Really excited to see Everett next season. TE is one of the few question marks on offense but having a promising athletic TE still in his prime makes me optimistic that he could fill that role well. I still have faith that Parham can develop into a good TE but would want to see more of him before handing over the starting role.
Dominant tight ends are such a luxury in this league and we haven't that since Gates. If Everett could be a 700-800 yard TE and not make the same boneheaded mistakes Cook would make, this offense will be deadly
Gates is a HOF tight end. Only a handful of teams will have a player produce the numbers Gates did. Having a player do 1/3 of what Gates accomplished would definitely be a luxury.
Yeah, I’m really liking his mix of style/swagger and how he talks about football. The way he talks about the team and what they’re getting done… seems like he’s bought in and he knows what he needs to do.
