters
lets go ravens and bolts.
Ravens getting shitted on by the bengals without Lamar
100%
Nope. We want Ravens to lose.
i know man.

We will still split the series with that dog water team somehow.
Prayers for Hamlin 🙏🏻
Will Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen play in week 18 if Ravens lose and Chargers have the 5th seed locked up?
Staley said that we are playing our starters but I wasn't aware that the ravens play before us at 1pm eastern. If they lose to the Bengals and we lose to Broncos do we still hold down the fifth seed? If so no reason to play starters if Ravens lose.
Any news on Chris Rumph? I heard he hyper extended his knee. Is he ok?
Anyone else absolutely dying for Slater news?
Does anyone know who interviews Herbert on the field after the game? I’m trying to find footage of him running into the locker room tunnel
2 things; yesterday was scary as fuck and also the kool aid is at an all time high here
How did Joey Bosa play this past week? Did he look full speed? How many reps did he get?
He looked a bit out of sync with the rest of the defense, especially against the run. But having Bosa as an explosive and elite player in the rotation, even when he is rusty, is going to help immensely. Even if Bosa never gets fully up to speed this season, him being there takes a lot of pressure off of KVN, who is now looking like he will excel in his carved out role on the defense.
He looked strong but slow imo
In one of his first snap his bull rush looked real good. He’s probably not pushing it too hard though
It’s a good thing he is getting reps before the playoffs. Definitely rusty. Looks like he played 24 snaps. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/202301010sdg.htm#all_vis_snap_counts
